This is one of a very few soaps that worked well for all skin types in my family. It smells fresh and since it is environmentally friendly, you feel good using it. The soap didn't go soft easily which is great, and you could buy it from the supermarket with reasonable price.

When I first saw this in the supermarket , I was instantly attracted to the packaging. A cool design .
When I tried it I was even more impressed. Comes in your normal soap bar.It felt soft on the hands. I love that it is made from natural products. Smells fresh and clean. You get that lemongrass scent when you wash your hands or body with it.Didn't dry my hands out like other soaps would.
It's definitely made me want to try other products in their lines. I would love to try some lip balms and shampoos as well.
Love the Eco Store products but usually I dont use soap on my skin as I find it far too drying. This soap was lovely though and smelt so fresh!! I like that it uses ingredients that are kind to the environment as well as the skin. I dry mines out on a wooden slotted soap dish so that its lasts a bit longer. I have used it to hand wash some baby clothes by grated it into wash water. It was very gentle on the items and I felt very confident that it wouldn't be reactive on my granddaughter's skin
I was given a bar of this soap a couple of weeks ago and to be honest I wasn't planning to use if. I have always used liquid soap for handwashing and shower gels in the shower. They just seem to be so much better for my skin than bar soap. In the end I gave this a go as a handsoap. I like the fact that the ecostore products are natural and a friend recommended them as I get dermatitis on my hands and ecostore diesn't irritate her daughters eczma. Anyway, I have used the soap only about 15 times thus far, but my dermatitis seems to be at bay which is great. i used to use cetaphil quite often, but this does seem to be a gentle soap and my hands don't feel dry after use. Also bonus, it smells really nice!!
Tips: Keep it on a rack to dry out between uses so it doesn't go slimy and gross
I'm not a soap person, I just never seem to use it and won't normally buy it for myself as I prefer liquid hand and body wash. I received this as part of a gift and in a project pan gave it a go.
The bar is rectangular and quite flat and a creamy colour. It has a lovely clean lemongrass scent which holds both in bar form and when lathered up, which it does really well! I like that it's quite a natural smell with no trace of chemical fakeness.
Performance-wise it both gives a thorough clean without leaving my skin feeling stripped of all it's natural oils, just as promised. While I'm still not the biggest soap fan, if I was to buy a bar this would be top of my list and I'd recommend it as a family-friendly option for all skin types.
I initially purchased this soap on sale at the supermarket because it appeared to be Eco friendly and natural and I wanted such a soap for the kids bathroom. We all love these soaps now. They are s great cheap alternative to the l'occitane verbena soap. I have them all through the towel cupboard and it smells divine. I find they don't last as long in the shower and get more soggy than triple milled bars of soap. I'm a bit anal about shower cleaning and I find these soaps don't leave an icky soap scum like some soaps/body washes can. Skin feels clean and smells fresh after using. I haven't noticed any extra moisturising effects or dryness. Very handy that I can pick them up with the grocery shop and it smells expensive.
Tips: The Eco range is often on sale at Countdown so keep an eye out in the catalogue.
Yum, I love citrus scents. This is a total winner it doesn't lather up to much smells delightful and is non drying to skin. Love it!
I bought this soap after seeing it on Beauty Review and wondering what Ecostore products might be like.
It cost $2.00 on special at The Warehouse. It comes in a plain cardboard box with Ecostore branding – the box looked to be made of recycled paper, which is fine by me. I wouldn’t say the packaging is attractive but certainly sells the point that it is environmentally friendly.
The soap itself is white and square, and stamped with the Ecostore brand name. The flavour I bought is lemongrass, and it has a delightfully lemon fragrance to it, from the lemongrass oil it contains. It’s quite dusty and I did sneeze several times while handling it when it was dry. Once wet however, the bar keeps its shape and is smooth and soft. After using it, my skin feels clean and supple.
I like nice soaps, and this one is very nice. I recommend it to others and will repurchase myself.
This eco-friendly soap seems to last for ages in the shower, and doesn't cause my kids' eczema to break-out. This is now the only bar soap we buy and it's a great price considering how long it lasts and that it doesn't cause any irritation to the skin. And best of all, it's cruelty free and environmentally friendly, as well as locally made!
I am a big fan of Ecostore, having tried most of their range including the body care, hair care and laundry range and this soap is another favourite. The scent is gorgeous and it cleans well without feeling like it is stripping the skin of much needed moisture.
The fact that it is good for the environment in terms of ingredients and packaging is an added bonus as well.
