I am always on the lookout for new feminine hygiene products that best suit my flow and are comfortable. I came across the Libra Invisible Pads when I was browsing the aisle in my local supermarket one day. I liked the fact that it was flexible and is made to 'hug' your body to make it more comfy to wear. This design also caught my eye among all the pads on offer by various brands. The price is a bit far fetched for a mere ten pads! I expect to pay maybe $4 for that many but not $6.50. It seems I am paying for pretty designs that noone sees when I am wearing it anyway....waste of time!
I usually prefer a pad with ultimate protection and absorbent as possible because for something with hormonal problems at times the flow is more than alot of feminine hygiene products can handle on their own. I do love how the pad moulds to the shape of my body without bunching up or feeling bulky. I often find if I wear a pad they can shed fibres but these ones don't which I like! They are wrapped individually so they are perfect to take on the go and put in the purse for those little emergencies.
I find they are super absorbent and last for a while without it feeling drenched. I change them often for my own peace of mind though to make sure the freshness continues. They need to make them in bigger pack sizes because 10 or 12 isn't enough for me especially for the price. I prefer mine with wings to keep it in place no matter what activity I am doing at the time. I have tried the ones with no wings but find they shift too much and end up feeling uncomfy. They are a great pad for those who love something not so bulky but with the protection you need.
I use Libra as my go to brand, but their pads are probably their weakest point for me. That said I haven't found any better. If you have time to change your pad regularly throughout the day, these pads will be fine. But if like me you try and get most of the day or night out of them, you begin to find leakage problems. Note: that is with or without wings, but wings are slightly better.
I'm not sure about the whole body fit thing, but in terms of the thickness of the pad compared to other brands, it is less thick which does make it feel closer to invisible and certainly less like a diaper.
Basically, these are the best pads I've found, but they are definitely not invisible in any shape or form. Nor would I call them body hugging.
Tips: If you haven't read them, read the facts they are really interesting. Like for example; did you know a strawberry is the only fruit to have its seeds on the outside. I love reading the facts.
