Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Makeup Remover

I quite like the simple range as I am prone to sensitive/dry skin. When I used this it helped remove makeup fairly easy. Sometimes when i used a really good quality waterproof mascara I had difficulty getting the mascara off but it did a fair job for the price! I would buy again!

I tend to have pretty sensitive skin, so I was pretty excited to give this makeup remover a go. I think it generally does a pretty good job at getting rid of my makeup, especially my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which is known for being pretty hard to shift. However, like other people have mentioned, it does tend to irritate the delicate skin around my eyes, making it a bit dry and tender. Overall, I would recommend it for sensitive skin, but be cautious around the eye area.

Where to start. The Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Makeup Remover, is not kind to eyes. From time to time my skin decides it wants to be very sensitive so i generally reach for sensitive skin products and Simple is made for sensitive skin. However, when using the makeup remover my eyes became agitated and the area around my eyes became quite dry. It also took a few goes to remove my eye makeup. Safe to say I wont be purchasing this product again.

Bought this because I could not find my usual eye makeup remover at the supermarket, and this caught my eye as it was on special. I wear eyeliner and sometimes mascara. I tried to clean off my eyeliner with a cotton pad, and almost nothing came off so i drenched the cotton pad with the makeup remover and still hardly anything came off!

It was a waste of money and you could achieve the same results using just water!

I purchased this product as I could not find my usual eye makeup remover product. I read the bottle and it advised that it removed waterproof eye makeup. I used this for two times only and chucked in the bin. It did not remove waterproof makeup well at all, stung my eyes (For hours 24+ afterwards), skin around eyes was red and puffy and it left this weird coating on where I had to apply it. Would not use again.

Have used this for years. It takes off whatever makeup I have worn and does it gently. It is also so good when applying makeup and a mishap happens. I can get a cotton bud and dab it on to fix up things like wonky eyeliner or mascara on skin. It doesn't leave an oily feel like most do.

After using this for the first time my eyes stung and were sooo red for the rest of the night, it did take my make up of but not a great job.. I tried it again another time thinking it could have been a oncer but no it did it again a real horrible sting, and red eyes for the rest of the evening.. I also found it to make my eye area feel really oily.. Would not recommend especially if you have sensitive skin

This is a good, waterbased makeup remover but if you're trying to remove makeup which is waterproof, or like a tattoo eyeshadow, it isn't very effective. It removes normal eyeshadow and mascara very well. The best part about this product though is the fact that it is very soft and will not sting your eyes at all.

This is great eye make up remover. it removes all my black mascara really well, I have sensitive eyes and this doesn't cause irritation if I wash it off well.

I actually haven't used this product for a while now, what has prompted me to write this review is that I found this at the back of the cupboard the other day, 90% full, and it went straight into the bin!

Personally this could not take off my favourite mascara which is waterproof. It worked ok on the shadow and liner. There is also a bit of "pull' when wiping off eye makeup, it's not a smooth swipe like when using Neutrogena's remover.

The main reason for buying is that Simple products are great for sensitive skin and you want gentle products for use near your eyes - but this just did not live up to it's claims.
