Like so many of the reviews, I too have been a fan of this product for many years. I love the exfoliation it provides and it keeps my skin fresh and clean. I use it almost everyday, but no more than once a day. I also leave it out of my regime if my skin is feeling dry. Over the years I've tried other products, but nothing really performs as well for me.

Tips: I use it while I'm in the shower, taking it right down to my neck and my ears. Everytime I've gone back to it after trying something new, I get a few spots for the first few days, but I believe that's just cos it's scrubbing away dead layers so effectively, and then it's done. Then voila! - bright, fresh feeling, clear skin.
For that huge "supermarket brand" market, be assured this one is a winner!
St Ives has been around since I was a teenager, little under the radar and just ticks along quietly.
I do love a scrub, for me it really just keeps my skin smooth and prevents all those pesky little bumps.
I always come back to this product. There really has been a revolution in exfoilators with the removal of microbeads (which really made me think twice about those pesky beads). This one is made with 100% natural apricot extract. Tube is 150ml, generous. Many variants availabe but this one my favourite.
The price and formats vary greatly out there, I can recommend St Ives as genuine value for money and don't feel like I need to spend more than $10.00. Why would I? For me I can use the extra pennies saved on other products that I feel is justified being more expensive.
Over the years my skin has become much more sensitive, for me I now use a very gentle approach to exfoilating, lightly massaging in and gently washing off with face cloth, always with warm water. I cant really give exfoilating a miss, for some reason I'm a sucker for it. But I do use it only a few times a week now. Exfoilating is in addition to using cream or oil clleansers.
Tips: For anyone who loves Apricot in skin care, this is a must have.
The texture of this scrub was sufficient to feel like you're getting all that dirt and oil out. I used this product on my face, neck and chest. The grit helps to polish the skin and I always feel squeeky clean afterwards.
I love the St Ives brand as a whole, simply because they offer such a variety of products at really affordable prices. Being a student, I don't have a huge amount of money, so I always appreciate coming across effective yet low cost products. As for the scrub itself, I found it has a pleasant smell and it was exfoliating without being too harsh or causing discomfort to my skin. I find it to do what it says it will on the bottle, and it only needs to be used 3/4 times a week so it is cost effective. Obviously, another face wash needs to be used in between using the St Ives Apricot Scrub but I find that this is enough; my skin feels energized and invigorated after each use.
Tips: I use this on my back and my chest as well as my face, as I tend to break out here too.
I have just started using this again - was my go to scrub when I was a teen! I still like it, the smell and the texture are the same as I remembered. I would only use it once a week tops though, have found it can cause a bit of dryness. Great for use on the legs too!
I use mine regularly for a deep clean but find I need good moisturiser to follow as my skin tends to be drier for a day or so. As my skin ages Im less sure this is the product for me but has helped make blackheads etc less noticable
First of all the packaging is simple to use. There's no hard to open lid and no tipping and waiting for the product to get to the top. It also smells quite nice.
You only need a small amount at a time so a bottle lasts a long time. I found the exfoliating part slightly on the harsh side for my face, with the odd larger grain which was kind of unpleasant. It doesn't wash off quite as easily as other exfoliants.
After use my skin feels very smooth but leaning towards dry. If you have sensitive skin this may not be the product for you. I now use an exfoliating cleanser with a smaller exfoliant that I find easier on my skin.
This product smells amazing and leaves your skin feeling clean, fresh and smooth. Been using it for over 10yrs now. My face is pretty sensitive but I have never had any kind of dryness from using it. Super cheap too...it's always on special somewhere
After using this for the first time I noticed my skin felt so smooth and clean, it has a great smell and feels so good to use, makes you feel clean and fresh, does what it says it will.
Found the product really good, dont need to use much. Skin felt alot softer and cleanner afterwards. Only need to use a small amount and add bit of water to get good coverage on face and neck. I even used it on the back of my hands and chest area.
Tips: I only use it every 3rd day, and I always use a cleanser before i use it
