NIVEA Coconut Lip Butter Review

I was lucky enough to receive my Nivea Lip Butter free from my black box sample parcel from Sample Co. last week. I wouldn't have paid for this product prior to receiving it, but after sampling it free, I would definitely add it to my beauty essentials list.

The product comes in a cute metal tin and is the perfect size for slipping into your hand bag. It's only 19 ml so it's not going to take up much space. The scent I received was vanilla and macadamia and the smell was subtle but delicious at the same time.

The consistency is thick but when you put it on it doesn't feel thick or greasy. I have been using it consistently for the last 4 days and have seen a noticeable difference in my lips - they were dry and cracked before I started using this product but now are soft and well nourished. I will definitely continue to use this product on a regular basis.

This has quickly become my favourite lip balm. It is a lovely product, and so great for dry lips.

The tin is so cute, in a circular tub with the iconic Nivea logo on it in blue. The tub is in the colour to match the flavour, Caramel Cream. The pictures on it is delicious looking caramel fudge that just makes you hungry!. The tin is so convenient and just great to pop into your bag when you go out.

The flavour is so yummy! I've never come across a lipgloss that smelt so deliciously of caramel..its really one you have to try!

The formula is very creamy and it easily glides over your lips, giving much needed moisture to my lips. The lip butter seems to last well into the day.

This is a fantastic product that is my go-to lip product in these winter months. I can't wait to try and buy the other flavours in the range.

I got this recently in a black box sample - I got the caramel flavoured one.

First of all, the smell is to die for! I just wanted to suck on my lips all day! It's not like a lip balm (which are hard and waxy) I found this very creamy - like a moisturiser.

I found it stayed on my lips for a good few hours even while eating. I didn't find it sticky or annoying, it was actually quite nice. It kept my lips feeling silky and hydrated for as long as the product lasted

I would buy again in a heartbeat!

This is such a fantastic lip product. I often get dry lips, so always have one or two lip balms on me to keep my lips feeling nourished. I normally use either stick or tube lip balms over pottles, but the cute tin packaging of this product won me over. It's such a convenient, compact size so it's perfect particularly for smaller handbags or clutches.

I have this in Vanilla and Macadamia and it has the most delicious scent, similar to cocoa butter. It really is like butter in consistency, firm as opposed to being soft like most balms. This glided over my lips and left them feeling silky smooth, lasting even through eating and drinking.

This is the perfect winter companion and a steal at the price!

This for me is too sticky Did moisturise lips but not for that long once it was wiped off lips felt dry and not good Good thing was you only needed a tiny bit of it on ya lips But wont buy again :)

I have the caramel cream and vanilla and macadamia and i love them both! The flavours arent too strong of 'fake' which i love! I cant help but keep applying it. Its a handy little tin that can fit pretty much everywhere and in small pockets too

I was gifted this as part of my Nivea hamper and fell in love with the tin! Its small and compact, but big enough to be found anywhere! I was given the caramel one that smells similar to the Withers original caramels, everyone that knows me knows that I love anything caramel so this was perfect for me!

I keep this by my bed because I get very badly chapped lips and its convenient for me to put this on before bed and when I wakeup in the morning. Its highly moisturising and it does last quite some time. I would love to buy this in a chap stick form because I don't like using my fingers to dig out the balm, but other than that its an incredible lip butter.

Smells so good you almost want to eat it!

Vanilla and macadamia is my favourite. I've had it for months and it lasts forever! Love the tin, cute, compact and fits in every pocket. Your lips feel so nourished and soft even long after the balm has completely absorbed in to the lips. Well done Nivea, well done :)

This is another product that Shannon Harris recommended to her viewers and of corse she raved about it so I thought (again) Ive gotta try it!

Soo glad I did, Im not usually a big person for applying a lip balm/ butter. I either just simply forget to or just find that some brands just dont improve my lips. But this has helped me to get into a routine of applying it for sure!

I do only apply this once a day, sometimes 2 times depending on the condition of my lips but I honestly just cant get enough!! To start with it smells soo dam god! I have the Vanila and Macadamia nut flavour and yes it has the right amount of smell, nothing too overwhelming which is great (Im very keen to try the caramel one and see if I feel the same about it). Obviously this is a lip butter and NOT a lip balm so yes it does have a lovely buttery consistantcy and I truely reckon that this formular is a lot more nourishing than a balm as this is slightly absorbed by the lips instead of just creating a barrier and sitting on the surface. It works great for lips that are windburnt too!

Just a couple of things about this product. In my eyes its nothing major but I thought maybe for those of you who may want to know. I personally like the tin that its in, its nice and secure and could come in handy when all the product is gone but some of you may not like it as you may not find it hygenic, simply because you are putting your fingers into the tin to get the product out. At the end of the day as long as you are nice and clean with your hands and you are not applying it to any affected areas (ie coldores) then bacteria levels should be fine. Also this does not have an SPF in it so its not going to protect your lips from the enviroment (the sun and weather) which is the main casue of dryness to skin and lips but for the price of it what do you expect!

I do recommend this product to anyone of you who doesnt mind using their fingers to apply a lip butter/ balm and who needs something nice and nourishing for all levels. Its a great size, smell and yummy consistantcy at a good price and once again is somewhere nice an convientient. What a way to get us spending more money on our groceries! :P

Buttery smooth lips, yes! long lasting, yes! effects long term... well um, good but not great.

I tend to wear my balms at night now that I have found a daily lipstick to wear. That being said, this stays on all night and feels velvety silky in the morning but I feel it is only the surface that is benefiting. My other preferred balm feels like it is benefiting more than the outer layer deep.

love the smell of the caramel... it isn't very strong so you don't want to eat the contents of the little pot. which brings me to the packaging... I so wish it was a stick or tube rather than a tub as I have long nails it gets under them and if applied too heavily this goes white on my lips too.

All and all it is a good product, not the best but is great value for money
