Moreish Daily Redemption Day Cream review

I received this in the NZ Brands beauty box and to look at I assumed it would be an expensive product. Beautifully presented in floral printed packaging. Easy to use pump bottle that dispenses perfect amount. Personally it is one of the most moreish scented moisturisers I have used. It is quite light but no more so than my other standard day creams. For the price this is a great everyday moisturiser and so I am a little sad I stocked up on my current one before receiving this to try. I was surprised to find out it was available at supermarkets as to me it seems more like a beauty counter product.

I received this as part of the NZ Brands Beauty Box. I had heard of Moreish before and had previously tried one of their lip balms.

This is a day cream and its key ingredients are: Argan, Vitamin E and Blueberry. The container is tall and slim, with an easy to use pump bottle and a removable lid.

I have very dry skin and this cream is a bit lighter than I would prefer, even for day use. My skin still felt dry after applying it, and I felt I needed to use several pumps of it to feel fully moisturised. Also, it has the look as consistency of sunscreen, even though it does not say it contains any, but it definitely reminds me of that.

The scent is quite powerful, and after you have applied it to your face it overpowers you. It is not unpleasant, but it is strong.

This is the first Moreish product I've used which I received in the BBBE but I won't be repurchasing it. In the 3 weeks that I've been using it I think it's an ok product but as per the description it caters to dry and mature skin whereas I have oily skin.

I like the packaging, a brown plastic bottle with a pump so there is better control over how much to dispense. I use 1 and a half pumps for my face. The formula has a lightweight consistency that's easily worked into the skin but despite being lightweight I find that it takes time for the skin to absorb.

Makeup sits really well on top of this moisturiser but it has to be one of the most fragrant I've ever used, I sometimes think it should be a body lotion. The scent reminds me of creamy floral soaps or some sort of fragrance you'd come across after unearthing some of nana's lotions.

I stopped using this during the day for two reasons 1. As the day wore on my skin became oilier, not excessively, but enough for me to notice. It was as if the moisturiser hadn't fully been absorbed. 2. There is no SPF. Yes I can just slap on my primer and foundation which have SPF but if it's a makeup free day then I'm going to have to slap on sunscreen and if I'm in a rush?

I started using it at night but I just didn't enjoy having the scent linger and coupled with Living Nature's Radiance Night Oil which is just as fragrant, one had to give. I have since passed this onto mum to wear at night instead maybe she'll have better use for it.

I got this product from the BBBE. The packaging is pretty and kind of old fashioned, but exactly the same as all Moreish packaging. I was surprised that the product comes in a pump – I was expecting a tube for some reason. The pump provides an appropriate amount each time, which is helpful.

The product has an interesting scent. It has a lot of different oils, but nothing really dominates so I can’t identify exactly what it is, but it smells like children’s liquid antibiotics or something equally pharmaceutical.

The product is whitish and very creamy, and absorbs very quickly into my dry skin, leaving a soft, plump feel which I like very much. I’ve tried a lot of day creams and lotions, and I think this is one of the better ones. I say that because it has the consistency I like, the speed of absorption, doesn’t leave any greasy residue and makes my skin feel hydrated and dewy. Given the number of different oils in it, it is surprising it isn’t either greasy or waxy.

It is designed for normal to dry skin, and my dry skin really likes it.

I think this is a great product for $25 (50ml bottle) and prompts me to want to purchase more of their products. The box suggests using the Moreish facial serum with it, and the serum may have to be my next purchase!

I have given this moisturiser a good go as I have used about half of the bottle, however I am not a fan of how it feels on my face. I have combination skin and I feel it pulls and makes my face feel tight so I seem to be putting another moisturiser on over the top to make my face feel normal again. I like that the product is free of harmful substances and has natural ones instead and I love the scent, however I prefer my daily moisturiser to have SPF in it so would recommend they add one to their range :) I don't think I will be using this product as my daily moisturiser any more, but may keep it as a hand moisturiser or possibly give it away to my mother.

I have tried and loved Moreish Liquid Gold Pure Argan Oil. It was really excited to get to try this Day Cream so thanks the BBBE for including this the NZ brand box.

It comes in a bottle with a pump. I just can't say enough praise for any beauty product with a dispensing pump, so easy, hygienic and convenient to use!

The Cream has a white colour and light creamy texture. I find it absorbs nicely into my skin leaving no residue. Even though the product itself is very nourishing, it does not leave my skin feeling greasy. The cream is made with comprehensive combination of different oils. I was surprised that it absorbs into my skin that well. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth, hydrated and beautiful. It keeps my skin feeling moisturised throughout the day. This cream has a strange smell being made with a mix of various oils. I don’t find it strong or unpleasant but to be honest I am not a fan of the scent.

It comes in a 50ml bottle. I reckon it would last me a good three months, being used every morning. To make it a perfect Day Cream, I would love if this product contained SP.

For those who love natural skincare products like me, I would definitely recommend this product. I don’t have any fine lines just yet so I can really comment on it can “reduces the appearance of fine lines” as the company claims.

I purchased a 50ml bottle of this on a whim as I'm trying to find a day cream for my changing skin. I like the pump bottle which helps me limit how much I use as sometimes I'm half asleep when I put on my moisturiser in the morning and can accidentally smear on too much. This product smells lovely, I really the smell and it absorbs into my skin quite nicely too. It's not as good as other Moreish products but it is still very pleasant to use and still moisturises.

I was lucky enough to receive this in the NZ brands BBBE. I have tried the Moreish foam cleanser and exfoliator and loved the cleanser (except for the silly pump) so I was pretty excited to try another from this range. I normally have skin drier than the Sahara desert, but I had changed my routine and by some way of a miracle it's now normal to sometimes oily so I was on the hunt for a lighter weight day cream so the timing for this was perfect.

The brown coloured bottle has a pump top (and yes this is far better than the foaming cleanser pump) it also has the mechanism so it pushes the moisturiser up from the bottom of the tube. I pump 3 pumps and that is enough to cover my face and neck. The off white coloured cream It isn't overly thick it absorbs easily into my skin and leaves it feeling soft and nourished. Another thing I love about this moisturiser is it leaves no oily or sticky residue and I don't have to wait forever for it to dry if I'm applying foundation.

It has the same lemon L & P scent as the foaming cleanser. It's not overpowering but the scent does linger for an hour or 2.

This is a fantastic lightweight, every day moisturiser the only "grudge" I hold against it is there is no SPF in it.

I bought this product at the supermarket the other day as I loved the package. The smell is amazing, it smells like lemon meringue pie. It went on well an absorbed into my skin leaving it feeling hydrated and not greasy.

Unfortunately I have crazy sensitive skill so this made me get a massive rash.

I would recommend this to anyone that doesn't have sensitive skin. The BF is using it and loves it as well.
