Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes Review

Really dry towelettes, which make for ineffective makeup removal. Smells good and is gentle on the skin but what the point? Most likely won't buy this again as there are many more effective options available.

Got a pack of 4 at postie plus for only $10 !! Love getting a bargain ! So cheap and so good always have one pack by my bed one in my hand bag and one in my car and one in the bathroom very happy with the deal I got !

I really liked these wipes when I first bought them. I have super sensitive skin and find I can't use just any cleansing wipe. This one I was able to use without breaking out or reacting to. It gave my skin a good basic clean and my skin felt soft and refreshed afterwards.

The only downside is that I found you didn't remove as much makeup or clean your skin as well as you would have if you had used actual cleanser itself as there was still product left on the face after using the first initial wipe.

I would recommend these wipes for travel or if you are too tired to go through the whole Step 3 process of Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising but wouldn't use them every night as I feel you would get product build up, which then makes me break out. A great alternative for on the go.

I got these in a prize pack and I used them after a night out and heavy makeup. I was pleasently surprised by how easy it was to wipe it all off.

I did have a bit of trouble getting the waterproof mascara off but after a couple of swipes it too came off.

I love that they aren't heavily scented because I find perfumed wipes irritate my sensitive skin and leave it red and rashy.

I always keep some in my bag for on the run emergencies such as panda eyes or whatever. They are also good for cooling down my face when it's too hot.

These wipes are a god send. They do exactly what they say they will do - moisturise and remove makeup.

I have combo skin and find these feeling rather amazing. I've always had a problem with trying to remove mascara - my eyes get super sensitive and sting beyond belief! I haven't had this problem using these wipes thankfully. They're gentle enough not to irritate my eyes, but strong enough to remove mascara easily without having to scrub your skin raw.

I have noticed that although my skin feels moisturised and fresh immediately after use, about 10 minutes later or so my skin starts to dry out. Nothing terrible though, it's just an observation. However, I don't go to bed without applying night cream anyway so haven't tried NOT using a moisturiser afterwards

Handy on the go packs are perfect size for any bag. They're worth the price (which in my opinion isn't that much anyway) and would be buying again as soon as I run out!

I won a pack of Skinfood New Zealand facial wipes thanks to Beauty Review and was interested to try them. I usually clean my face with my favourite cleanser on a cotton ball. The wipe is easy to take out of its pack. The feeling of the wipe on my face is refreshing. However, I have a very sensitive skin and the wipe really dries my skin off and doesn't moisturised it. For my type of skin, the wipe does half of the job it claims to do. I won't discard the leftovers wipes. I will use them when I don't have direct access to water while camping or hiking. The price of $0.40 / wipe is a bit high in my opinion. I would also prefer a smaller packaging made of recyclable plastic.

I have dry and sensitive skin but I wear a full face of makeup most days to work so I look for something that is removes all my makeup without aggravating my skin or leaving it dry.

Packaging wise these are the same as most other facial wipes simple clean and easy to use (the little sealer top seals back well after each use – which is really important as sometimes these don’t stick back down well and the wipes dry out) but these did not do this.

This removed my full face of makeup including my waterproof mascara. I did have to go over my eyes a couple of times to get the mascara off but I didn’t have to rub at it and the rest of my face came off easily (generally I wear a mineral foundation blush etc).

It has a very light pleasant fragrance – I really don’t like wipes that have a very strong smell of any sort and doesn’t smell chemically like some can.

The wipe felt thickish and took off my makeup reasonably easily, it didn’t sting or aggravate my skin and it left it feeling clean and fresh without being dried out. For a brief moment it did feel like my skin was going to dry out but then it went away and my skin felt nice and soft and clean. I follow this with rosehip oil and a serum and moisturiser so afterwards my skin felt fantastic.

Pricewise I think this is on par with a lot of the facial wipes out there I think you kind of get what you pay for when it comes to facial wipes.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend especially for those with dry or sensitive skin (or both)

Love these, easy to use and perfect size for chucking in my handbag. Contain no nasty chemicals so my sensitive skin doesn't react to them and 1 wipe removes my whole face of makeup even my waterproof mascara. Am definitely sold on these bad boys

I really loved these! I have sensitive and also dry skin so finding wipes that don't irrate my skin is rare! These were however very gentle and also did an amazing job! They weren't too harsh and they actually felt like they were cleansing my face!

I used these wipes for the first time about a month ago after seeing reviews by friends on facebook. I had a few bigs nights out with heavy foundation and eye makeup and loved how easy, fast and effective these wipes are. One wipe removed all of my makeup, including eye makeup with no harsh rubbing or effect to my skin. These wipes are the best I have ever invested in. For pretty much the same price as what I would pay for any other brand these have twice the effect with the large thick beautiful wipe. I now keep a pack of these in my handbag and one next to my bed for easy use on lazy nights, I often use them before I even cleanse or after to remove in residue I missed then moisturise. Would highly recommend these to anyone. I would love to see them bring out some smaller handy packs for in the handbag pocket for over night stays rather than carry around my big 25 pack.
