Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser

I bought this about a month ago after wandering in to Lush and asking them if they had a good scrub for me. It wasn't till I got home and read the label that I found it was actually a cleanser.

I'm impressed with how this product works with my skin. The almond is a nice gentle scrub and the fragrance is lovely and fresh.

I don't use it everyday as a cleanser, instead I use it as a scrub every 3-4 days as I don't want to overwork my skin.

This leaves my skin velvety smooth and although I like the product, I'm not going to lie, I find the application a little bit of a pain. Perhaps I'm a little lazy and just want to slap something on, but getting the right consistency takes a little while otherwise it's either too dry or too wet - first world problem though.

Overall I would recommend this product as the results are great. However, I would still say it's more of a scrub than a cleanser and I would let people know about application.

I used Angels on Bare Skin about 9 months ago and it was nice and smelt good, texture wise a bit strange but it did the job. It wasn't for me, as I was looking for something that was a little less delicate and did a better job at cleaning, but this was fine for the time being.

Since I no longer get acne and my skin has changed from an oil slick to dry and patchy with large pores and blackheads in my t-zone, I've been on the hunt for a cleanser that cleans my skin but doesn't dry it out or irritate it. This is it!

It's gentle enough that it doesn't cause my dry patches to flare up and become sensitive, yet cleans my skin beautifully, even around my nose and chin where my blackheads are the worst.

The texture is great and gently exfoliates my flaky skin, while the lavender absolute soothes - once I'm finished cleansing my skin is so smooth and happy!

The pottle is a decent size too (as a little goes a looong way) and I love the way you mix it with water in the palm of your hand to create a paste - so therapeutic! Plus it smells amazing and I feel so relaxed while I'm using it, such a treat :)

I would recommend this to anyone and everyone; it's so gentle and versatile! I've had a couple of friends who use it say that it's been great for their acne too. Such an effective cleanser that's awesome value for money, all natural AND cruelty free - couldn't ask for more! <3

This is my absolute favourite cleanser. I have combination skin where my t-zone gets oily, but all of my skin is dry and flaky and I also get a lot of acne. This cleanser not only cleanses your skin, but also lightly exfoliates and it smells lovely. It's super easy to apply, and comes in a simple black container. You don't need to use much and I find that it lasts me at least 3 months, however I only use it in the morning. I found that after using it for a few days my skin was softer, and after a week my acne was clearing up. I highly recommend this product and have recommended it to a lot of friends who also love it.

I have quite oily skin, prone to breakouts - particularly around my T-Zone. The first time I used Angels on Bare Skin, the difference was noticeable after only a few days. Everyone said my skin looked less shiny, but more glowing. My spots cleared up within a week.

I stupidly changed cleansers and in the first month had huge breakouts on my chin, including cystic acne along my jaw line. I endured for a couple months more because I thought it was a reaction to change, not the product itself.

I've recently changed back to Angels on Bare Skin, and in the space of a week my skin is no longer red and sore, my cystic pimples have reduced in size and my skin looks a lot happier and healthier.

This is now my cleasner, It's gentle but yet does the job and my skin loves me for it! At first i broke out around my chin, But i was trialling 4 different lush cleasners at that stage, But since just using this one for awhile it's all cleared up thank god! Angels on bare skin leaves my skin so smooth and beautiful, i can't stop touching it! Alittle goes along way i find and what's even better that its handmade and natural! Am totally in love with lush products.

I'd stock my bathroom with lush products if I could. They all smell divine. Angels on bare skin is wonderful. Its gentle yet effective. Id use this with the enchanted eye cream afterwards. Feels like a little a real indulgence.

For years and years I had been buying supermarket cleansers with no results. One day I was fed up with not understanding what actually was in the products I use and decided that if I was going to spend $15 at a supermarket, whats an extra $4-5 to try something at lush. Unusual for me, I bought this product not knowing anyone who had used it before and as such had no recommendations for it. But the staff at Lush suggested it for my skin type (somedays dry, some days oily, reasonably sensitive) and low and behold I have found the PERFECT cleanser for me!

To start with, I LOVE the scent. It smells of tea tree and lavender (so if you are not a fan of these you probably wont like this product) - for me it is soothing and relaxing after a hard days work. Secondly, it is not a liquid cleanser (nor is it completely solid). So you need to pull a pea size amount from the container and mix with a little bit of water in your hand to form a paste. Thirdly, this cleanser has a wee bit of a scrub in it - not enough to irritate my skin but just enough to make it feel nice and clean and able to be used daily. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight like I find some other brands do.

The main thing I love about this product is the fact that I have not had anything near a breakout since using this cleanser, when compared to normal supermarket brands. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and revitalised and somewhat glowing! I cannot recommend this product enough (especially for someone with similar skin to I - totally understand that some other people may not have the same results as we all have different skin)!

It definitely calmed down my sensitive skin and reduced my breakouts. The lavender is so calming the aromatherapy aspect certainly helped calm me down before a hard day or after a stressful day. But it did leave a slightly oily feel on my skin, it does contain oils and did make my skin feel moisturised but I prefer my skin to oil free, so I can tone and then add moisture, so it wasn't my thing.
