Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser

I got this in the September BRBB and was overjoyed to try a new moisturiser, especially a NZ brand. I had never heard of Chia seed oil in any skincare before but I know the health benefits of Chia seeds so I was in the attitude of 'Bring it On'.

I love the cute packaging colour which is a pastel pink/purple colour and satisfies my need to be girly. It has the brand name Goodness printed up the entire length of the tube which stands out to me. When I see something with the word Goodness on it of course I want to give it a go. It just makes it even better to be a NZ branded product. I love supporting local businesses.

The formula is quite light and not overly thick which I like in a moisturiser. The smell is quite pleasant and fresh. It doesn't smell chemically which is something I dislike intensely. I love there is a foil tab to protect the product from seeping out and also so I know it isn't used and is fresh inside.

I made sure I cleansed my face first and then applied this to my face. My skin drank it in as fast as I applied it. After only two days I broke out in a big angry pimple which made me feel self-conscious about going out. I put it down this this because it was the only thing I changed in my routine and because I wasn't hormonal at that time of the month. I put it to the back of the draw and forgot about it, that was until November.

After finding out recently that my skin was not dry like I thought, that it's combination I gave this moisturiser another whirl. It was only fair that I do so right?! I started off with my newly acquired cleanser and toner followed by this baby. The results were as opposite as day and night from the first try. My skin felt soft, nourished and believe it or not my face has never looked better! I in part owe that to Goodness. So if something may have not worked the best first time around I have learned to give it another go it may surprise you.

I received this in my beauty box, always love trying new moisturisers. Comes in a soft pink tube, very easy to slip into your toilet bag when going away. Has a really nice fresh berry smell that reminds me of summer. I have been using this every morning and find that you only need a small amount as a little goes a long way. Rubs into your skin really easy and absorbs quite quickly. I have quite dry skin so find that this is a little light for me. I tend to need a more nourishing moisturiser.

I heard amazing things about this brand from a friend of mine! So I had to try some myself!

First off, great solid container, and I do love the screw cap rather than a flip cap that snaps off.

Nice smooth application and it spreads quite well. I do tend to use a bit more than suggested.

It does leave my face slightly oily for about an hour, but I actually don't mind that. I feel like I've actually put something on my face!

I've found my skin has looked great since starting this product, and I've paid it with the Goodness Everyday Cream Wash.

I must admit (sorry BR) I was a wee bit disappointed to see this in the BRBB. Now this is no fault of BR's or about the product itself.... just solely because I am still using up the Trilogy Moisturiser from the last BRBB! Farmers-Wife thinks I must have an extra small face. But really I usually like my day time moisturiser to have SPF in it, and I have already found my holy grail of that in the Joyce Blok SPF. So I wasn't about to let the name "morning" stop me from trying this out as my night time moisturiser. Especially because that packaging really drew me in.

So ... packaging. I love it. I really like the simple pastel pink tube with a silver lid. Looks very classic and cute, but also practical and it sits nicely on my dresser. I've seen some of the other Goodness packaging and it all looks just as cute. Very tempted to get the whole line just so it looks nice on my dresser.

Now the scent isn't my favourite. It seems very sweetly scented for something you put on your face, and at the same time somewhat herbally. Doesn't bother me too much once I get all the other things on my face so it isn't a deal breaker. The cream itself is reasonably thick so you have a good amount of control when squeezing it out of the tube. It spreads onto the skin quite easily and made my skin feel nicely moisturised. It seemed like it would be a good base for makeup as it sunk in quickly and left a nice smooth base. I haven't had any problems with my skin with this, but it hasn't done anything amazing either. I do feel as though it is a good moisturiser though so I will be happy to finish it (once I get through my Trilogy one as well).

I scored this moisturiser from the last vault and I'm down to the last tiny bit of it, have I already repurchased it? YES!

