Lip Butter

Love it - have it in 3 places - handbag , glove box and bathroom. Wouldn't be without it. Leaves my lips feeling soft and conditioned.

Tips: Use under lippy- leaves my lipstick shining.

All round decent lip butter

I personally have only tried the raspberry rose lip butter and its my go to whenever i have chapped lips. It is a very thick consistency and quite sticky in your fingers, hence why its best used when your lips are very chapped! All in all i would highly recommend this product and will continue to use it!

Lips so soft

This product has me on autopilot. I am totally addicted. Because it is so buttery you feel it on your lips. I probably use this product 7 to 8 times a day if not more. It makes my lips feel soft and moist and especially in winter times.

The best of all is my 4 year old daughter also loves it and got her own raspberry flavour. It is great for travelling and fits in anywhere and everywhere.

I struggle to open the tin though and I'm not a big fan of using my finger to apply, I would prefer it to be in a lipstick form but then again defeats the buttery purpose.

Tips: If you are like me, and don't want to use your finger. You can always use a Q-tip. And I have learned that easy does it to open the tin, don't press too hard.

Lovely on the lips

I bought this in vanilla and macadamia as I felt like it’d do a good job of moisturising my lips. It doesn’t disappoint. I am currently going through a phase of loving using oils on my skin and hair - argan oil, coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, almond oil - you name it, I’m addicted! For example, at the moment I am enjoying using a macadamia nut oil shampoo and conditioner and it does wonders for hydrating my hair. And oils do a wonderful job of hydrating and moisurising the skin. I saw this product had almond oil in it and that was one of the reasons I chose it over my usual nivea lip balm. It indeed does do a great job in keeping the lips soft and hydrated and is true to its word. Five stars!

Tips: You can wear it under lippy to keep your lips healthy and soft.

NIVEA Lip Butter Review

This product repaired the damage I had from wind burn within 8 hours, my son now uses it during change-of-season and says it stops damage from occurring. We have used other brands but not one that works as well as this-

Tips: Little goes a long way-

Great product!

I have 2 x tins of this in vanilla & macadamia. One at work as I sit right under the air con so my lips dry out and then one at home to put on at night before bed :o)

Love the scent/ flavour and texture of the product and find it really moisturizing but as someone else has mentioned its sometimes a pain to use your finger to apply as you always have to make sure you have a tissue around to wipe the excess product on afterwards.

Like

I like the Caramel Lip Butter. I usually put it on before bed and it lasts till I wake up. Makes my lips soooo soft. I also love the cute tin x. The only things that stop me giving top marks is that the smell isn't caramelly enough for me.. when I first tried it, it almost smelled mango-ish to me. Now that I've been using it often, I can smell the caramel, it's just not prominent enough for my taste. Also the tin can sometimes be a little hard to get open.

Tips: I'd recommend this as an overnight lip treatment. The butter isnt sheer so if you like hydration like me and slather it on, it will turn your lips white lol

great texture, excellent coverage

Love this lip butter, compact enough that it goes everywhere with me in my hand bag. Fragrance is yummy. I often use medicated balms for dry or cracked lips but im confident enough using Nivea Lip Butter too

Tips: If you accidentially leave your lip butter in the sun, just pop it in the fridge for a bit.

Hmmm.... Yummyness in a cute tin!

This is another product that Shannon Harris recommended to her viewers and of corse she raved about it so I thought (again) Ive gotta try it!

Soo glad I did, Im not usually a big person for applying a lip balm/ butter. I either just simply forget to or just find that some brands just dont improve my lips. But this has helped me to get into a routine of applying it for sure!

I do only apply this once a day, sometimes 2 times depending on the condition of my lips but I honestly just cant get enough!! To start with it smells soo dam god! I have the Vanila and Macadamia nut flavour and yes it has the right amount of smell, nothing too overwhelming which is great (Im very keen to try the caramel one and see if I feel the same about it). Obviously this is a lip butter and NOT a lip balm so yes it does have a lovely buttery consistantcy and I truely reckon that this formular is a lot more nourishing than a balm as this is slightly absorbed by the lips instead of just creating a barrier and sitting on the surface. It works great for lips that are windburnt too!

Just a couple of things about this product. In my eyes its nothing major but I thought maybe for those of you who may want to know. I personally like the tin that its in, its nice and secure and could come in handy when all the product is gone but some of you may not like it as you may not find it hygenic, simply because you are putting your fingers into the tin to get the product out. At the end of the day as long as you are nice and clean with your hands and you are not applying it to any affected areas (ie coldores) then bacteria levels should be fine. Also this does not have an SPF in it so its not going to protect your lips from the enviroment (the sun and weather) which is the main casue of dryness to skin and lips but for the price of it what do you expect!

I do recommend this product to anyone of you who doesnt mind using their fingers to apply a lip butter/ balm and who needs something nice and nourishing for all levels. Its a great size, smell and yummy consistantcy at a good price and once again is somewhere nice an convientient. What a way to get us spending more money on our groceries! :P

Tips: As I did mention in my review, this does not have an SPF in it so it is not going to protect your lips from the sun. This is essential, especially if you do suffer from dry cracked lips. Soo... you guessed it, apply your daily SPF over top of your lips and have this sitting underneath, that way you get nourishment and protection in one. This is a great combo for those of you who work or spend most of your time outdoors!

Dont worry! For us who work inside with aircon Ive got a tip for you too! If you are needing just that little bit more to your lip butter, apply Pau Pau (I hope I spelt it right?! :-/) over top. This will be very helpful to those of you who do have very dry or even cracked lips. Pau pau will act as the barrier out of the 2 products and will help lock the butter into your lips rather than being taken away by the dry heat that an aircon or heatpump traditionally give.

I hope this has been helpful to some of you, I personally was someone who, when I was younger never had to apply a lip balm or butter just because I felt I didnt have to. But due to changes of age and enviroment it is a need for me now, ohh the joys of aging ;) x

Really Nice

I got this lip balm as part of a box of goodies. It was my favourite thing in the box. It was nice and smooth and fitted my expectations of Nivea. I didn't like the pot it was packaged in however, I personally perfer Nivea's usual tube format. However, I did like the thin and wide shape of the pot compared to the usual small and deep, Nivea's lip balm was more pocket friendly.
