Satin Finish

When I first squirted out the product onto my hand, I thought it looked a bit strange - like curd. A yellowish squishy, oily liquid. But after rubbing into my skin, I was pleasantly surprised. It absorbs into the skin well and leaves a really lovely satin finish. It feels nice under make-up and feel it was a nice make up primer - making my make-up stay on. Fragrance is lovely too. I really like this product and have recommended it to my mum, who also likes it. The price seems fair too.

Tips: Don't be put off my the consistency when squirting out. It doesn't feel how it looks!

Pleasantly Surprised

I was really excited to try this product because the Nivea name (to me) is a 'classic' brand - my mother used cream products. I am in the 50 plus age range now so maybe I think about wrinkles more than some of you younger gals.

First Impressions The packaging is robust, with a sleeve covering the product box and a clever incorporated insert (inside the box) to keep the product upright. It can be quite disappointing to open product to find some missing or leaking. An informative colour booklet is also included.

The bottle is a nice size, purse handy if you travel. You get product via a handy wee pump which I did not expect.

I did not realise at first that I was seeing the actual 'pearls' through the partially transparent bottle. This suggests 'honesty' - I have been jaded at times over various advertising techniques.

The scent is fresh and light, not overwhelming - pleasant, as is the feel of the pearls in the carrying liquid. The pearls are not gritty - they break up and are quite easily absorbed.

Product is cooling around the eyes - a really pleasant feeling. The moisture it provides is very good, I used it on my eyelids as well with no adverse effects.

Day 2 I thought I noted improvement. Day 3 I knew there was improvement. It feels really, really nice.

A vain man in the household, also 50 plus couldn't wait to trial the product either and says he has noticed he's a bit 'wrinkle-less'. He really likes the product and intends to keep on using it.

Well done Nivea - good product and good price xxx

Tips: * You do not need much product per application. I used a small pump press.

* After application, check your mirror. If you don't rub it in properly the yellowish product dries and can look like flaky, ashy stuff.

* Personal opinion here but I don't think under 40s really would need this product.

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls Re

I just love the pump bottle this comes in it makes it easy to dispense (just one pump is enough) and you can see how much of the product is left so you now when to buy the next one before you run out. The yellow pearls a broken up as the a pushed out of the dispenser and a rubbed easily on to the face and easily absorbed into the skin, leaving your face feeling refreshed and very smooth. They have a slight fragrance which I don't mind. I wait about 5 min to let it absorb in properly before applying the next product. I have noticed a difference in my wrinkles since I began using it just over a week ago and would highly recommend this product. I will be definitely buying this again.

Wrinkles begone!

I started using this product with a bit of scepticism but large dollops of hope. I'm in my early 50s and have my fair share of wrinkles - particularly around the eyes and forehead. I have sensitive skin & wondered whether I would react to the product as I sometimes do (Btw- I didn't). The pearls are the consistency of whipped butter & a pale custardy colour, it's a light, non greasy cream & absorbs quickly into the skin. One pump does my whole face & neck, which I gently stroke on in circular motions. It has a pleasant aroma & makes my skin feel soft, silky & hydrated. I've been using it now for about 10 days & my skin appears softer & smoother. Still a bit early to say definitively that it'll turn back time, but I think I can see some difference especially lighter lines around the corners of my eyes, so will keep using it. Judging on use so far the 40ml pack will probably last 7-8+ weeks (obviously longer if you don't use as much). Not in my local Countdown at the mo, but I found online that its in the Warehouse - normally $30 but on special for $22.49. If you're concerned about wrinkles - I'd definitely give it a go! Update: I use less of this product now and just target round eyes & forehead. At present use the 40ml will probably last 12+ weeks. After reading other reviews of the Nivea Q10 day & night creams, I now use these as well & wow, what a difference these 3 products have made to my skin!

Tips: Cleanse first, of course, but can be used either morning or night depending on your routine. Then put on your usual moisturiser and go natural, or it's a good base for tinted moisturiser/ foundation.

