As I have sensitive skin and red undertones, this does seem to cover the redness very well for a $5 primer. Although I love a Dewey finish and this has a Matt effect so it’s a pass for me but it does it job

Tips: Maybe build with another primer
Pretty cheap but not too nasty. It’s a good enough primer, I mean you could definitely find a better one, but maybe not for $6. So you get what you paid for.
As for the tone adjusting: it does not work. My skin is pretty evenly toned apart from some redness around my nose and mouth/chin, and a red patch on my jaw. Green is supposed to cancel out red, but all of those areas remained just as red as before, so not really impressed with those claims.
I really enjoy using the e.l.f primers; they're fairly cheap and work well as a primer. However, I haven't noticed a difference between the primers and they don't seem to be very effective for tone adjusting/fixing redness/etc.
They apply easily and feel nice and smooth, but don't really live up to the expectations advertised. However, for the price,I definitely recommend them for a day-to-day primer.
I've had this primer forever. I don't strongly dislike it, but never really find myself reaching for it - is probably time to get rid of it if I'm being honest!
My skin is quite red and this product does not cover any redness at all. It does make my skin feel super smooth and makes my pores appear smaller. However, when I use this over my whole face, or too much, it makes my skin feel quite greasy and just kind of gross. When I use this primer, I use the tiniest amount over my nose and cheek area and it does make my makeup sit nicer on my skin than it would without it. When my skin is quite dry this primer doesn't work for at all, and makes my dry patches more visible. I don't find this primer to make my makeup last any longer.
I think this is an okay primer for the price point, but wouldn't repurchase it.
I bought this as part of an iHerb order and I’m not really sure why? I think I could hear Head Pixie saying “it’s a crime not to prime” as I was browsing the Elf products, lol. Redness isn’t really an issue for me either so I don’t know why I chose the green one? It didn’t appear green on my skin though. This is a really silicon heavy product which does make your skin feel silky smooth but would be best avoided if your skin doesn’t tolerate silicons. I didn’t find this did much so I only used it a few times. I’m not sure how many uses you would get out of this either as it’s really overpackaged and it’s impossible to tell how much is left. Overall this didn’t to anything for me so it’s not a ‘must have’ and I won’t be purchasing it again.
Eww, it is not good. Dried out my skin and made my foundation look oily. The green does absolutely nothing to my redness. Waste of money.
Save yourself $6 and do not purchase this product! It did nothing for my redness as promised and it clung to my dry patches and dryed it out more. Smelt and felt like vaseline was applied to my face
I bought this in an iherb order as it was cheap and I was after some new primers. The green looked pretty interesting and different so I thought I'd give it a go.
As soon as I tried it I thought it felt quite thin and doesn't have the silicone feeling the elf clear mineral primer has. It made my skin smooth but a bit oily, make sure you don't use too much!
I bought this primer mostly to minimize my redness but it did absolutely nothing for that. Once you spread on and smooth out the primer, it's not green it seems clear and my redness is still as prevalent as ever. I'd recommend sticking to the elf clear mineral primer, this doesn't do anything for redness. It might be fine as a primer if you've got normal/dry skin but it felt oily on me.
I bought this with an iherb order a while ago because it was cheap and I'd only ever tried green concealer before. I didn't really expect great things since some reviews I read said it didn't do anything but it looked interesting and I was on a buying frienzy.
Its consistency is quite thin and creamy in comparison to some other primers I've tried. This is quite a different feel to the clear version that elf sells, which is a lot more gel like. This does apply quite smoothly and feels as if it smoothes my pores a bit more. It also helps my foundation blend in more smoothly.
Now onto the colour correcting part... When I used green concealer it's definitely reduced redness, but this one is a very deceptive kind of green. As a blob it definitely looks green but once I smoothed it out on my face all the greenness was gone?! And yet, the redness was still there. Umm ok. Now my redness isn't anything crazy but often the sides of my cheeks are red and a little patchy. I suppose you can say this evened out my skin tone but it really didn't do much in terms of colour correcting.
I'm not sure if all colour correcting primers are like this or if this one was particularly useless. But I definitely wouldn't buy it again. I've better primers that feel smoother to apply and get rid of pores better than this so the colour correction was its only attraction to me.
When I had skin with a fair amount of acne this stuff was great! It helped neutralise my skin’s redness and helped my makeup stay put. It also left my skin feeling soft and velvety. Sometimes I wore it by itself without foundation on top.
Tips: After cleansing and moisturising your skin apply a thin layer. Wear on its own or with foundation.
