???

This product cleans the face but after using it the next day my face broke out. It was strange because my face never breaks out.

Affordable

I have bought this a few times over the years, when I'm away and feel like I need a scrub, but don't have one on hand. St Ives is always available almost everywhere, and is really affordable considering what you get. It is not at all my favourite scrub - I find it can be a bit too scratchy/harsh, though the other ingredients don't seem to irritate. It works well if you are super gentle in the massaging action, and leaves skin really clean and glowing. But you need to moisturise immediately afterwards, as skin does tend to feel quite tight and dry afterwards.

Best as a body scrub.

This was one of the very first scrubs I used as a teenager. This scrub unfortunately is is too harsh for my sensitive facial skin. I suffered bad redness after using this and my skin felt sore. I now use Oasis fruit smoothie as it is much move delicate but effective. I ended up using this on my body instead. My skin felt clean without feeling like it's been stripped of all its good oils. It is great for skin prep before a tan and helps my moisturiser absorb better into my skin as it's much smoother. I would recommend only using this once a week as it does a very good job exfoliating.

Tips: Be careful with this scrub if you have sensitive skin.

Excellent at its job- at a cost

This scrub is great at heavy duty exfoliation, but the uneven exfoliating pieces are bad for your skin as they are too rough. They work by scratching your skin.

Tips: Use a different scrub: try to avoid microbeads as well as they are bad for the environment. Ground coffee mixed with honey can work well, though I hear chemical scrubs work well too.

Scrubby and apricot

I have bought this scrub several times from New World, usually managing to get it for around $8.

It comes in a standard tube with a picture of an apricot that I find strangely organic and appealing. The St Ives brand is well known and I find their products very good in general.

The product is quite thick and I find it quite harsh, which has appealed to me in the past but not so much now that my skin is a little more sensitive. It would sometimes leave red patches. Having said that, I find it does a good job of cleansing. I've now moved on to a different St Ives scrub that I find more gentle and suitable for my skin type.

This is a good scrub for the right type of skin, but not so suitable for sensitive skins.

Used to love this but microbeads

I was a firm fan of this apricot scrub for gently exfoilating my skin whilst remaining enough hydration to keep it looking smooth and supple. But of recent months it has become very evident that St Ives is one of the world's leader contributor of plastic microbeads in their products so I know no longer support their brand which is a little bit of a shame as I did get amazing results from this scrub but wouldn't want to cause such pollution to our seas for the sake of good skin

St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub

I have used St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub for years. It has been a staple in my beauty care routine. However now that I have tried other scrubs I just can't get excited about this. This scrub has microbeads which are bad for our sea. It's just way too rough on the delicate skin and also I do not have sensitive skin at all but this will break me out and cause dry painful rashes on my face if I use it too regularly. St Ives also test on animals which ethically I do not agree with.

I wish this worked for me because it is so easy to find and buy but unfortunately I'm just not a big fan..

Average

This is just a classic facial scrub, but it's so average and not worth the hype. I find that it doesn't always get all the dry skin off of my face despite my constant attempts.

Good price point but wish it worked better.

Not good for my skin

I used to use this regularly years ago when my acne was really bad - not realising it was probably aggrivating my skin. I do love it though - smells great, feels great! I love the really thick texture - it makes you feel like you are at the spa! Sadly not for me but I'm sure others could appreciate it.

Apricot scrub

This I found compared to my currant scrub quite harsh on the skin, it leaves it feeling clean and if I hadn't found my new line of facial care I would still be using it, but I definitely wouldn't use this on a everyday use, and don't scrub too hard!! OUCH!