Q10 plus Anti-Wrinkle

Love the packaging. It's small and compact. The design of it is great with the pump and it ensures none gets wasted. Smells nice and easy to apply. You don't need a lot as 1/2 - 3/4 of a pump is more than ample. Did I notice a difference to my skin - no. I asked friends and family and they didn't notice a difference either. On the plus side I do have sensitive skin and it didn't react to my skin. I'll keep using it and see if it makes any difference over a longer period of time used.

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls

I was lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to try this product and I have used it every morning and night for two weeks. The packaging is very appealing, showing the pearls through the clear plastic pump container, although I would have preferred to see the product in a glass bottle as I feel plastic doesn’t “feel” as hygienic. I was almost put off by my initial first pump of the product. It came out with an almost “cottage cheese” appearance. Not what I was expecting, however, I tried it on the back of my hand and was pleasantly surprised. It blended into my skin softly like silk and left my hand feeling very soft so I was excited to try it on my face. Because I was given this product as a trial, I used it very generously. I used one pump to do my whole face, one pump to cover my neck and a third pump to rub into my chest area. The product goes a long way and absorbs into my combination skin type quickly leaving it soft and not at all feeling dry or tight. My first thought was that it was lightly scented but I quickly got very used to that and don’t notice it any more. If I was to purchase this product for $30, I probably wouldn’t apply it to my chest area but even by doing that twice a day, I have only used about half the product in the bottle. When I ran my hand over my skin, it felt soft and nourished but when I lightly press my skin, it felt slightly ‘sticky’ and I was concerned that it would not blend well with my foundation. But I had no problem applying make-up over the top. As I don’t have too many wrinkles, I can’t comment on any results the product had in that respect, however, I have definitely noticed that my skin looks clearer and has a more fresh appearance about it. Is it my imagination, or have my finger nails got longer and a bit stronger too over the past couple of weeks!? I would definitely purchase this product, however I would use it a bit more sparingly and try to make one pump go a bit further.

Tips: Tip: I suggest you use a mirror when applying this product as sometimes some of the "pearls" don't always dissolve when first applied

Nivea Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls

After using this product my skin feels softer and smoother. My complexion is more even. I also used it on my neck and chest and had great results. it was an area that had aged over the last year and now it is smoother and the lines are more softer. After applying my makeup I noticed my overall look on my face was softer, smoother and younger! Very Happy!

Replenishing Pearls by Nivea

I find that I get good results when I smother my face in this then add a moisturizer once it has absorbed. It has a scrambled egg texture as the pearls are squished into the serum. It does help hydrate your skin but as far as claiming to reduce wrinkles the jury is out on this one. I have yet to see any change.

Tips: Put plenty on then moisturize for extra hydration.

Shrugs shoulders

Nivea's Q10 Replenishing Pearls is a freaky looking little product which transforms from pearls to a silky serum when dispersed through the pump. Technically I don't have any issues with this product, and I was really only looking for something new to try out that might have some form of impact on my fine lines. It smells great and feels lovely - I do find it a little sticky initially, but once it's soaked in my skin feels like I've given it a healthy dose of moisture with no residue which is a bonus for me. My skin is a weird combination of super oily yet sensitive, so finding a good product can be tricky, and I usually lean toward the whole "less is more" approach. At the same time though, I absolutely adore the process of doing things that make me feel good, so I also like to branch out and try new products on a fairly regular basis (its a healthy addicition, I swear!). One thing I can say I have noticed is that my pimple scars have faded alot quicker than what they generally would - new ones that is, older scars are yet to see any improvement.

Overall I don't really find anything particularly mind-blowing about this skin treatment, but in saying that I'm not upset with having spent money on it.

Tips: Massage into cleansed skin and allow at least 5minutes for it to soak in before using any other form of moisturiser. If you have sensitive skin like me and find that trying new products can be scary (and stinging), I would recommend doing a patch test
