Hotties Heat Patches

I liked these patches, it was really nice to have a direct source of heat where I wanted it. It also gave me a bit more freedom to walk around and carry on as usual instead of having to sit there with a wheat bag or hot water bottle. I liked this product but I would probably not purchase them often as they are expensive.

Really wanted these to work...

I had such high hopes for these but they did not live up to their promises and I will not be purchasing them (I tried them through a free sample). I found that they felt weird and uncomfortable on my skin and didn't really heat up to a temperature that did anything to relieve pain/discomfort.

They are also quite expensive for something that you might be using quite a lot.

Tips: Reading through the other reviews, it seems that they did actually work for a lot of other people, so I would probably buy them once and give them a go as everyone's body is different and they may just work for you.

Hotties on the go!

I personally suffer from regular pain in my stomach so I am always on the lookout for new things that can help this in a discreet manner. The Libra hotties are discreet but if the sticky back stops to work and it falls out of your top it can be awkward explaining to people that it isn't a sanitary pad you don't know how to place properly!! That was the problem for me, the stickiness. I wish the heat and sticky back were stronger. The idea of them and what they do it great though so with some modification I reckon these heat pads would be bought regularly by woman with tummy/back pains and Endometriosis.

Tips: Use your own sticker on the back of them to hold them in place or place a belt over top of your top with one underneath in the same position for extra support! :)

Gimmicky

I received a sample of these a little while ago and thought they sounded like quite a good idea. I personally would not waste my time and money on them though.

Firstly, they are not hot enough! Luke warm best describes the temperature I experienced and that is not going to relieve cramps.

Secondly, they were not sticky enough and kept falling off which was annoying.

Tips: They would be better if they were actually hot.

Libra Hotties Heat Patches

I received a free sample of these. I do not suffer from period cramps however I thought it might help with sore neck or upset tummy as I would normally use a hot water bottle. It didn't really help with either. You can feel the warmth through the pad however it is just a mild warm and your body adjusts to it pretty quickly and you no longer really feel it. I did like the fact that you could stick it on your body and walk around without worrying about it falling off but that was about the only thing I liked. These are ok but not great

I love the idea of this. If you have bad cramps or anything like that and are on the go, this is a must. Although at home there are better ways such a wheat bags. But will deffs tell my girls about these for when they are not in the home... I guess?! =]

Tips: Use it when you're out and about. Enough said! Xx.

Libra Hotties

Warmed up well but not as good as a wheat bag.. Got really irritating from the adhesive. Worked well for a good 30 minutes before it started to come away

Tips: Wheat bag

Great for relief when lying down.

I tried these despite reading not so great reviews and couldn't understand all the bad press? I had VERY bad cramps to the point where I was crippled over in bed and we near thought I had appendicitis, ended up in the ER everything.. So I started using these when I went to bed. These gave me very comforting relief and got nice and hot.. These stayed hot for about 10 hours and I was actually able to use them 2 nights in a row as they heated up well again.. But just lost their stick.. I think people don't realize you need to play around with them a bit first before applying them to get the producted 'activated' so to speak. I think these are great if your in intense pain.

Tips: Great for pain relief and comfort when your lying down. Definitely help!

Good luck with trying them again ladies! No endometriosis here, just a really nasty gallbladder issue which im finally getting addressed - its very crazy how stomach issues create all sorts of phantom pains =(

Sounds like something I need to try when T.O.M arrives. Will give them a go, hopefully they work as well as they did for you :-)

It sounds like you have Endometriosis too! I will try them again in bed but it's a shame they don't work for me when I am walking around because of not enough 'stick'. Thanks for the review.

Hmm after reading your review maybe I will give them another go - perhaps I had "user issues" rather than product issues!

That's really interesting. I did play around with mine quite a bit to try to "activate" them, and they still didn't seem to get very hot. Maybe I have to try them again :)

Need more heat

Got these as a free sample and have to admit as I don't have cramps anymore thought I would stick it to my shoulder which I have alot of muscle ache from but no think I will stick to my wheat bag. I actually got one for my son's girlfriend and she said she will stick to her hot water bottle.
