Reviews
I received a couple of samples of this from the chemist, as I went In and asked what was good for dry, sensitive skin.
The cleanser had a milky consistency and felt nice cleansing my skin, it didn't feel tight and uncomfortable after using this & It also didn't irritate my sensitive skin
I found this to be a great cleanser. I went and purchased a big container of this as I thought it was a perfect product for my skin.
So I have gone through a bottle and a half of this cleanser. Before I start, I just want to say my skin is combination, oily on the t zone and really nice and normal on my cheeks (gosh I am grateful for me cheeks) also a bit acne prone on certain days during the month ;) I do like how every time I use this cleanser my skin doesnt feel tight and stripped of moisture, like the feeling you get with most foam cleansers. However, because of this I am a bit iffy about it actually cleaning the gunk off my face. This cleanser didn't really control my sebum production as well as some other cleansers but then again, the packaging never said it will.... Overall it's a nice gentle cleanser that i think would be great for people who already have relatively good/ normal skin (gahh hate this term normal sometimes... normal is something that is the norm, however most people don't even have what is considered 'normal' skin) I gave the half bottle of cleanser to my sister, who is five and it's really lovely and gentle on her skin ( not to mention adorable watching a five year old pumping out cetaphil and rubbing it on their face :P)
Tips: A nice cleanser that anyone can use. Might not work that great but it's nice on the skin and it cleanses.
I've been using this cleanser for most of the last decade, and have been very happy with it. It doesn't leave my face feeling dry or tight, and manages to get most of my face make up off. I still need a seperate product to remove mascara but that's fine by me. You only need a small amount, which means a bottle lasts a long time. It does have SLS in it which is a concern for people with dry or sensitive skin, but it's a bit further down the ingredients lists than many comparable products. It doesn't foam up much, which is fine by me, as it gets my face clean regardless.
I currently use this cleanser and its great! Its a lovely cleanser ideal for sensitive skin and doesn't leave my skin dry or oily after using it.
Tips: Use twice daily for best results
I have combination skin that is also annoyingly sensitive. I find cleansers are either too drying, stripping my skin of all its moisture and natural oil. Or, the complete opposite-overly moisturising and leaving my skin feeling like it hasn't had a proper wash!
When I found Cetaphil I knew I was on to something good. Its a nice consistency, almost like a light lotion and it is fragrance free - a sensitive skins dream! It applies really easily and is a perfect basic cleanser for every day use.
I find that if I want a more thorough clean for those extra dirty days I use a cotton bud to get in to the nooks and crannies around my nose and eyebrows so that it really works the cleanser.
Cetaphil cleanser leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean without stripping the moisture! A perfect addition to any sensitive-skinned girl's cleansing routine.
Tips: Added bonus- its gentle enough to use as an eye make up remover if you're feeling a little lazy or desperate :)
My dermatologist gave me this, when I started a course of Isotane for acne. It is very gentle and doesn't aggravate dry delicate skin. It's not that great for removing heavy makeup, but fine for everyday light makeup. It leaves your skin soft and not at all dehydrated. Its a great price and available at most pharmacies.
I have very oily and acne prone skin and this is the best of many cleansers that I have have tried. It does not dry out or irritate my skin and visibly improved my acne situation when I started using it.
Tips: Follow up with cetaphil moisturiser for visibly clearer skin!
I use this in conjunction with another product and it is fantastic. I did have really horrible acne even into my 30s and since using this product it has really cleared up. The other thing too is that if I use it and forget to use moisturiser then it does provide a bit of that too- would recommend for sure
This is a great all-round cleanser - gentle but thick enough to remove any makeup. It lasts for quite a while, making it great value for money. I have sensitive skin and don't have any issues using this product.
