Nivea Lip Butter

I love anything caramel so was super interested to try this little product out. I found it to be super creamy and not sticky like others have mentioned, I usually use the Nivea - Repair & Protection lip balm during the day and tend to use this at night when I get into bed before going to sleep, I don't feel like I need to repply before I fall asleep where in the past when just using the repair & protect I found myself repplying but this could also just be habit! The other positive for me is the tin it comes in as I found it more difficult to misplace, normal stick lip balms I lose all the time! Would definitely recommend but I don't think I could use it during the day as I simply prefer the instant relief from the repair and protect.

Wanted to fall in love, but only like.

I bought both the vanilla and macadamia and the caramel one, and they are good lip balms for lips that aren't that dehydrated. They are quite light and don't last very long. I see a lot of people put it on before bed and their lips are lovely in the morning, but I find that if I put it on when I'm getting ready for bed, I'll do a couple more things and it's almost already gone. They taste lovely and aren't sticky which is what I like about them, and use this when my lips aren't very dry.

Nivea Lip Butter

I purchased the one in vanilla in macadamia because the caramel one I wanted was sold out at the time. I love the smell of the lip butter and it has a thick creamy texture. I apply this before bed as it more nourishing than some of my other lip balms, it also works well under lipstick. Best of all this product isn't sticky and is long lasting on the lips.

Tips: The raspberry tin also provides a light pink tint to the lips

Cute

These are nifty little tins filled with sweet buttery lip product that is sure to leave you with super soft lips. They are all very creamy and buttery that go on fairly clear and last a long time. I love that there are 3 delicious choices and most of all a unscented available. My favourite of the lot would be the Caramel Cream one followed by the Unscented. I don't really like applying lip products with my fingers so I'm a bit on the fence with that but I think they are definitely well worth a purchase as they have quite a lot of product in them and work well.

Unscented: No scent of course. Moisturising, long lasting. Great size tin. Not sticky. But a tad slick or greasy but soaks in well.

Caramel Cream: Very sweet. My favourite of the bunch. Again, moisturising. A great night lip moisturiser. Love the tins, like how they're quite flat. Not bulky. Not sticky. Absorbs quickly.

Vanilla & Macadamia : My least favourite of the bunch even though I adore Macadamia and Vanilla. It's not bad, It has a lovely sweet nutty smell but is a tad too sickly for me. The same consistency and formula as the others.

Caramel.. Mmm..

Since caramel is my favourite flavour of anything, ever, I had to pick up one of these. It smells sooooo good and leaves my lips so soft (especially when I use it overnight, which is unusual for me because I have weird lips that dry out overnight). It's really thick and creamy and, again, smells amazing.

My only issue with this is it leaves a weird white cast on my lips and makes me look a bit washed out and zombie-ish so I am limited to using it only at night when no one can see me :P

Lip butters

I purchased in the caramel flavor, and it smells so delicious, but I really felt that it did not last long at all. It was really nice to apply and smell the scent on my lips but I really don't think it would be very good for very dry lips. For me this is the product you use when they are already in good condition and to keep them that way.

Yummy!

Delicious little pot of hydration! I have the caramel one, and the smell is amazing! It gives fast hydration, lasts a sufficient amount of time and gives you super soft lips. Super affordable, i'm sure i'll repurchase this!

I still prefer a stick foundation to a pot - I hate needing balm when I have unwashed hands - but is so great to have in your handbag or next to your bed!

Tips: If you use too much you'll have super shiny lips which isn't *always* a great thing!

Smells so good

The Vanilla and Macadamia one smells edible :3 This is okay for me, it was too thick in my opinion and it left a white cast on my lips

Tips: Great overnight lip treatment :)

Yummy Vanilla & Macadamia Nut

This is a wonderful little pot of lip treat! Its a perfect little sized tin that can easily be slipped into your pocket, purse or handbag.

The texture of the butter is....well, buttery, its smooth but yet thick enough to give a nice coat of it on your lips with the smallest dot on your fingertip. Effective in keeping your lips super moist and preventing from chapping and drying out. Not sticky or tacky and lasts as a balm on your lips for a good solid 5-6 hours before the need to top up to keep super hydrated.

Highly scented with vanilla with just the right nutty-ness from the macadamia to make a scrummy fragrance upon your lips, that does die down pretty quickly once applied but it is nice while it lasts. There is nothing flawing this little beauty, the tin is easy to open and closes tightly after use as well so you don't have to worry about the lip butter collecting heaps of fluff or dirt from when you have it in your pocket.

Tips: Be aware if this is your first pot, its not hard like a balm so don't go plopping your finger straight into it (like I did!!) as its more buttery so doesn't need to be dug at to get out, swiping across the top is all you need.

Good enough to eat!?

I picked up one of these in Caramel Cream a few nights ago as it was on sale at countdown for $3!!!! I thought that was a bargain too good to miss so had to get it. I love caramel also so that was a bonus.

First of all, the tin is so cute and keeps together well - I was expecting the lid to easily come off in my handbag but it doesn't which is impressive.

The scent of this is very sweet and yummy, it doesn't taste half bad either, haha! It has a nice buttery, creamy texture which glides onto your lips so nicely without leaving an overly greasy feel, it then absorbs quite fast also.

The only downside I found to this was the slight white-cast it left on my lips, but I tried to overlook this as I think it's a very good lip balm, and for the price I can not complain! It would maybe be best as a night time lip balm rather than during the day though.

Overall, i'm very very impressed and am tempted to purchase some of the other flavours.

Tips: Make sure your fingers are clean before putting into Lip butter tin - you don't want to be putting bacteria into it and then onto your lips! ;)