This product comes in a pink pastel tube with a silver screw top lid. Unscrew the lid and squeeze the product into your hands and rub, rub, rub all over your face. Pretty simple! The consistency is a light white cream. Not to thick but not to thin.

The scent is a beautiful floral smell, it's absolutely refreshing! I apply this too my face every morning after my shower and it does wonders for my skin. I have quite dry, flaky, patchy skin. I've used many moisturisers to help but most let me down eventually, this one I really love and will be the one I continue to use. It keeps my skin fresh and moisturised throughout the day when I'm bare faced.

I look forward to putting this onto my skin in the mornings it's fantastic :)

I can't remember how but I managed to acquire 2 big bottles of this, and I'm not sure I bought them, and I also had a mini from a set but I bought that myself. I actually think I received one in the BRBB before they were famous!

I really like the Goodness packaging. The beautiful purple color, the matte silver lid and the box they come in with the cute note. I do dislike the fact that its a screw top lid, I much prefer the ones that just pop out.

This cream is white, like most face creams, but I do think its on the runnier side and reminds me of a body lotion more than a face cream. For a while my face loved it but after a while it started to burn and I didn't like it so much. The smell I can't really recall, but it wasn't too in your face or annoying.

Since my skin started to hate it it began to feel like a film was being put on my face and nothing was being absorbed, so I wouldn't buy it again.

I received this face cream in the September Beauty Box. I have never really bought any outrageous face creams and probably would over looked this in the shop. I Love the smell of it though..reminds me of the smell of products in a beauty salon that they put on after a facial.

I love the size of the bottle and also that it is in a squeeze-able bottle as apposed to the usuals I get that are in bottles(hard to get the last bit of cream out) You only need a small amount, about a squirt the size of a blueberry(maybe even less) and it smooths on your face very nice and easy. It is a nice thick-ish and creamy moisturizer and works well to moisturize before applying make up for the day, or to just go bare..

I find it helps me feel clean and refreshed and ready for the day! Would definitely be looking for this on the shelf when my current one is finished.

It comes in a cute pink tube with very basic branding that makes it look young and clean. The how to use instructions are funny: Clean face, Admire your awesomeness. Check your teeth for kale!!!

The tube opens to a very earthy smell, that is sweet, fruity, and pleasant. It is a little reminiscent of the Living Nature products scent, but in a good way.

The product is a moderately thick, white, cream that absorbs quickly into the skin leaving a soft waxy feel behind it.

It’s a shame it has no SPF, but aside from that, it is one of the better day moisturisers I’ve used. I like that it isn’t too thin, absorbs so fast and doesn’t leave any residue behind.

The product claims to leave your skin nourished, fit and healthy, and it does do this.

This is only the second Goodness product I’ve tried so far, and I’ve really liked them both.

I finished up my Loreal skincare about a month ago. I was so happy to move on to my Goodness skincare. I along with many others recieved this in my Beauty Box. With the Goodness range being launched last year it was definately one of those brands I wanted to try. I like buying something that I don't have to worry about shipping costs because I can easily buy it in store. My skin type is dry combination but is going into oily combination.

This goodness moisturiser comes in a lovely lavender shade bottle that sits on itself. Its a very generous size at 75 mls plenty product to use.The product comes out easily out of this tube. The consistency is creamy with a beige off white colouring. When I fiirst smelled it , I couldn't really think of what it smells like. After much thought, to me it smells floral.

So as part of my skincare routine for the morning. I cleanse and moisturise with this. I find it smooths out over my skin nicely. I only need about a fifty scent coin worth and it spreads well. It absorbs into my skin really well.

My results from using this over the last few weeks is smooth hydrated skin. Yay finally found a cream that isn't drying my skin out. So far I've used it for many weeks and theres plenty of product in it. I think this cream could last me a few more months. For hydration its excellent. But for anti ageing no. I normally add a serum on top and it doesnt seem to disturb that. It's extremely affordable to buy. Would I buy it again, absolutely its brilliant on my skin.
