So relaxing

I am pretty sure I received this in the Valentine's Day gift set from lush. This is a decent sized bath bomb like all Lush bath bombs. The colour of sex bomb is pink and purple with what looks like a peach coloured flower at the top of the bath bomb.

I place it in the bath and watch and listen as it fizzes around and watch my water turn a lovely shade of purple. I notice the flower that once looked so pretty now looks like that soggy half wonton that accidentally made the sink.. Not so pretty I take in the scent and I can't really find anything that I immediately notice. Only a woody oriental scent and it kind of reminds me of the lush karma soap.

I think this one is the most relaxing bath bomb I have used I was so relaxed I had to fight myself from falling asleep in the bath scent wise it's not a favourite but for helping me relax so much it's top of the class

Picture Perfect

with a name like this, how can you resist temptation? Seriously, how? because i sure couldnt when i heard about this bath bomb from Lush's range. That and the great reviews, with some people even saying this was one of Lush's best bath bombs.

The bath bomb is pretty. Its a sphere (like the majority of lush bath bombs). The bath bombs is half pink, and half purple with a pretty little flower nestled in the top of the bath bomb. Picture perfect.

It smells well.. like any other bath bomb. I know that sounds stupid, but i couldnt identify any of the notes this bath bomb supposedly has.. but that could be because i kept this tucked away for a long time, and maybe the scent weakened?

Anyway, when this was added to my bath, it fizzes around and turns my bath a soft purple colour, but almost gives it a milky look too. After the bath bomb dissapears, the flower floats around for a 5 or so minutes before it also dissapears.

I have to say, once i added this to my bath, i did smell the notes of jasmine, and that paired with hot milky water makes this quite a relaxing bath.

I have to say, its not my favorite bath bomb, but it is one i enjoy using, especially for those times when i just need some relaxation.

Not so sexy?

I bought this purely based on its name and online meant I couldn't do the sniff test first. I have still enjoyed (too many) products bought from Lush online although I am sure I am missing out on a few nice ones too. This one is pretty from the get go... Pink, purple, a cute wee sugar flower... very feminine! and the premise feeling sexy was even more temptation.

It fizzes so fast it just disappears into the water all too fast (I know... BathBOMB no slow release lol), but leaves the water a beautiful shade of pink. The scent is strong jasmine and clary sage but not as much ylang-ylang as I had hoped (I was wishful that the clary sage would be the underwhelming component as it is not a scent I enjoy).

It was still a nice relaxing bath but I've had better ;) (had to go there didn't I?!)

An ok bath bomb

This is a pretty bomb, there is no denying that and it smells wonderful which is why I picked it up at a Lush store in Chch whilst there visiting.

A sphere of pink and purple adorned with what appears to be pink petals. Once it hits the water is fizzing and twirls around the bath in a dance emitting a milky pastel shade that leaks into the water, the rose petals are in fact soap leaves that once dislodged from the fizzing bomb settle ontop of the water, drifting around you as you submerge yourself into the milky water. Big bursts of rose, lilacs and lavenders envelope the room and although it isn't the most dramatic bath bomb effect it is soft and romantic, leaving you feeling peaceful and calm.

With the bath water turning milky it gives it a crème bath effect that moisturises your skin as you soak, leaving you super soft and supple upon exiting. The only reason it isn't my favourite is it is rather tame compared to the other types that have show stopping colours, fizz and bangs. Also the aroma seems to ebb away a lot faster than others.

Delicious Bath Treat!

Sex bomb is one of my favourite Lush bath bombs for a few different reasons. It smells incredible – it’s the perfect combination of jasmine and ylang ylang which leaves you feeling insanely relaxed, which is exactly what you are wanting after a good bath! The water turns a pretty pink/purple colour the rose petals are left floating in the bath and the water feels super creamy and luxurious. Highly recommend and will always come back to this delicious treat.

Not my favourite but still a goodie.

