Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturising Lotion Review

I'm a big fan of Aveeno body lotions for the past few years with the exception of a few bottles from other brands. Aveeno was my to go brand and I stocked up on it and gifted bottles to family and friends and turned them on to it as well. So after years of mainly using the Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion (the blue one), and sometimes Aveeno Active Naturals Moisturizer (the green one) for variety, I decided to try the purple one to give myself a bit more variety. It moisturizes well and keeps my skin healthy and hydrated like the two other Aveeno body lotions but it has a gentle lavender scent with maybe a hint of chamomile. I'm not a huge lavender fan but this was nice for a bit of change. It's not a herbal lavender or strong lavender scent so it suits someone who's not crazy about lavender as a scent but doesn't mind it. Sort of reminds me of Johnson's sort of lavender scents but not as good. It doesn't have any lavender oil added so there's fragrance included in the product. My skin loves Aveeno lotions I have fairly sensitive skin and Aveeno body lotions have never irritated it and suited my skin year round. All around it’s a lovely product, affordable and easy to find. I'll probably repurchase this when I want a bit more variety in my body lotions since Aveeno body lotion is a staple in my body care products.

I can't say I am a fan of the smell of this Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturising Lotion because Lavender is not a smell I like. I decided to give it a go because I have had so much success with Aveeno products in the past.

Firstly the design is quite simple and is definitely recognizable as Aveeno with the hint of purple to differentiate from the other products that look the same. I love that it's a pump bottle, it makes it mess free and wastage free both things I can't stand.

The texture is smooth and rich and easy to apply. I love that it absorbs in quite quickly and doesn't leave a film like alot of moisturizes I know and have used. Once I get past the initial smell of lavender it's quite nice.

My skin starts to drink it in immediately and within mere minutes my skin is smooth and soft and feels more supple. I have stress related skin complaints so was hoping it would help with those. I was pleasantly surprised to see it does make a big effect on them. My redness is nearly gone, my dry skin is smooth and less flaky and it'a great for my sensitive skin. WE HAVE A WINNER!!

All in all I love this Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion and will continue to use it. I just hope that one day they will bring it out in a different scent.

I am a great fan of the Aveeno range, and this one is just as great as the rest, the scent really does relax you after a long day and it's a great go to after swimming and to calm sunburnt skin, all though it's quote pricey, it will deliver in softness and moisture for the full 24 hours, You can really feel the difference in your skin and the appearance looks absolutely wonderful . You get a good amount in the bottles so they are full to the top and the pump delivers the exact amount. It's great for the entire family to use and I think the only trouble I have had is trying to get the rest out when the pump won't. Overall a great anti stress soothing and cream.

I brought this moisturiser before christmas and I needed a moisturiser to take away with me on holiday and before the sunny weather started to peak as I knew I would be shaving legs more and just generally outside more often. It did keep my skin moisturised all day all night in fact One night I was given a compliment about how my skin looked nice, smooth and fresh so I had put that down to the moisturiser by this time I had used it all week. The lotion smell is nice not too strong the lotion itself is not thick easy to apply absorbs well. Easy pump dispenser no mess. I love Aveeno products I have had the facial cleanser because all their products Dermatologist recommend and they do work. I would recommend this product especially if you have dry skin areas and are finding that your normal moisturiser is not keeping you moisturised all day, so you get the benefit of a moisturizing stress relief.

I love Aveeno but find it quite expensive, so when it's on sale I stock up.

At first, I thought this was a stress relief for skin, not mind (whoops) so I bought it because my skin is super dry and can flare up at the drop of a hat. As usual, the lotion is super moisturizing and goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. The scent is really lovely and relaxing lavender so it's good to use this if you shower/bath right before bed! I think I'll stick to the original, unless this is on special and the others aren't.

I bought this on sale as a general body moisturiser. It is a light cream that rubs in easily with a matte, non greasy finish. I use this regularly as it sits beside my chair so I can rub it into my hands at night while watching TV. It's quite a big, handy pump bottle and it seems like It is never going to empty. It does have a funny lavender scent, not sharp and clean but rather a bit musty? The scent lets it down. I also do not feel that my skin is moisturised for 24 hours. My hands feel instantly, in the morning they still feel nice but 24 hours? I don't think so. I don't have sensitive skin so I pretty much have my pick of body moisturisers so I probably won't get this again in a hurry- I'd try a different Aveeno one next time.

This is pretty much the exact same packaging as the normal with a pump that is easy to control so you get just the right amount of product.

This comes out a similar texture to the original, being mid-thick and of a white/cream colour. It absorbs quickly into the skin and really moisturises and leaves my skin soft and nourished.

The claim of this particular product is stress relief. The scent is definitely present and I find it is quite strong for a body lotion and doesn't do anything in terms of relaxation for me. I also find that this formula isn't quite as moisturising as the original.

Overall, I do like this, but I prefer the original more as it does a better job at moisturising so between this and the original, I wouldn't repurchase, however, between this and other brands, I probably would repurchase.

Aveeno is a brand I always buy, as I trust it to moisturise my dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin. I decided to branch out and buy the stress-relief version instead of the original. This version claims to be relaxing and has calming scents, with lavender and chamomile.

The package of this is the usual natural inspired look, I like the look of Aveno products and it just is simple, yet nice on the eye. The packaging just suits the product, simple yet effective.

The moisturiser comes in a handy and convenient pump. I much prefer my moisturisers to come in with a pump, as its hygenic and useful. It's quite a large size and lasts me for months

The formula is nice and creamy -just the right texture to slather across your body. My skin just drinks it up. It doesn't take too long to dry and my skin just feels so lovely and hydrated after using this. The fragrance is nice and pleasant, with the lavender and other aromas coming through.

In winter, this is a must have, as my skin can get dry and flaky. This moisturiser gives me much needed hydration and really is so effective for dry skin and calming for my eczema. Overall, yet another amazing product from Aveeno.

Used this on my child when younger as it would help relax and sleep it's really nice and didn't find it too greasy either which was great
