I was sure I'd tried this at a Sephora when I was overseas - I remember the sample I tried as smelling AMAZING and feeling better than any other hand lotion I'd ever tried. I've been kicking myself for not buying it or taking a photo of it so I could remember the brand!
When I saw the MOR Marshmallow on sale at an online shop I was sure that it was what I'd sampled - I bought it.
It's not what I remember the smell being like (however, I might have just romanticized this lotion so much over the months that I don't actually remember what the scent was *lol*) BUT I do really like the scent of the lotion I bought. It's more of a rose scent to me, but not a cloying rose scent. It is VERY strongly scented, so be warned of that - honestly a little goes a very long way. The good news is that it also only takes a little to make your hands feel very nice :)
The texture is really great - it isn't tacky or chalky like a lot of hand lotion- your hands feel great for hours and hours after you use it and the container is super pretty too!
I got the Marshmallow hand cream in a goodie bag and it's my favourite hand cream ever! Firstly the packaging is just gorgeous, like all the MOR products. The pale pink tube, gold lid and logo give it a real vintage glam feel. I have mine displayed on my dressing table with my perfume bottles. The next thing I noticed was the scent. Marshmallow isn't as sugary as you would expect from the name, it's actually quite smoky and sophisticated and very heavy. Using a bit on your hands is enough for people to smell it and compliment you on your perfume! The thing that makes me want to buy this again once it's run out is the consistency. It's nice and thick but not at all greasy and makes your hands feel really soft and lovely for hours. My hands feel better after using MOR than any other hand cream I've tried. I would definitely recommend this as a lovely, luxury product for a good price.
Tips: The MOR scents are very strong so trying a hand cream can be a great way to see if you love a particular scent before you buy the more expensive products in the range - body washes and lotions, candles and perfume oils. I previously tried a hand cream in Belladonna and it was too strong for me and made me feel a little sick so it was good to trial it in a cheaper form first!
