I was honoured to trial the L’Oréal Intensive Anti-Ageing Regime. I was immediately impressed with the packaging which is very luxurious and high-end in appearance showcasing the product in silvery/purple metallic boxes, gold script and red. The actual product is equally luxe with the eye cream presented in a tube with a metal doe foot applicator.
This product is the star of the L'oreal Revitalift x3 range! It is a lovely lightweight eye cream, easy to apply using the cooling metal doe foot applicator. It promises to smooth the skin around the eye area, reduce bags and refresh the look of eyes. It promises to reduce wrinkles, firm, tone and lift the eye contour area. My crow’s feet are definitely less defined and smoother looking and my eye area does seem firmer. I love this product and will be re-purchasing!
The eye cream was part of a trial along with the day and night cream and serum. Please read the reviews for those products.
I love eye creams with this kind of applicator. I found the tube of this eye cream a little on the firm side, so you have to give it a good squeeze to get some out. Applying the cream is so lovely - the applicator is cooling and the cream itself glides on so gently that it feels soothing and refreshing all at once. The eye area feels moisturised without being overly greasy - it felt really lovely on my skin. It absorbs in nicely, and caused no issue with makeup etc.
My eye area isn't a problem for puffiness or too many wrinkles, but the wrinkles I do have looked softened, and the eye area looks bright and moisturised.
I really like this eye cream. I'd love the tube to be slightly softer for applying so you don't squeeze too much out at once, but otherwise its a great eye product - especially if you have dry skin
When applying at night, I found the eye area in the morning still soft and bright. I don't tend to suffer dark circles and it wasn't a problem at all while using this eye cream.
I'll keep this product in my regime.
Tips: I found storing the tube sitting on its lid meant the product was easier to squeeze out when applying without squeezing out too much...
