Revitalift filler regime

The only good things about this range was the eye cream and the general texture of the creams. If anything my skin felt drier and the creams just seemed to rub off rather than sink into my skin. I also broke out around my t-zone and had an increase in blackheads. I wouldn’t use this range again, it made my skin worse

L'Oreal Revitalift Filler Regime

I was glad to be chosen to trial this skin care regime, I’m a big believer in using all the products in a range together to get the best outcome. Having said that, this isn’t the best of the L’Oreal product ranges I’ve tried for my skin. Having hit the big 50 last year, and having reasonably normal skin that needs extra care and moisturising during the winter months it wouldn’t be my go-to on a daily basis. I’ve reviewed each product individually and while they’ve all been packaged nicely and smooth to apply, and leaving my skin relatively well moisturised, I’ve found the range designed for more ‘mature’ women better suited for me personally.

The packaging is lovely, a light purple/silver and the day/night creams come pretty much as the rest of the L’Oreal glassware. The biggest let down for me packaging-wise was the serum. I have no idea what the idea behind this was, but the odd, base-pumping container wasn’t easy to navigate and perhaps they tried to be different just for the sake of it.

So..... I think the range would be best suited for younger skin, it’s beautifully fragranted, moisturising and nourishing, but just not my first pick of the L’Oreal product ranges. I’d say give it a try, it may just be perfect for you.

I Wanted to Love it - Truly

I truly wanted to love this range, as I'm an L'Oreal skincare fan, but it just didn't deliver for me personally. I had high hopes on receipt of my trial products as at first glance and try, I liked what I saw. As with all L'Oreal skincare products, the packaging is high-end luxe. Each of the products is silky to the touch and have a light, pleasant fragrance. That's where it ended for me. This range didn't deliver, it didn't plump my skin, fill it, reduce the appearance of wrinkles or anything else. What it did do, was leave my skin in a mess of lumps, itches and breakouts for the entire trial period. My skin will normally 'play up' when I switch to new products, but also normally settles down after a week or two. Not this time. I have had this reaction to two other skincare brands in the past but can't pinpoint what ingredients cause the problems. In saying this, I would still recommend the range to a friend because after all, we each have different skin types that react differently to products and overall L'Oreal is a skincare brand that I think usually delivers well for its price point.

Tips: I believe this range is better suited to oily skin types as my combination skin felt less than hydrated during the trial period.

Dry skin this winter? Here's a line for you!

It was a real treat to try each product from this range- I've never tried a full set of a skincare line before. I'll keep using this range for as long as the jars last because I can actually see that's it's improved the level of moisture in my skin. Before receiving this trial range, my skin was suffering from a bad case of winter dehydration, they couldn't have arrived at a better time. The serum, the first on after cleansing, is easy to apply as the dispenser allows you to control exactly how much you'd like. I discovered over the weeks that it doesn't go as far as I'd like. The consistency, while light, is quite 'solid' for a serum, it's not as liquid as other serums I've used that leave your face feeling really moist. The fragrance is also really rather intense. 6/10, would give this one a miss for my preferences. Next up is the day cream, which I absolutely loved. It just slips across the face and leaves your skin feeling so soft and ready for the day. It's fantastic under sunscreen and make up. You can leave your primer on the shelf when you're using this cream. 10/10, would buy. I also really enjoyed the eye cream, and in particular, its applicator. I'd give my eye area a quite thorough massage in the mornings to take down any puffiness and the tool felt so cool on the skin and like I could manoeuvre it just where I wanted it. The product itself has a gel-like texture that was completely absorbed by my skin and again, great under my make up. 10/10- loved it. The final product in the line, the night cream, was another that my skin just soaked up and absorbed. It left my face feeling ready for the night of skin rest and repair ahead, and I always woke up looking refreshed (well, my skin anyway!). The night cream really plumped up my skin and it's one that I would purchase again- 8/10 Overall, the one thing I would change about the whole line, is how heavily it's fragranced. When you're layering products that each smell equally strong, it gets a bit much! Just be mindful of that if you're sensistive to fragrances in skincare. I do believe though, that these do what L'Oreal says they will in terms of plumping and hydrating the skin, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The packaging across the board is very nice in terms of appearance and functionality. The price of the range is reasonable I think, perhaps a little much for the eye cream and serum, but you get plenty of the day and night creams in each jar. If your skin's lacking moisture and you could use a hydrating boost, these are definitely worth a try- whether you're in the targeted 40s age range or not!

Tips: It's very handy that you can pick them up from Farmers or a pharmacy where they'll have testers that you can try before you buy.

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Entire Regime

I was amazed when I received these 4 products to try - they're just beautiful to use and my skin is definitely looker better for it.

