Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara Extreme Black Review

I do love to try out mascaras since I have short straight lashes! Note: I don't recommend applying in front of a fan unless your in a hurry as I did this and it dried the mascara super fast and when mascara dries between layers it can be difficult to layer without a bit of clumping so mine did end up looking a bit spidery leggy from the fan hurrying the drying process in the end but this is not a bad product. The formula is fairly wet semi thick and has a smaller more classic brush which I think many would find easier to manage in terms of not getting it on your eyelids by accident especially if you are used to classic brushes or have smaller eyes / lashes. Gives definition volume and thickness with some length but its more a thickening or volume building mascara the idea is you shake this mascara up to keep it fresh longer or from drying out. Shaking also helps to load up the brush. I like that with this one the brush isn't over loaded with product so you have more control of how much product is deposited to your lashes as from the start you won't get a big blob from an over loaded brush so you can customize your look from natural to more voluminous and enhanced. The black colour is intense and this mascara is the easy to remove compared to other brands. The verdict: Nice product for building does what it says but this did not wow me it is not my holy grail but its fairly affordable. Note it does seem quite a heavy tube to carry but the design is over all not bad. I would re use but I prefer lengthening mascaras.
