Since a young teen I have been searching for a fake tan product that worked with my fair completion and sensitive skin. This is the stuff!
It goes on so smooth, absorbs very fast and no streaks! Also doesn't leave me looking like a Simpsons character.
I wasn't a huge fan of the shimmer at first but with the beautiful, subtle and long lasting tan it provides I'm willing to work with the sparkle.
Tips: Make sure to exfoliate before use. I even dab a bit of moisturiser on the real dry bits just to be safe.
I didn't really feel like the gel did anything for me when I first used it but it gets there in the end and does make your legs look great. The problem I have with it is that when I get home from a night out or wake up in the morning with it on I see that it has become streaky at some stage. Not ideal.
Tips: If you're wearing it for a night out, wash it off before you go to bed! If it's streaky in the morning it's going to be difficult to remove.
I got given this as a gift and was really hesitant as it was so runny and I worried it would be a nightmare however the eventuating even streak free light non orange tan it gave made up for the fact that the product dribbled out of the bottle and made a mess. When I am applying tan I like a product that I can apply with ease- this is not it. You turn it upside down and half the bottle comes out. However the colour and smooth even surfacing of huge actual product is great. Smell was distinctive though, but not objectionable. Just not for me because I have discovered a better product.
This is by far the absolute best buildable fake tan I've ever tried. Because it's subtle and the colour is buildable there's no danger of it being too dark and I found that within three days I had the perfect shade of tan that I wanted and then all I needed to do was reapply it every few days to maintain the shade. It's made of all natural ingredients (no synthetic chemicals) and contains aloe vera and vitamin E to moisturise your skin. There's absolutely no danger of turning tandoori orange as with so many fake tans. The colour looks completely natural and from the moment you first put it on your skin glows because this product contains the light-reflecting mineral Mica, which shimmers. This product feels lovely (a smooth, moisturising gel consistency) and it dries super-fast so you can get dressed as soon as you've finished applying it without worrying about it staining any of your clothing. If you're wanting a fast and/or dark tan, use a different product, but if you're happy to build it up over a few days (and have more of a natural look) then this is the ultimate! It's a bit expensive but when I can afford it I think it's worth it.
Tips: The usual tips. Be hair-free and exfoliate before applying and be well-moisturised for beautiful, lasting colour.
I like this is as a gradual tanner coming up to an event but I don't know if i would use it day-to-day, it is quite shimmery. It is nice on sensitive skin though and shows up quite well, although it's definitely a gradual tan, as a few times I put it on in the morning and it hadn't started to show up until the afternoon
I won this as a prize and i was so happy with it. Its is the best fake tan i have used. I love how fast it dries, and i have never had orange streaks from using it.
