Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation Review

I found about this product when watching Zoella on Youtube. Being a viewer I had to have it! I asked for it for my 18th birthday actually and Mum got it for me. Unfortunately it was to dark for my winter skin so I made it work but eventually bought one as close to my skin tone as possible.

This product is super affordable for what it is. Farmers are always well stocked with this product as well as Kmart. A down side is they don't carry to many colours and they can be quite orange on some skin tones. I didn't have this problem though since both of them matched my skin tone when pale/tanned.

It comes in sturdy glass tube with a orange shimmery lid. Because it's glass it's see through which is super handy when trying to colour match to the right one since you can see the product instead of trying to guess. It also has a pump so you don't waste much product.

I would say this is a light to medium coverage which is perfect for the days your doing errands and want a no make up make up look. I don't typically wear this out to special occasions etc but if I'm popping out this is definitely the one I pick up. My favourite bit is the shimmer in it that makes you look super awake and bright so is also good for the nights you haven't had much sleep! Also don't be intimidated by the shimmer, it's a lot finer than you would think and it definitely does not light your face up like a disco ball or anything.

I find the foundation doesn't last all day but does last a few hours set with powder, which is fine. As I said it's usually what I'd wear to run errands so the last-ability isn't a huge issue for me. I really do love this foundation and is definitely a staple in my beauty collection.

this has to be one of the best drug store foundations i have every used in my life, no joke. the shimmer in the foundation really does "wake me up". and its color ranges are perfect for my skin tone. and gives a seamless finish

I don't know how this foundation does it but it makes me feel so much more awake after applying this. This foundation is amazing as it hydrates your skin as well as making it look super healthy. This product is perfect for a natural look and lasts all day long. Also this smells so good and hydrates your skin all day long. Doesn't leave your skin looking blotchy or cakey but gives slightly more coverage than a BB cream.

Easy to apply and looks really natural without any caking. Lasts all day and does not move. Best coverage is with a brush to give a more airbrushed look,

I love this foundation. For a drugstore price it offers great coverage, lovely finish, nice texture and a glowy dewy look which I really love. Smells fresh too. The shimmer is there but isn't too much - probably notice it more in summer with the sun, but I don't mind that. Easy to apply - the pump allows you to apply less than a full pump unlike other brands where the pump is so stiff you end up getting a full pump whether you like it or not. Makeup in general does not last well on my skin, but with primer this will last a full 8 hour work day.

I love this foundation, it covers really, really well but isn't too heavy. I always set it with a powder and it lasts all day. I have pretty sensitive skin and I find that this product doesn't irritate much at all. Would recommend.

I can not express my love for this foundation enough. Every new foundation I buy I find myself comparing it to this, and with out fail always coming back to this as my main foundation. Personally I like a medium coverage. I have typical teenagery skin so I like it to cover my pimples, however not look cakey; and it does just that! It lasts all day and leave's a pretty dewy finish, and is possibly one of the only foundations I've ever been able to find which is exactly my colour!

I love this foundation and is definitely one of the best drugstore foundations i have ever tried. I love the finish of it as its very dewy and natural looking and it has an amazing coverage without looking cakey. Its a very blendable foundation and glides on very smoothly with a sponge, brush or fingers. Makes my skin look very radiant and blowy which i love especially when i am rather tired and want to brighten up my skin. This product has a great colour selection and i think it has a colour that would match anyone perfectly.

I find this a really good coverage for my skin. I feel as if you need to have somewhat dry skin to use this product and I really enjoy the shimmer that is has in it. It's a buildable foundation and I found that most brushes are able to apply this product nicely though you do have to apply more or less depending on the brush you use.