Not my favourite bath bomb from Lush but its still a good one. I like how the smell wasn't overpowering but i also felt like it didn't have enough of a smell to it. I thought it was really cute how the flower in the middle wasnt a bath bomb and it sat as a cute little flower on the top of my bath water. It left my skin feeling luxuriously soft. I had a wonderful relaxing bath with this bath bomb because of the scents of ylang ylang and jasmine. The only downside for me is that ylang ylang is not a smell im particularly fond of, but it did relax me. It is also one of the cheaper bath bombs at Lush which is always a bonus.

Favourite Lush Bathbomb!

Oh gosh I love this so much. After moving houses I realised I had a lush just down the road from me so I went and bought a bunch of bath bombs and this is by far my favourite. It is is pretty and smells amazing, it smells like jasmine and ylang ylang and its super relaxing for a night time bath. It also has a tiny little flower in it that comes out in the bath after the rest of the bath bomb has dissolved. It turns the bath water a pretty pink colour and the fragrance is nice and soft without being over powering. I feel like the price for their bath bombs is reasonable, especially because of how environmentally friendly the company is, I am more than willing to pay $7 for an amazing bath.

Bombed out!

I was given this by a friend who isn't a fan of Lush! I know right DONUT FACE!! Who wouldn't like Lush, it's life hehe. Anyway I had heard so much about the Sex Bomb before and always wanted to try it. The chorus rang out in Halelujah's when I scored it that's for sure!

My eyes like the look of the pinks and purples this bomb has and what looks like a closed rose in the centre. It's beyond girly and very eye candy-ish. The undiluted smell is very jasmine above anything else. Not sure if I likey but I know that once submerged the smell can let off an eruption of different scents.

I gently let the bomb go in the bath water and wait for the magic to happen and to be shown why it's named 'Sex Bomb'. An array of pastel pink and lilac swirled in my water. I assume it is pastel in appearance because of the soy milk ingredient diluting the colour a bit. The rose bud almost looked like it bloomed out of the water but then quickly dispelled in to rose petals floating in the bath.....yuck! Rose petals are nice but not floating everywhere!

The smell definitely did change a bit. It is very flowery and almost smelled like my nanas drawer. She has drawer paper that has a flowery scent. It is both sickening and too old fashioned for me. Needless to say I did NOT feel the sexy in the slightest. One thing I can't fault is that it definitely did make my skin feel luxuriously soft and supple. That soy milk worked wonders! I didn't feel relaxed because I was furiously fighting with the rose petals to stop touching me and making me think something was crawling on me. In summary am definitely not a fan and 'Sex Bomb' is not the best name for this.

Tips: Be warned there are rose petals everywhere and the clean up is atrocious

My Favourite Lush Product

This was the first ever bath bomb that I picked up from lush and I have been obsessed ever since. It turns your bath water a lovely shade of pink, smells like fresh jasmine and leaves your skin feeling sexy and extremely soft. It is always the first thing I recommend to friends that are trying lush bath bombs for the first time. It really turns bath time into a relaxing and magical experience.

Drop The Sex

This bath bomb has me all confused with it's name "Sex Bomb'. There was nothing about this bath bomb that was "Sex"y. It is more like a flower bath bomb.

The bath bomb Is pink and purple with what looks like a rose in it.Once dropped into the water and dissolved the rose falls apart and petals float around the bath. It looks lovely but the petals are quite slimey not attractive at all. The colour of the water turns a nice pastel pinky purple colour but it defienetly is a softer colour than say what the Intergalatic Bath Bomb is.

I was hoping for a very sensual sexy smell from this bomb but it kinda reminded me of my Nanas house, flowery. I hate to say it but this bath bomb is my least fave. The smell and colour are both quite dissapointing. The smell fades rather quickly too.

One good thing about it, it is rather moisturising to soak in. My skin felt amazing once I had gotten out of the bath and the very next day to. I didn't need to moisturize as my skin was so soft and beautiful!

I'm glad i tried this bomb out but I won't be re purchasing this one again.
