Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup Review

I did not like this one bit! Was hard to apply , didnt get a even coverage. Did not last very long! Felt oily . Hard to get a good color match

I didn’t like it. I found it didn’t have my type of coverage, i didn’t like the texture either. It has a funny smell. I also found that it made my skin quite orange. I used this quite awhile ago but I’ve never bought it again. It wasn’t really a foam either.

I actually have this in my cupboard and hardly use it. Why? Because it feels super heavy on your skin. Its a mousse type feel and its quite creamy and it honestly just feels so heavy on your face. Its great if you need a bit more coverage as it does the job, but for everyday wear its not for me. It goes on well enough and you do need to blend it well around the jawline. It does last a good 8hours at least. As above if you need coverage and you don't mind a "heavy" feeling then its not too bad.

Initially I was drawn in by the idea of a mousse and the cool can, but I found out very quickly it was not worth the switch from my regular Photoready foundation. First of all, it came out in more of a liquid form than a foam. Then came the smell! It is so weird I can't even describe it but definitely unpleasant. Thirdly, the colour. I bought the same colour as my regular photoready but I found this one to look far more orange and it just didn't want to blend nicely to my skin. The coverage was no better than the original photoready and actually made my skin look rather shiny. So all in all, I wish I'd just stuck with the tried and tested original.

This foundation is super easy to apply, leaves your skin dewy looking and fresh without the cakey feeling. It is light so dosnt feel heavy on your face, easy to blend. The only thing I don't like about it is the scent and it does leak out of the bottle quite often. But definately reccomend it.

Love this foundation!It is easy to blend and apply and feel smooth on my face(normal).You only need to give a small pump as it comes out and then foams and you could do about 4 faces with a normal pump.However the smell is not pleasant i just focused on the product but the smell is still horrible!Overall i found it a good product and would recommend it to anyone wanting to be adventurous and look past the smell

I tried this when it was a clearance item because it sounded intiguing, but I had my doubts about it.

It comes in I guess you could say an areosol can and you spray it and mousse comes out.

As a colour, I could find a colour that matched me well, which is always a good start.

To apply it when smoothly on my skin and had good coverage. It was kind of like any other foundation on, it just was lighter and bubbly initially.

The one thing I didn't like was that I went though this foundation quicker than usual, and I do wonder if that is because of the air in the bubbly mousse.

I especially wanted to try this product as the mousse had me intrigued. I was colour matched at a department store and made my purchase. The next morning I was all set to try my new purchase. I gave it a bit of a shake and squeezed the top. Wow! I almost couldn't stop it coming out. It kind of erupted into my palm,enough for a week. Once I cleaned up I applied the foundation but I was not very happy. It didnt seem to settle on my face, it just didnt absorb. The coverage was not as good as I like it either. I was a bit put off by the smell also, it just wasnt nice. I ended up giving it away to my sister but she didnt take to it either. I was really disappointed as I use a lot of Revlon products and I am happy with most of them. I guess you cant win them all.