At 43, my skin is starting to show signs of aging, mainly around the eye area. My skin is pretty "normal" nowadays and as such, I feel my skin was well suited to this trial.

I enjoy the purple and silver colour theme to the range as it makes it look a little bit fancy, and we all need that in our lives. I also really like the smell of the serum and night cream.

My take-home points for this regime are: It's nice to use a range that is designed to work together, although it is not essential.

Hyaluronic acid is good for those of with slightly more mature skin. It has made a difference to my skin. Not so much in the wrinkle reduction area but it has improved both the texture and look of the skin on my face.

If you couldn't/didn't want to splurge on the whole range just get the day and night cream as that where the magic appears to come from. The eye cream is OK, as it the serum. Neither of these 2 products seemed terribly revolutionary to me and as mentioned in my review for the serum, It's not economical, nor necessary. To have it run out in just 10 days seems crazy, however, I may have just been too heavy handed.

The day and night creams seem to be the most economical of the 4 products I trialed - I have half a jar of each left after approx 3 weeks use.

Tips: Invest in the day and night creams if nothing else!

A classy looking regime

As ive said in all reviews the packaging is super classy and fits well with the Loreal brand. Each item is easy to distinguish and use and all creams are a great constancy with a similar scent. I think out of all of the products my favourite is the eye cream as i love the ball nozzle shape on the end of the cream i just think thats so nice and relaxing and makes looking after your eyes so nice. So that is 99% a repurchase for me. The day and night cream are both lovely they just have a stronger scent which takes a bit to get used too and i initially had a bit of a break out as they are possibly a little heavier than the past stuff i was using. Although my skin seems fine now. I can see a bit of a difference in wrinkles and i feel like my face feels a bit fuller and i actually feel like im looking after myself with a regime like this. The serum i could give or take i think as a time saver id probably just use it every second day maybe or just when i felt like i needed it??? All in all im happy to keep using it and looking for the results. Time will tell. Thanks so much beauty review for the opportunity :)

Loving the revitalift regime

These products work well togeather are easy to use and have made my skin feel absolutely amazing. I've seen a slight reduction in the fine lines around my eyes and am looking foward to seeing the results after a longer period of time. The packaging is beautiful and the price point is totally reasonable for what you get. I will definitely be buying this product again.

Revitalift Filler Range

I have been using these four products for almost 4 weeks, and I received the range to test as one of the review panel. Thanks for the opportunity Beauty Review! Overall a good quality range containing day and night creams, a serum and eye cream. As with all ranges, when you are trying the together it’s difficult to tell if you’d get the same results using the products separately. Together they seem to work reasonably well, with my skin looking and feeling better nourished and fresh. Of all four products, my favourite is the eye cream. I could actually see the lines reduce over the 3 weeks. The day and night moisturising creams are also good, though my skin is still slightly dry. I’m not sold on the benefits of the serum. As with a lot of beauty products, there is lots of outer sparkly cardboard packaging, with really small writing all over it, that I think for the benefit of the environment, that we could do away with. How about we just advocate to get product information online, including how to get the most benefits from the products and reviews by real people, rather than being seduced by pretty packaging and marketing hype? The range is quite expensive – at just under $200 for the 4 products, so this would be something I would think twice about. Saying that, a salesperson tried to sell me something similar in the mall today and each product was over $180 each.

Tips: buy when the range is on special and try for yourself. If you like one of the products trial it to see if it works on its own or in whatever combo you want to target.

The Range

This has been a lovely range to trial and am thankful to BR for the opportunity!

My skin now is more firmer, lines softer and my appearance more youthful. While this does not get rid of fine lines and wrinkles it definitely helps to reduce the appearance of them, however may be more effective starting this range at an earlier age. I believe the serum helps to boost the moisturisers and made for a smoother application. I don't have any dry spots on my skin at all for a change.

Tips: Give this range a go as the hyaluronic acid helps to lock in the moisture you need :-)

Loreal Revitalift Filler Regime

I was very fortunate to receive this entire range to review. I fell in love instantly as the packaging is a gorgeous purple colour and looks super luxurious and stylish. I started off religiously using as it instructed but found after a week it was a bit much on my sensitive skin and cut it back to only using the serum every other day and just in the morning which was better. I loved the pump bottle that the serum came in and the roller/massager on the eye cream was amazing to use. Overall I definitely noticed some improvement in my skin, my eyes don't look as tired and saggy and some of the fine lines have reduced. My skin feels so much smoother as well. I loved using this range and think I will probably continue to use and purchase myself.

Tips: Experiment with the products if you skin is a bit fussy, they still give a lot of benefits even if you use them less frequently than instructed
