Smooth skin with Nivea Q10 plus anti wrinkle cream

I have been using Nivea Q10 Plus Anti Wrinkle Day Cream for a few weeks now. I can tell you that I love the refreshing fragrance! It surely brings my day when I apply the cream in the morning. I notice the cream makes my skin very smooth, especially around my cheeks area. I also notice a few fine wrinkles have now reduce. For the size of the packaging, it surprises me that the cream lasts a long time! Even after almost a month of using the cream daily, I still have plenty of them left! I use the cream in the morning, before I apply any make up. This cream has SPF 15 which means I save time on applying separate sunblock cream. Because my skin is quite dry, by the evening I can feel that it needs extra boost of moisturiser. Since I am using Nivea Q10 plus Day Cream, I don't have that tightness feel on my skin by evening, and it's a very pleasant feeling. I am very please with the product, and will definitely purchase it in the future.

Tips: Apply the moisturiser on both the cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. With a circular motion, massage the moisturiser thoroughly all over your face, especially around the T-Zone. Your skin is ready for another day!

Nearly

The packaging is plain and not overly appealing, a little bit of blue and orange on the box and a wee description. When I read the box it does actually sound good, SPF15 uva And some other goodies. Inside is a nice white sturdy jar with a large screw top lid with NIVEA embossed on it. The cream is sealed under some tinfoil so I peel it back and under that we have a pinkish cream, it has a sweet talc/floral scent quite different from the usual Nivea fragrance which I'm not overly fond of, This scent does last the fragrance is subtle but it's there. This cream has a silky soft feel to it not heavy and by no means waxy a silky cream. This cream is soft and applies nice and easy, it just slips on and soaks in quite slowly. It does leave a illuminating shimmer on my skin not strong but enough that I can detect it. So this I applied for weeks, first off I like the coolness of the cream or the awaking effect I get when I use this maybe the goji berries doing there thing. Now I do have older and drier skin, I feel I'm left with a moist top layer of skin but dry underneath that layer. I don't get any deep moisturising using this, and I was using about the size of a large pea and I was going back in for seconds, my skin feels soft and smooth but it just felt a little tight. The bonus is it does contain the sunscreen and it is a light moisturiser, I also didn't get any clogging of pores or breakouts using this, I however did get a shiney finish with this. But after a few weeks I even noticed my foundation was starting to sit in my crows feet ha ha or falcons talons as I call them so my skin was drying out in the under layers. My skin over a few weeks started slowly responding to this moisturiser maybe a little acceptance that was all it was getting. I tried it over top of a serum and I did get a better result. All up I think my skin needs a richer cream I was just left with my skin wanting a little more. So sadly not for me as it just wasn't moisturizing enough. I did have awakening of my skin but my fine lines stayed the same.

Wish it had worked!

Ever hopeful that this would be my miracle in a jar, i gave it a go..Alas, it wasn't to be. It had a strange slick feeling on my skin and didn't improve the texture or appearance at all. ~sad face goes here~ Perhaps it was my skin type that wasn't compatible? My skin is notoriously difficult to please so the search for my miracle continues...

Tips: Cheap enough to try and if it doesn't work, not too much wallet damage occurs.

Some fine lines improvement but left my face shiny

After using this product for a month, I am surprised to see some changes to the lines on my forehead. Make-up doesn't seem too settled into them as much, which makes me very happy (especially since I celebrated a birthday recently and good old age is showing more wrinkles).

The packaging is clean and simple, and I was most intrigued that it had SPF 15! I don't see many inexpensive daily face creams with SPF and anti-aging - so I was excited to try something new.

The product looks slightly updated from the photo in this review, it's circular in shape with same width all around. It looks nicer than the picture, with a white lid that's easy to remove and seal, and a frosted-like tub.

The product has a light floral scent, and peach in colour. On my finger the cream is cool and has a nice weight to it. It's easy to apply and to cover my face and neck.

Unfortunately, I have oily/combination skin, and this product added a lot of shine to my face. It also didn't work well with my mineral foundation. It looked like the product didn't sink in. I started using it at night time instead of day because it's too heavy for me. It did have a moisturising feel to it so might work better with different skin types.

A little goes a long way, so it's great value for money. And it would travel well because it's light and pull double duty in your luggage.

I recommend it as an inexpensive, back-up cream and worth a try if you have some fine lines that you want to try and combat. But, not for me and doesn't replace my holy grail product.

Light & refreshing

I always struggle to find a moisturiser that i feel comfortable using. I have combination skin & suffer from breakouts so was pleasantly surprised to find this cream was light & felt refreshing when applied. The packaging is plain & simple which i liked & for a small pot i was pleasantly surprised as to how long this product is lasting. I have been using it for a few weeks now & am barely a quarter of the way through the pot. I did find myself going back for seconds afterusing a large pea sized amount but because it's so light i didn't feel too greasy afterwards. It absorbs into the skin well & had a lovely light scent. I can't say i saw a noticable difference in lines on my face but i will certainly keep using it in the future & hope for the best!

Tips: Use a tiny amount on lips as a base for lipstick.

Nivea Day Cream

It's a nice little pottle. My inital thought opening it was "wow that's a strong fragerance". I generally don't like face creams with to much of a smell to them. I was pleasantly suprised that consistency was similar to my usual cream, nice and thick but not so much it's heavy. Absorbs super quick, I can put foundation straight ontop of it. To be honest I'm not sure about the anti wrinkle effect as I'm 34 and I don't have any wrinkles, but it certainly didn't have any detrimental effect to my skin. I actually like this cream, I would buy it again, my skin didn't break out like it usually does when I switch face cream which is a good sign and my skin felt soft and healthy. Didn't make my skin oily at all. Worth a try if you're after a reasonably priced good day cream.

Tips: I have combination skin so worked well for me, you might run into trouble if you have overly oily skin.

You can trust Nivea

I am very familiar with Nivea products so had high expectations for this product. On first look very pleasant, reasonable size product for price standard Nivea packaging all and all what you would expect. Used the product as directed, for the first few days my skin felt kind of tingly after using but no redness or blotchy patches. My skin is drying a bit at the moment as I am exposed to a lot more artificial heating for obvious reasons, this product coped with that perfectly fine. I can't say I can see any real difference in my wrinkles but for the price and how my skin feels I am perfectly happy.

Tips: Keep using

Really nice moisturiser

I always use a day cream with at least spf 15 as my mum has had numerous skin cancers removed From her face, so I was pleased to receive this one to try. I liked the texture and the smell and it absorbed quickly into my skin. It was also great under make up. My skin has definitely felt moisturised and smooth and has looked great. I'm not really sure if it has reduced my fine lines especially around the eyes and mouth. I'm also not sure if it energised my skin. Overall though it was a lovely product that I would definitely look at buying.

Great product not for me

Great product just not for me. The cream was really nice to use. Sadly it didn't react well with my skin. My skin can be very funny when using new products so it was hard to know if this is a great product or not.

Nivea Visage Q10

I was quite excited to try this face cream as I have some age spots. It was so easy and smooth to put on and made my skin feel soft. It soaked in quite nicely but not enough to make you feel like you hadn't put any on at all which I liked. I can't say that I see any difference to my age spots after trying the face cream but I will keep using it and see if eventually they fade, but I am not sure they will. But overall I liked this product for the fact you only need to use a small amount to cover the face so its real value for money as it will last quite a while.

Tips: Don't use too much as it can make your face feel oily.
