Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel One of the greatest scents of the holiday season is that of sweet treats like cookies and candies that you just cannot get enough of. Imagine smelling that every day when you lather up to take a shower, and you have LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel. The gel comes in three different size bottles — 3.3, 8.4, and 16.9 ounces — and it smells of bubble gum, vanilla, and cotton candy. The LUSH Snow Fairy gel is also pink and sparkly which just adds to its appeal. LUSH only releases the gel around the holidays, but you can find it among the vast inventory on eBay any time of year. Best of all, all LUSH cosmetics are made with a conscience. The company is against animal testing, uses only organic and safe ingredients, uses only vegan and vegetarian ingredients, and tries to use as little packaging as possible to help keep the planet clean. You can also purchase a sparkly angel-shaped bar of soap in the Snow Fairy scent.

Glittery candy shop explosion...

I was gifted this body wash before Christmas last year... and I really was not a fan!

First off as pretty much everyone knows this is a Limited Edition product sold by the company Lush, when I received it I was totally stoked as I know how much hype this product has everyone I know loves it, and repurchases it once its on sale near Christmas time. I just really don't get it? 1. It doesn't smell anything like Christmas holiday time to me, 2. It has chunks of glitter spread throughout the gel 3. It totally dried my skin out.

The packaging is easy to use, and simple and looks nice in the shower. Price point is more than I would like to spend on a body wash so I'm relieved I was gifted this rather than bought it and been disappointed.

It washes you well and leaves a slight scent behind, but when you pop it on the scrub ball/flannel the entire shower entraps the scent and its so sickly sweet, it put me off! I ended up using the rest of it as a shaving lotion.

I didn't find it moisturised my skin, in fact I feel that it actually made it drier maybe that was due to the glitter in the actual body wash, which also I was not a fan of, maybe if I was 12 or 13.

Sadly I won't be repurchasing this, but it has definitely not put me off Lush at all.

Tips: If you aren't a fan of sweet candy, girly girl scents and want to look like a glitter fairy maybe try a tester size first.

I agree! It smells like a pink icing overload.

bubble bath Flash back memories!

Remember when you were 5 and you had a big bottle of cheap bubble bath?

Well... this product is the opposite of cheap bubble bath! This is a product from Lush filled with organic ingredients, so don't let the pink colouring put you off too much.

I wouldn't spend this amount of money on a body gel but was lucky enough to try it at my sister's house. To be honest it didn't do anything for me. It was like a normal shower gel that smelled sweet. The thing I liked most about this product was that it gave me a flash back memory and had the word fairy in it.

Super Sweet.

Lush's environmentally friendly ingredients and packaging start this shower gel ahead of the rest. I also love the combination of handmade yet professional that is offered in all of Lush's products. The Snow Fairy shower gel is only offered during the Christmas period, sells out quickly and has a cult following among the Youtube and Blogger community. Everything about the Snow Fairy shower gel had to me sold in store - from the glitter to the sweet scent of icing on a cake. I thought that this was exactly what I wanted in a shower gel. Upon actually using it in my morning shower routine, I realised that waking up to the sickly sweet scent of bubblegum, vanilla and cotton candy isn't as appealing as it seemed in the store. During my second week of using the Snow Fairy shower gel, I felt like a kid who has overdosed on pink icing at a birthday party. Alas, I had the massive (for Lush sizes) 16.9 ounce bottle to get through.

If you do love the scent (and even if you think you do, I recommend the smaller size), the formula is nice. A little goes a long way, particularly if you use it with a loofah. The formula is a little jelly like, and clumps together a lot more than The Body Shop shower gel formula. The scent lingers on the skin, and chances are it will mix well with your vanilla based perfume. The glitter is a nice touch, although it isn't visible on the skin. And again, no store can beat the ethical qualities of Lush. Snow Fairy either entered my bathroom as my preferences were beginning to shift away from sweet vanilla, or it pushed me forward towards fruity and woody preferences.

Tips: If this is your first time purchasing, try the smaller size.
