I was lucky enough to receive the Reversaderm starter kit from the Vault. It promised to "visibly transform dull and damaged skin in just two weeks". Who wouldn't be excited about trying that! I tend I mix and match my skincare and was already using different glycolic products from different brands. So I was interested to see how using a complete range would work for me. I'm in my late 40s and have only just won the battle with acne a few years ago. Since then I would actually describe my skin as pretty normal and it isn't sensitive at all
The kit consists of a cleanser, serum and moisturiser both to be used twice daily and a peel to by used every second night and a mask once a week. They kit contained enough of the use daily items to last me two weeks. There's is quite a bit left of the peel and mask left which I will incorporate back into my normal routine.
I have had great results with this kit. My skin feels smoother and plumper. Whilst it hasn't gotten rid of any lines, it has smoothed these out enough to lessen the appearance of them. It also brought to a head, two of those pesky under the skin lumps, which are now gone. Yay!
Overall I was really impressed with this kit. Would I use it again? Absolutely! However, I can't see myself going out and buying the full sized version of these products. They are very pricey and from my calculations based on this sizes in this kit, I don't think they would last long. I would happily buy the starter kit again though when my skin needs a bit of a boost, especially as the range is designed to be used like that, on two week cycles (see BR trial reviews of the entire system). I just wish this kit was more readily available as according to this listing it is a BR exclusive. For the price of a facial you are getting equally good results.
I highly recommend this kit to those wanting to try out of the whole range before committing to purchasing the full size items. Or for when your skin is in need of some intensive treatment.
I was so happy I managed to grab this in the vault. I was a bit confused as the listing about has the full size item measurements.
It came if a white and blue box that was plastic wrapped. Inside the box slides out to show the products in a lovely fitted tray.
It would be nice if they had listed the products in order to use. Either in the box or on the instructions on the box which made it slightly confusing. As they are listed cleanser, serum, cream, peel and mask. I think same people may use in this order if not in the know.
I love the smell of the products they are fresh and made me feel like I was getting a facial in the salon.
They are all white tubes with blue lids
Glycolic clarifying cleanser (30ml) is the biggest tube of a white cream to cleanse with.
Micro-cellular age correcting peel (15ml) is a clear thin liquid applied for 20-30 minutes
Enzymatic detoxifying mask (15ml) thin purple cream applied for 15 - 20 min
Tri-collagen accelerated serum (15ml) thin white cream
Antioxidant regeneration cream (20mls) thick white cream
While using the products I did feel a slight tingling which is warned about on the packaging it wasn't uncomfortable or itchy. My skin did look a bit red during the process but feels amazing.
Think I'm going to be saving up and looking for sales on this stuff as I would like to try the products over a longer period to see if there was any major difference to my sunspots as they are currently a major issue for me
Tips: Cleanse, peel, mask, surum, cream
