I tried using the micellar water at morning and night to clean my face (one of the recommended uses for it). I have sensitive skin so was glad it didn't sting when I applied it - and my skin did feel hydrated just after using it.
However, over the course of the few days I tried the product, I found that my skin was generally drier than usual, so I won't be making micellar water my daily cleanser (the bottle claims to improve symptoms of sensitive skin such as dryness and redness - but I didn't find this happened for me)
I did like using it as a makeup remover though, and it even works to remove mascara - so I'll definitely keep using it in this way as I feel more comfortable putting this on my face than a harsher remover.
I also imagine that this would be a useful product for travel (and the lid snaps on firmly so there's no way you'd spill it in your bag)
With skin so sensitive I've been hospitalised after an eye cream disaster, finding a cleanser gentle enough to not bring me out in blisters, but strong enough to remove a smoky eye is a tough ask. This little beauty does it. Actually reducing facial redness (perhaps my previous cleanser was aggravating my skin minimally without me realising) and cleansing even the most waterproof of mascaras, this baby will be in my trolley again.
Tips: Pop it in the fridge so that when you use it on your eyes to remove makeup it is cool and refreshing. Great for the morning after a late night out!
