Garnier Make Up Remover Goodbye Dry Make Up Wipes Review

I personally LOVE the Garnier Make Up Remover Goodbye Dry Make Up Wipes. They come in a close second to my personal favourites (Johnsons), but aside from that there's no reason why I wouldn't buy them. The packaging is cute, the towelettes have a soft texture which helps them to gently exfoliate, they remove all makeup easily and have a light, subtle fragrance.

I was pulled in at the supermarket after running out of my usual makeup remover wipes and seeing that they were labelled especially for dry skin I put a couple in the trolley.

The packet has a reseal tab that actually reseal which already is a bonus over other wipes that fail on this part, no drying out of the wipes before I've used them.

The cloths are soft with a slight texture pattern that give a soft exfoliating and the large size that means that in one wipe I am able to remove all the base makeup, for my waterproof mascara and eye makeup though I did need to use a couple though to get all the traces off. There was no excess rubbing however, no over drying of my skin, no irritates or slimy residue. There is a fine fragrance to them however but its not over powering and it is quite un describable.

I only use makeup remover wipes to get rid of my makeup and I follow it up by actually washing with a cleanser to be sure I get rid of all traces of makeup and dirt. So I didn't experience any reactions such as breakouts or red patches.

I purchased a pack of these when they were first released in NZ. I loved the pricing of this product and also how many wipes you get.

I found that these wipes did work well at removing my makeup. The wipes are very soft and gentle and the wipes are large enough to do your whole face with one cloth.

The reason I give this product a low rating is because they reacted badly with my skin. I have normal skin and don't usually react to any skin product. I have a idea of it being the fragrance that lingers on this product.

As someone who usually uses baby wipes as the first step to removing makeup, these were a bit of a splurge for me. I grabbed these when in Kmart and had a look on here to see the reviews.

The packaging is pretty and girly. It functions like any pack of makeup wipes with a seal to keep them fresh and stop them from drying out.

Unfortunately for me there is something in these that makes my face sting. It isn't unbearable but I have stopped using them because I am concerned as to why it is happening and also my skin started to break out - my skin almost never breaks out because it is super dry.

This is definitely something to do with my skin as I gave these to my sister and she uses them with no problem. Unfortunately it is just my skin being sensitive to an ingredient.

Aside from that, these definitely do remove your makeup. I find makeup wipes particularly useful to remove eye makeup and stubborn mascara. These work well to do that.

Because of my skins reaction to these I definitely won't be purchasing these again. Aside from that I do like these but the reaction I had to them isn't worth it for me.

I wear make up pretty much every day (well, apart from the days I am not at work) and as soon as I get home, there is nothing better I like to do than get that make up off and make my face feel super clean. I have used a number of different face wipes, from budget to high end, and while I had found a couple of impressive ones, I still hadn't found that one where I would go, yes, this is my new favourite....that was until now.

These wipes take off my make up pretty easily, even my hard to remove mascara. What I typically do is remove as much make up as I can using the wipes, wash my face and then use the remaining clean part of the wipes to remove the last traces of mascara...boom...super clean skin.

I have noticed since using these wipes that my fine lines and wrinkes (especially the ones under my eyes) aren't as noticeable, especially when wearing foundation. I'm not sure if it's the face products I am already using, however I had been using these products for quite a while and hadn't seen any results - start using these wipes, my skin imperfections start to diminish. So it could be from these...

I will now continue to use these wipes. I have found my favourite.

I have combination skin (dryer in winter)

I try to change my make up wipes every so often just to give my skin a break from the chemicals in each product. While the wipes did take my make up off, my skin did sting a bit afterwards and I found the wipes were quite dry and required more than 1 wipe to remove my make up

I ran out of my usual remover and thought I'd give these a go . They are ok... They do leave me feeling fresh and clean with no excess make up coming off. However on the waterproof mascara they kinda suck I do have to rub continuously and I thought it was all of it however when I woke in the morning I still had a little bit of panda eyes. I do have sensitive skin not so much dry and I didn't find that I reacted to them as some others have so that's a bonus. I would have to say that I'm not against them but I will continue my hunt for the perfect make up remover.

I absolutely love these! They dont dry my skin, they thoroughly remove all my makeup, even water resistant makeup and are super safe around my eyes too. It doesnt hurt my eyes at all like some of the ones iv used in the past. I love the smell of them aswell. I also like the thickness of the wipe. Only let down is id love a slightly bigger size. I also love the price and ease of getting more (supermarket).

I brought these wipes after waking up morning after morning still wearing half my face after a long night on the town. I'd tried a lot of products that I found to be inadequate in removing my heavily applied mascara, eyeliner and even darker shades of lipstick.

Fed up of breaking out all the time from sleeping in my makeup, I decided to give these a go and I was not disappointed. I think the packaging is extremely effective, In particular, found the seal to close the wipes did not lose its wear, meaning my wipes were full of moisture right to the last wipe.

In terms of the actual product, I found it to live up to most of its promises, I find that although it has been the best makeup wipe I have used to date in removing my mascara, I still found myself having to rub at my eyes for a little while to completely remove it. However, I feel that one downfall is completely overridden by the fact that these wipes are super thick and gentle! Even though I was rubbing my eyes, my eyes never got irritated or sore.

I am in love with the freshness of these wipes, as soon as they make contact with your skin, they leave it feeling and smelling so fresh and clean. I found that in the mornings, I would use them even when I wasn't wearing makeup, just because I liked the way they made my face smell - which btw lingered for a while!

These wipes are great, they remove my makeup completely without having to rub hard or spend too long working on my face. They smell lovely and my face feels fresh and clean after I use them. Also the packaging is really good, the seal on them works really well which helps to keep the wipes moist right to the very last one. I love that they are cost effective and easy to get at my local supermarket as well
