Soft to the touch

I got samples of this but upon using it and feeling the benefits it has I just had to have it in my hot lil hand! I have always liked the simple clean and fresh design of the packaging and the easy to use tube. The beads are rather big and rough but it gave my face an all over buffing and left it feeling like silk. I used the Skin Food Nourishing Moisturizer afterward and my husband even complimented me on the soft feel of my skin. I like the fresh lime smell of the product because it's not too over powering and is enough to excite my senses. For the price and results I am officially hook lined and sinkered!

Tips: Use Skin Food Nourishing Moisturizer after exfoliating

Amazing!

I have been using this exfoliating scrub from the last 4 months. It provides gentle yet effective exfoliation and I use it every week on my face. It leaves my skin feeling soft. I have a sensitive skin and i don't like scrubbing much but this scrub is an exception. It also has heaps of natural ingredients like tea tree oil, sweet almond oil, orange oil and manuka honey to name a few and the positive part is that it is paraben free.

My New Go To

I was attracted to this exfoliator when my skin was going through a particularly rough stage (excuse the pun). I chose this one because of the impressive feedback on this brand based on their masque. So I had high expectations for this product, I based on their other products and the brand in general. The Verdict: I would liken this scrub to the St. Ives apricot scrub as it has a similar scent and look. I think this scrub has the perfect amount of exfoliant, its not too harsh but it does what is says it will (exfoliates skin). I love the fact all the ingredients are natural and that it's New Zealand made, that just makes me feel much better about using this on my skin! I would definitely pick this over the St. Ives exfoliant as not only is the product NZ made and of natural ingredients, the packaging is much better - the St. Ives one used to split on the sides!

Tips: If you have sensitive skin but need an exfoliant that won't be harsh on your skin, this is the product for you!

I love Skinfood

Skinfood has to be one of my most favourite NZ brands. I am slowly accumulating all the products.

This is marketed as a face scrub but recently I've run our of body scrub so have been using it on my arms as well and it is amazing! I love the use of walnut shell for the scrub portion of it. The smell is fantastic to and not over powering. Skinfood always use amazing scents for their products. I would like it a little bit more abrasive but it is still amazing none the less and I will definitely repurchase.

Fantastic natural exfoliator

I really love the natural and gentle way in which the Skinfood Exfoliating Scrub cleanses my skin. It does a thorough job and really works well to penetrate the skin to get rid of impurities without over drying or irritating. My skin is very sensitive yet prone to breakouts and many exfoliators I tried before irritated it so I had to discontinue using them. This product is by far the best exfoliating scrub I've ever tried.

Skinfood Exfoliating Scrub

Gentle but does the job. Smells really nice and you only need to use a small amount. Love that it’s made from natural ingredients and doesn’t dry out my skin.

Tips: Wet your face beforehand

A gentle exfoliator

I've got this in the 100ml size, that I purchased from the supermarket. It is a really gentle exfoliater, and not harsh at all. It is quite a creamy scrub, with not too much roughage in it. So I do need to really use my fingers in circular motion on my skin to get the exfoliating benefits. I use this in the shower once I've cleansed my face, but I do think I could skip the cleansing and just go straight to using this instead, as it does seem to be more gentle than any other exfoliater I have used. I would definitely repurchase this, it also smells really nice!

Great Scrub

I got this scrub in a subscription box and I'm so glad I did,

I have very dry sensitive skin, my ph balance is not very good and this scrub I have found is fantastic on my skin,

It's not too harsh but still gives a really good scrub, it helps to reduce the dry patches on my cheeks, forehead and nose.

it has a thick cream texture which I love, It doesn't dry out my skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth and without that tight feeling that I get from other scrubs I have tried.

It is not overly perfumed so doesn't irritate my skin at all

It is a fantastic made in New Zealand product and paraben free

I will repurchase as it is a great product and inexpensive

Great Gentle Exfoliation

This exfoliator is a great, gentle every day exfoliator and perfect for the face. The walnut shells provide the exfoliating bits and you can really feel them work into the skin and removing the dead skin. The smell is not overpowering but subtle and pleasant. Once the exfoliator is washed off the skin on my face felt so much smoother and softer that it was before the exfoliation. This is a brilliant exfoliator for the price!

Tips: Rub in circular motions into the skin and once washed off, apply moisturiser for the best result.

Nice and creamy

This is a nice exfoliator, more like a cream cleanser with bits in it really, but does a very nice job exfoliating without drying the skin out too much. It feels as it would leave a hydrating film on the skin, but I use toner to remove this and use my daily moisturizer afterwards, I don't want any residue from a cleanser on my skin, as it's not the purpose.

The scent is ok, not very natural, or better said a little bit weird, but not too bad and definitely not overpowering and goes away as soon as you wash the cleanser off your face.

I use this 2-3 times a week, after removing make-up with a cream cleanser, it doesn't irritate my skin and I can decide if I want a rougher or a gentler exfoliation, just massage my face harder and longer for a really good scrub.

Tips: Use toner afterwards to remove all residue of this scrub.
