Sweet and sophisticated fruitiness.

Lashings of blackcurrant and bergamot essential oils in a sour cherry and coconut jelly make this about as fruity as you can get. It is incredibly difficult to resist taking a spoonful.

Instead, take a handful and smooth it over your hair and body. Passing strangers will smell you and find their minds wandering to fruit pastilles.

Lushious

Love the lush range of products, brought a few from their online store earlier this year. I absolutely love the natural fruity smell that this product gives out, and its quite playful. I use this with other plain scrubs as it mixes well together for a a silky all over shower body lotion

I miss you Sweetie Pie.

Last year my partner got me a Sugar Sugar gift box last year. Finally I have been able to try this shower jelly. Never heard of shower jellies until I came across lush. Took me a while to get the hang of jellies , but now I think I've mastered how to use them.

Typically lush shower jellies come in clear sturdy tubs that you can see product through. These kind of tubs can be used for trade for a free face mask. The labelling on it is clear with expiry dates visible. I love the name sweetie pie . It certainly lives up to its name. This jelly is a deep rich purple colour. The texture of it is clear purple wobbly jelly consistency. This jellies scent reminds me of rich blackcurrants and berries sweet fruity bliss that's not overly sweet 'just right '.

With application I tear off a small chunk and place it on my shower puff and it turns into a white bubbly fruity foam. It's fragrance lasts in my shower for an hour or so later. My body feels clean and hydrated. Super easy to use. So far I have managed to get five washes and I still have plenty left.

Lush announced they would be discontinuing this jelly. Oh my heart sank. I have fallen in love with this one. I hope lush will create a jelly with a similar scent. If it was still around I would keep buying it .

Fresh and fun

I tried the Whoosh version of this unique Lush Shower Jelly, which is a green wobbly jelly with a fresh lemony scent (and no sparkles, unlike the Sweetie Pie version). It lathers up nicely, and as you apply it to your skin, the jelly starts to melt. The smell isn't too strong but leaves a light lingering scent. This is a super fun product to treat yourself or a friend to, and I'm sure would also be a hit with kids.

Tips: Pop the entire jelly out of the pot to use like a bar of soap, rather than struggling to break off smaller bits. You can even chill the jelly prior to use if your skin is in special need of a cool down.

LUSH Shower Jelly . . . Sweetie Pie

I repurchase this through their website on the regular. I love the fragrance that is left lingering on the skin. It is very slippery when wet and find hard to handle at times. Does have slight glitter in it but doesn't trsnsfer to skin. And it doesn't dry my skin out which to me is the main thing.

Tips: Break off small amounts to use each shower.

Love the smell

I purchased this purely on seeing it on here and the smell, and well it look's like you can eat it. My first though'ts were that hmm it's not going to last very long, and it did'nt which was a shame :( But i think that could be because i just used too much at a time, But anyway, The consistancy of this product is so amazing, But it was'nt the easist body washing product to control! It left my skin feeling wonderfully soft and baby smooth. I made sure that i didnt leave the lid off so water got in from reading the reviews on here hehe. I loved going to bed and having a lovely fruity scent linger while i fell asleep. Even though i found it difficult to control and wasted quite abit, I would still definately buy it for a shower treat.

Tips: Have a firm grip on it, because it litually is like jelly lol

Ive been eyeing out the shower jellies at LUSH for a long time but always been too scared to get em. Do they "crumble" or just stay the same form but slowly melts away like a bar of soap?

Smells good

I really love the smell of it, my bathroom always smells like it now. It's quite fun to use and is very different to normal soap. I would definitely recommend it to people, however I would recommend the smaller one as the big one which I have can be quite hard to use.

Tips: If the big one is too hard for you to use, you can always cut it in half :)

Wibble Wobble

This is probably my favourite product from Lush. It is a gelatinous purple soap that smells like blackberries (to me, apparently the scent is actually coconut and cherry) and has glitter. You really couldn't ask for a better product to cheer you up as you shower and get ready to face the day.

Tips: It bounces. Bounce it off the shower walls and try catch it. Throw it around. It makes a very satisfying splat, and holds together. Apparently some people like to put it in the freezer for extra indulgence, I haven't tried that yet as I'm too afraid my flatmates will eat it if I do.

Lush Shower Jelly Sweetie Pie

I am in love with Whoosh, as are my two daughters. I thought they would like this more since it is sparkly and smells sweet. Unfortunately the sweet smell becomes overpowering and overwhelming the shower. It is a nice scent but is cloying. I am a sucker for gimmicky bath stuff and love the shower jelly but I will be sticking with the Whoosh scent from now on.

so good I could almost eat this

This stuff is seriously soo yummy. I loved the texture and if it was edible - I'd deff have eaten it rather than used it on my body. Only thing is its a little hard to keep it from falling onto the floor so take a small amount out and try not to let to go down the drain!

Smells Like Goody Goody Gum drops

This was a product from Lush I got as part of a gift set, however before that, this used to be the product I made a beeline for whenever I was in a Lush store. In Lush stores this product tends to be tipped out onto a plate for display and its holds it shape perfectly. But that’s not the reason I use to make a beeline for it. The reason is its just so fun to play with. It’s a jelly in consistency, but a jelly that holds it shape and doesn’t slip through your fingers so it’s a bit more rubbery than they type of jelly you eat, but it still has an amazing wobble, so I think it is pretty clear why this was a attraction at the lush store for myself.

First impressions of this product? Well like I said it’s comes in a jelly form, but its more rubbery than the typical edible jelly. It’s a dark beautiful purple and has small glitter flecks throughout the jelly which just makes this product extra fun. Apart from the fun, the other most enticing aspect of this product is the smell. Oh wow, words can honestly not describe how amazing this product smells. It’s sweet, but not sickly, and has a beautiful smell of candy but in reality the fragrance is meant to be cherry. The smell actually reminds me of a tub of goody goody gum drops and we all know how delicious that smells.

Anyway, I’m glad I got this product in a gift set because it was an item on my wish list, but I really didn’t have high hopes for it simply because it comes in a 100g container, and I thought realistically how long will 100g of jelly last me? The majority of it will just get washed down the drain.. And so I put off using this. However, the day finally came when I decided I need to try this so to use this, I pull a piece of the jelly away, and rub it all over my body like I would a bar of soap. The jelly lathers slightly but not as much as a body gel, and a small amount of jelly actual lasts a long time. I mean long enough to clean all my skin so this product doesn’t just get washed down the drain as I initially thought.

This product describes itself as a mix of a bar of soap and a shower gel, and I have to admit this description confused me. I suppose the consistency reflects that as it is half solid like soap, but half soft like body wash maybe? Other than that I don’t really see a comparison.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this product. It smells amazing, lasts quite a long time and I find the smell of this actually lingers on my skin after my shower so that’s another bonus. It also didn’t dry my skin out at all, and leaves tiny little flecks of glitter over my skin which just looks lovely. I would use this again, and honestly would recommend this to my friends.

Thanks for your review. I have seen this in Lush and often wondered about it. I am absolutely going to buy my own.
