Rimmel Lasting Radiance Base Regime Reviews

The entire collection is lovely.

It says what it will do on the bottle which is give you a radient finish.

But sadly I am not the biggest fan.

The primer has very chunky glitter pieces and runs quite yellow. This would actually work great as a highlighter however and I may try it for this shortly.

The foundation does stay all day and I can attest to that. Needed a good oil cleanser for remover. Its very glowy but it can make your skin look oily. I applied this a number of ways too - with a brush and beauty blender. Both worked well.

The concealer. Is actually the best out of the bunch. It is very hydrating under the eyes - minimal creasing BUT it wasn't until I was removing it (I tested it with another foundation to see if it would also work well) that I noticed that it was very very glittery. Not great.

Overall? Its a good inexpensive regieme and if you want a glowy look this will do this for you.

I was super excited to trial this range but it was a bit of a mixed bag. I used the primer, concealer and foundation but found the foundation did not suit me, the colour was ivory but very orangey on me. I found it also showed up my pores rather than reduced them. The concealer and primer, however, I found amazing! The concealer matched my skin and actually covered my lines and dark circles and the primer gave my skin a lovely, natural glow. As a full regime, I wouldn't use it but I would use the concealer and primer together for a nice, understated look.

I have very dry skin in the winter so finding things that will work for me can be sometimes hard work but i was very lucky that BR has given me the chance to review these.

Primer - I liked this as a highlighter more then a primer. I wouldn't buy again but i am going to keep trying to see if my opinion changes.

Concealer - I really like this concealer! its got a good brush and doesn't get to cakey on my face.

Foundation - I liked the foundation the most out of all three! its dewy and makes your skin look great! also amazing for people with dry skin

Overall I liked the foundation and concealer the most. I would buy these once they have run out. I wouldn't however buy the primer. Have already recommended to friends.

These products were good, made my skin radiant as it said on the packaging as it had glitter through it to really highlight my skin and make it glow. The primer was great, can be used on it's own or under foundation and felt really light on my skin. The foundation has spf25 which I thought was awesome but the colour was too orange for my liking. The coverage was great though and it stayed on all day. The concealer was great, easy to apply with an applicator wand and really made my under eye area bright. Overall, I did like these products, I loved how they highlighted my skin and the coverage. I'm going to purchase a different shade of foundation and try again to see how I go. I trialled the primer, foundation and concealer from this range together and I loved using the three together - partly because it gave me so much satisfaction having matching bottles on my countertop and partly because they obviously work together really well.

The primer has quite a shimmer to it, which is great for starting a base for an evening out. I love it for that but probably wouldn’t use it as a day to day base personally. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t have a funny smell so all around I think it’s a great primer.

The foundation is epic! I found I only needed the tiniest amount when paired with the primer to get a really even medium coverage - less than a small finger nail amount was perfect for me so this product is going to last! I loved that my coverage lasted all day. I usually wear a light BB cream to work but with this I could put a small amount on and really enjoy all day coverage.

The concealer has a really easy to use applicator to apply under the eye area and any uneven skin tone areas of concern. I found it slightly heavier coverage so again only needed a small amount to get the result I wanted.

All around I really enjoy using this regime and can’t wait to use it on a night out for a full glam look!

The dream team! On their own these three products are amazing additions to your makeup routine but used together say goodbye to heavy make up and hello to a flawless face!

These products really complimented each other the primer made the foundation a breeze to apply and the concealer hid all my uneven skin tones and a wee outbreak all without looking heavy and thick

I’ve not used a Rimmel product in years, not even considered it, well this trial has changed my mind completely.

I loved all 3 products, they compliment each other perfectly. They are a third of the price of what I have been using. I’m now going to check out other products by this brand (I see one of their powders has great reviews). Highly recommend!

These three products are the 3 steps to glowing like Jlo.

The primer and foundation are dewy and apply smoothly. The primer really takes the foundation to another level, and you can use it buy itself to give your skin a boost.

The concealer is really lovely too, and very good at, well, concealing!

I think for the price, you'd be hard pushed to find a better trio to give you dewy skin!

Overall this is a really nice range from Rimmel. I used to use Rimmel all the time in the UK when I was younger, then I sort of moved away from it in favour of more expensive brands.

The concealer: I found this slightly yellow, but under foundation it left my sallow areas radiant and even. I wouldn't use this over foundation.

The foundation: I chose the lightest shade for my super pale skin - it was a great match and I think it warmed my skin tone up a little which is nice. This leaves a radiant, glow finish - if you prefer a flat / matte foundation, this is not the one for you.

Primer: Fantastic! Creates the most perfect smooth base.

My advice? At least try the foundation and primer, if you love the glow finish!

I have been using the Rimmel primer, concealer and foundation together.

I was initially concerned that I would end up with a caked face, but was pleasantly surprised with the results. All the products worked well together and blended very nicely.

I gave each product time to dry a bit before applying the next layer - which worked well for me.

I didn’t always use all three products together - they also worked well independently.

I felt the products were pretty much intact at the end of the day.
