Laser x3 Laser

I was lucky enough to get on another trial for amazing L'Oreal products, this was one i wanted to try with all the ingredients in it, unfortunately for me it did cause a few little spots but the texture and overall appearance is amazing, the skin looked amazing, was just such a shame it was a bit to strong or something didn't suit my skin, and that is ok, as part of skincare, i defiantly love L'Oreal products, and this was so nice to try, and wont stop me trying the rest of the range.

Thank you again

Tips: would test patch for some

Definitely noticed a bit of a difference

I was super surprised to be picked to go on this trial but super excited at the same time. Upon receiving the cream I was a bit gobsmacked that it was aimed at 40 years old plus but here I am at only 35. Nonetheless I dove in face first to give it a go and to see if it could help my slightly aging skin out.

The box is a ruby red which is very eye catching which makes me want to stand up and take notice of it. I read the instructions first which advise to cleanse before use every morning and use afterwards for best results. After seeing the tv commercial for this I was even more on board because the comparison between the cream and the beauty clinic treatment were almost the same.

The jar is red as well with a black twist top lid. It has a white safety lid inside to prevent leaks. The cream smells very fragrant. It reminds me of my nana's face creams and lotions. It isn't a smell I love that's for sure. It is very strong for my taste. The cream is thick and velvety which I do like.

I cleanse my face in the morning and apply the cream afterwards using small circular motions like it advises on the instructions. After applying it gives my face a very greasy just worked out look. It's not one I like. I do like the fact that it is SPF15 which teams nicely with my sunscreen to protect my face even more.

I have repeated this for the past two weeks religiously. I have found that my skin drinks it in gratefully and always feels so smooth and plump after each use. Once I get past the initial greasy look it's great. I do notice that my smile lines around my eyes have become less prominent which has been a bit of a confidence boost. My skin is alot more hydrated and soft to the touch. I also notice that I don't have the dry patches in my t-zone anymore. I think to summarize, I would definitely buy it again because it is a price I can live with and it's a well known and trusted brand. It has improved my skin tone and smile lines a bit. If this can happen in two weeks, I am only too excited to find out what it will be like in a couple of months. Time will definitely tell.

Tips: Put makeup on waaaaay after applying because it can leave a greasy film

Love an SPF moisturiser

I really enjoy the revitalift range (FYI I am 42 with dry skin) I also use the night cream. I like the packaging and have no problem it having no pump or application tool. It's a lovely smooth consistency with a faint smell but not overpowering at all. It sinks it nicely and haven't noticed issues under my makeup. Due to being dry it's not quite hydrating enough for me but I add Hyaluronic acid in my routine. I also like SPF in my daily moisturiser. It does give a little glow but Haven't noticed any chance in fine lines.

Not enough time to review

I love L'Oreal Revitalift products. Like others, this product has such a luxurious feel to it. The cream feels quite dense so you don't need much (and therefore it lasts a long time!). And it smells delicious. I have combination skin that is oily in places and this definitely didn't increase the greasiness in those areas. As for did it live up to its claims, I don't believe two weeks is long enough to see those impacts. Even the TV ad compares the performance over a 4 week period and includes the night cream in the experiment. It has a lovely luxurious feeling though and I would happily continue using it if the price was right.

Makes my skin smooth ....

So far I have noticed how soft my skin is while using every morning after I wash my face. My make up goes on very smoothly afterwards. It hasn't broke me out which is great as usually anti ageing creams make me break out as they are really thick, but this creams texture is just right and easily absorbs into my skin. I can't comment about fine lines disappearing or anything like that but I think that with regular use it would definitely keep the face moisturised

Tips: Rub in using circular motions to help absorb it quickly

Good ole Loreal, oldie but goodie!

Loreal has consistantly impressed me over the years. I haven’t used any of the Revitalift Laser X3 products for a while, i was lucky enough to be chosen to review.

Opening I felt a sense of comfort, with one of those textures and smells that takes me back. Coming in a 50ml glass pot, shrink wrapped package. I do appreciate shrink wrapped products, ensures freshness. Claims to Correct, Redensifie & Even Out. At this time of year especially in Auckland during Jan & Feb, I feel like product is just absorbed quickly and I really need to apply two layers. One layer was enough of the Loreal cream. Another issue is product sliding off, it has been un-expected to discover how well, easy and retained one application of this Revitalift day cream is. It was secondly unexpected that it worked so well under my "go to" in summer which is BB cream or thin layer of foundation then mineral powder. If I was going out at night or wanted to more dramatic look I would use a thicker moisturizer. Added SPF is always a bonus too. SPF15 seems like not too much, but I don’t really need anything stronger than that, 15 has always seen me right.

