Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm Review

I was a bit skeptical about this product when I opened the pot. It looked to heavy. However, once I had used it to remove some waterproof mascara and eye liner, I was sold. It very quickly goes from a solid waxy feel to a warm, smooth balm that dissolves even the toughest makeup just about straight away. It is not difficult to wipe off and I found my skin did not have that dry tight feeling afterwards. Bonus for me is that it has no chemicals or other synthetic additives. The best out of the September box for me!

I didn't think that I could find a better cleanser than I already had, but this product is top shelf! It's a wax type of cleanser that is so easy to use, and effective. You just take 1/4 teaspoon of wax and rb it all over your face. It literally meets your makeup and gives you the best panda eyes until you use a warm organic cotton face cloth (which is provided) to wipe the face clean. There is no harsh rubbing and ithe cloth is so soft. The ingredients that make up this cleanser and a decadent combination of heaven. Rose hip, mango and coconut. It smells Devine and really nourishes my skin.

Wow, just wow I had heard about this cleanser on a lot of social media leading up to its release and I waws super excited to recieve this as a full size product in the BRBB. I don't use this everyday as I feel that it is a bit too much for removing everyday makeup, but I love love love it for removing a full face of makeup. It is so easy to remove makeup with this balm, you just heat the product between your hands and them rub it all over your face, similar to if you were moisturising concentrating on areas with heavier/stubborn makeup such as matte lippy or mascara. Then just wipe it away and you are good to go, it smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and moisturised. Gone are the days of scrubbing your face to remove every thing, you dont use much so even though this is a bit pricey I feel like it will last a long time!

Was delighted to receive this in my Beauty Box, and very excited to use it. I have used a very similar product (another brand) but it made my eyes sting, and had a very strong smell. The Trilogy cleansing balm has a great fresh scent, and it is so very easy to use.

As soon as you smooth it over your face, it melts into your skin, and massaged all over, it simply melts away makeup.

Using the cloth and warm water to remove the makeup and balm, it removes all makeup leaving your skin clean and fresh. Not tight or sticky.

I will definitely be buying this product again, and recommending it to everyone, I absolutely love it.

I received this Trilogy Make-up be gone cleanser in the latest beauty box. This is the second product I own from Trilogy and I am definitely not disappointed. I was in need of a new make-up remover and then this wee gem arrived. I had been using make-up remover wipes before receiving this and had been struggling to get all of my waterproof mascara off.

This take everything off so effortlessly, I no longer have to rub and destroy my eyelashes. It feels super amazing on my skin and leaves it feeling smooth and hydrated. I find I don't have to use much of the balm as a little goes a long way especially once it mixed with water. This is definitely a must have beauty product.

Most cleaners leave my skin too dry/too oily, which is not good when prone to acne. This I love. My skin feels amazing, its left feeling soft, bright and actually makes me want to wash my face at night as it's almost a treat. I do find it leaves more eye make up than other brands, but It can come down to how much attention you are giving to your eyes (as mentioned per instructions). The cloth included feels great but a simple soft face cloth works a treat.

I got this product in the recent BRBB. I was excited to try it as most trilogy products are amazing plus I have never used a makeup removing balm before, and I was not let down. It comes in a nice compact pot and it also comes with your very own trilogy face cloth. I followed the instructions and put the balm on my face, I didn’t use a lot, it’s not needed, and it completely melts on your face when you rub it in, it’s quite incredible actually. Then put your cloth under warm water and start to wipe it off. I don’t wear a lot of make up so it didn’t take a lot for my face to be clean. I did a last splash of water on my face to make sure all the product was off and dried my face. Then use the Trilogy rose hip oil to finish.

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now and I love it, my skin feels smoother and fresher. I think its good value for money as you really don’t need to use a lot of the balm, I think I will last a while. The only thing id criticise is that the face cloth is white, so after one use it looks really dirty, but this is very minor and I’ll just use another face cloth! I will be purchasing this product when I run out

i will be repurchasing this! It is so nice to know that you are removing your makeup without any soap but rather natural products. I was absolutely blown away when I first used this product it is soo amazing. I love the feeling of the oils on my face It so good and you can just see yourself smearing away the makeup.

Mascara. The mascara can be a little difficult and takes a little bit of time to remove. If I have a lot on i will go back in with a little bit more of the balm to remove it.

The little cloth it comes with is great too it just help wipe away the product and it is amazing how much comes off onto the cloth.

the price is very expensive but some times you just need to treat yourself.

I did not like this at all. The process of smearing my make up all over my face was not nice, I also didn't like the feel of the product wile rubbing it in. It just felt wrong. Using the cloth to wipe it off was the best part, but unfortunately getting the make up off the cloth was more of a mission than getting the make up off my face (because its mixed with the oil in the product). The whole process took twice as long as it usually takes with other products AND when I then when over my face I still had product on my face and had to use my normal remover as well ( this is probably my fault as I haven't had much practice with such a thick make up remover product- maybe if I give it another go it will be more effective). The one positive is that my face felt good afterwards and someone also made comment saying it looked good, but I really didn't like the process and the 'thick' feel of the product on my face (particularly around my eyes).
