Vaseline Cocoa Glow

I am a girl that loves chocolate! So when going to buy a new body lotion, this was a very easy choice! I have used some of the other lotions from the Vasaline range before and have loved the feel and scent of them. I got this one because of the wonderful scent and I really enjoying applying it every day. The pump bottle is great for no mess application and the lotion itself is a great consistency to spread all over the body and absorbs fast. I had a lot of people comment when I was wearing this product, they also loved the smell. It kept my legs especially hydrated all day! Will definitely purchase this again at some point in the future.

This would have to be my all time favourite moisturiser. It smells so delicious, good enough to eat! The simple fact is smells so good is enough to remind me to moisturise regularly. I like that it comes with a pump which makes application easier than having to open a lid with greasy fingers (granted the smaller bottle has a lid/cap thingo). It really moisturises my skin and leaves it silky smooth, it's non greasy and it absorbs into the skin very quickly. The smell lingers for awhile after applied which I love as well. It's also quite cheap and comes on sale regularly.

I love this moisturiser. The cocoa scent smells so good and lovely and it does a good job with moisturising the skin as well. However, I don't know about the glow part of it. I thought at first it will give you a slight tan but the lotion is white and has no shimmer to give you any type of glow at all. Overall, I'd still use this but mainly for the scent and moisturising factor not for the glow.

I avoided the product for a long time because I associated the ‘glow’ aspect of this product, as a tanning aspect, so I thought this moisturizer had a fake tan element to it, which is not for me because I have naturally dark skin, so don’t need any extra tanning help. However, after trying this once, oh I needed it as part of my everyday life.

Firstly, I like the packaging, it’s really simple, and I have never seen brown packaging look good, but somehow Vaseline manages to not make it look bad. The pump is awesome, because I can’t be the only one who moisturisers in a rush, and doesn’t have the time to unscrew lids or anything like that so I’m a big fan of the pump.

The moisturizer is a thick, white lotion which has a lovely light cocoa fragrance to it which I just love. When applied to my skin, it does hydrate it, and provides long lasting hydration, as well as a subtle fragrance which surprisingly lingers for a while. Yum.

So back to the glow. I don’t really get the glow aspect? There is no tanning aspect, but it doesn’t give my skin any fake glow or anything? Maybe the company is refereeing to the glow smooth hydrated skin gives? I’m not quite sure, but I really like the moisturizer and think it is an affordable daily product which smells lovely, and hydrates skin properly.

This smells absolutely like heaven! I do enjoy using this product, as it does moisturise, smell amazing and give the cocoa glow. However it leaves a brown residue on your hands which I really don't enjoy. Would still recommend though.

I grew up with my mum using Vaseline Lotions and now I get it, My daughter and I both use it and My daughter is very fair skin and this doesn't irritate her skin at all, It lasts all day , it's great if you have been in the sun a bit too long as it hydrates well and isn't greasy :)

I have been using this stuff for years ! It would take a lot for me to change, the smell is beyond words. It makes my skin feel so soft for hours ! It's not greasy and a little goes along way, cheap as chips also !!

This will always be my favourite body moisturiser. It's not too thick or thin and sinks into the skin quite fast and isn't greasy. I love the cocoa glow one especially because it smells so amazing and the scent lingers for quite a long time so I smell like chocolate, it's my favourite to use after showering because I feel like it soothes my skin after shaving. I find that this is super easy to find and is always cheap and is on special a lot at countdown

I absolutely love the smell of this moisturiser although i didn't get much of a glow from it, I get really dry skin and this leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturised

This stuff is great to use when you need intensive moisturising. I often turn to it when I have some sunburn that needs a lot of moisture to keep it from drying out. It has a great smell too, especially if you love chocolate. It can get a bit much though if you use too much of the product. A little goes a long way too! It is quite a thick lotion so if you plan on going out anywhere moisturise long before going.