Has a real lush texture, easy to moisturize in. I really like that Loreal specifically suggest on packaging for which age group (40+ noted on this one). Has some products targeted at me – Pro-Xylane to help correct wrinkles, redensify skin and firm contours, LHA to exfoliate and resurface skin and even out skin tone. I’m not dazzled by “scientific” names and claims; I just go by what product is like for me.

I appreciate that I can use all the product in pot, sometimes those pesky self administrating packs leave me knowing there is more product inside. No breakouts and after using for 3 weeks feel I’d at least have 3 or 4 months left.

I’ve also used with serum and without, I feel the extra punch and staying power is given when using in conjunction with serum. Serum applied first then moisturizer. Serum has been a stable for me for 3 odd years now, morning and night. Always have day and night time regime. The 3X serum works really well with this moisturizer.

Loreal kinda just stays under the radar for me, they are always reliable and always there. There is something for everyone at any age with products suited many skin tones and textures. I do find it hard to part with $47 for this (at Farmers) but won’t hesitate buying both serum and day cream when on special.

I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this product, it’s not offensive, not over the top, it’s just a great honest product that does a great job, even with evening out fine lines.

Great!

My skin is in a pretty good way at the moment. Sure it gets older by the day and fine lines are probably on their way to crevice-land, but overall, its pretty stable. Which means when it comes to a moisturiser I just need a dependable dose of hydration (and maybe a bit of lift)

The Revitalift Laser x3 with SPF 15 ticks all of the boxes for me. It's a rich day cream that is readily absorbed into my skin. I don't need to use much - I do wish I didn't have to scoop it out with my fingers, but that's a common bugbear for me with L'Oreal creams.

After use my concealer and base products sat well - they weren't sliding all over my face which sometimes happens when I use SPF creams.

The added SPF 15 is a great touch, and while I'll still use my usual daily sunscreen with this during summer, if I were to repurchase in Autumn/Winter I think this would be adequate for me.

It does have a scent, so if you are sensitive to fragrance you might want to smell before you buy.

No complaints here!

The Revitalift Laser range is one that I've enjoyed in the past and this product didn't disappoint me!

It is a thick cream, perfect for hydrating dry summer skin (and I imagine for soothing and hydrating winter skin too!)

The cream is scented. It doesn't last long, which I don't mind and it's not a strong smell anyway.

This provides enough hydration that I could use it every morning and not need a night cream.

The SPF makes this even better, I always think it's a shame more brands don't incorporate SPF into their skin care products.

Skin Screen and luxurious moisturiser combined

I am always on the lookout for face moisturiser with a sunblock combined as I am a tad lazy in the morning. My usual finds are great but tend to be more on the lighter side where moisturising is concerned, being over 40 I need all the help I can get.

The cream is lovely and thick and I find the tips of two fingers worth plenty to cover my face and neck. The product melts into the skin nicely and doesn't leave the skin feeling heavy or greasy with sun block. I love the packaging bright colors are always easy to find in my cosmetics bag when I'm traveling. Overall my skin has been left feeling soft and hydrated, I haven't noticed any reduction in fine lines but it's only been a week. I haven't felt the need to use any extra sun block on my face and, even with this very sunny weather at present, I haven't suffered any sunburn.

I will happily purchase this product once my current supply has run out.

Tips: Throw the box into your recycling bin as soon as you can if you dont want a constant reminder that yours is an over 40s product ;D

Day cream with SPF15

This gorgeous day cream comes in a awesome red glass pottle with a metallic blue lid, very nice packaging!! It’s a good size being 50ml. The cream is a gorgeous light peachy colour and has a great but not over powering fragrance. It’s the perfect texture! Not too watery and not too gluggy. I have been applying both morning and night, my skin feels so refreshed and full of moisture after applying! It absorbs reasonably quickly which makes it perfect for under my foundation. I feel my skin is more firmer and it’s definitely helped around my eye area. I also don’t have the dry patches around my nose and on my forehead like i did before. Even though I use morning and night I have so much more left, a little goes a long way. I would happily buy this product again and the fact that it has SPF15 is the biggest added bonus as most of the foundations I wear don’t have that.

Tips: Great for a night cream too
