NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

I have trouble with perspiring, I never smell but I sweat. I was impressed with this deodorant 1. It kept sweat away 2. The smell was pleasant - however a nutial smell would be good doesn't over power your purfume then. 3. I would use it again.

I'll preface this with my own truth: I'm an excessive sweater. Due to temperature instability in my body, whenever I get mildly warm, I'll sweat. A lot.

I also have a lot of anxiety and sweat a lot as a response.

However, the places where emotional stress sweats is often different to excessive sweating.

When I got the product I thought there was no way in heck this spray was going to make it into my daily aresenol against sweat.

I'm hugely impressed! While I wouldn't say this product is as effective as the Rexona Clinical Protection, the spray is pleasantly suprisingly strong and effective.

What I Liked: *antibacterial -- I know this means that I've got a better likelihood of stopping the bacteria breeding

* Zinc -- natural and effective.

What I Didn't Like: Aerosol -- while I know that things have changed and aerosols are no longer as damaging to the environment, I don't like them. I also feel you waste product. This has a huge spray area so I'm worried most is lost to the environment.

* The fragrance -- More and more young women are being diagnosed with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and overuse of fragrance is a key issue. While I know they want to disguise the natural smell of the product and make you 'feel pretty', I didn't like the fragrance. I felt it could be toned down, or even offered with a more natural scent, like tea tree or ginger.

I found the aerosol dind't provide the sort of protection I would need under my arms, but it was fantastic between the breasts (large DD versions) and around the neck.

I think those are areas that are more typical for stress sweating and I found the product excellent.

I offered the spray to my daughter (8.5) and she enjoyed it as well. Deodorants are more for 'show' at her age but she felt the product was a good one. It wasn't sticky, it wasn't smelly and it left her feeling dry under her arms.

I wouldn't say it would replace product for excessive sweaters but I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it in addition to your daily care routine or for those who are going into an interview, giving a speech or even a bit date -- it will definently keep your stressful sweating areas dry.

Good deoderant but isn't as good as it says it is. Doesn't protect as well as it should otherwise it was okay.

I don't use deodorant often because I'm not the type to sweat a lot, even when the weather is unbearably hot. So this deodorant didn't have to be of amazing quality to me - I wouldn't complain as long as it was on-par with other deodorants. Now, I can tell you that it's better than most of the deodorants I have used; It doesn't stain, it drys instantly, and it despite what other people have to say about the fume, I think it smells quite nice as well. However, it didn't completely prevent me from sweating. I was simply walking down the street in a normal, everyday summer weather, and I could feel my underarm getting sweaty really quickly. I couldn't feel any difference. Maybe I've applied it the wrong way, or maybe I didn't apply enough (which I highly doubt) but the fact still stands that it didn't do it's job properly, and for that I'm really disappointed. I will probably recommend this to other friends if they want a fast-drying deodorant, but not for it's quality.

A great refreshing spray that that kept me sweet, even when I was under pressure and rushing around like a headless chook on one of the hottest days this year!

I am not normally an aerosol deodorant person. I find the smell quite overpowering and there is always the sting factor! I was quite surprised with the Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant as it was fast drying, not at all sticky and there was no sting. Initially, the scent was intense which put me off a bit but settled a few minutes later. I used it before going to bootcamp and found it definitely did what it said it would, kept me relatively dry and odours at bay. I found the next day the scent was still there but I don't think it would last for the full 48 hours, definitely 24 though. I would use it again before an intense workout but I don't think I would use it everyday.

As a performer & entertainer who regularly puts themselves into extremely anxious situations where the pressure is high and the nerves are jittery, I was very interested to try this product and see if it would stand up to one of the most stressful situations a person can be in. The audition room. The timing of this trial was perfect as the product arrived right before a pretty big audition for a lead role in a Musical, so did the product deliver?

I would say, it was generally very good. It had a pleasant fresh smell and didn't leave any marks on my clothing. However I'm not sure it's one of the best products on the market, but definitely the best I've tried in the Nivea Range. I usually prefer a more clinical strength deodorant, but if you love Nivea products then this will probably be just the ticket! I would say if you were an extremely heavy sweater though then this product may not be the best on the market. But for every day use, for the every day sweater......I think it would work for you, keeps you dry and also gentle on the skin

I don't usually use aerosol deodorants but this one did work and I would probably try it again. It had a pleasant smell when first applied but did not seem to last long. I could not say it performs any better in stressful situations as this was not tested. I'm still not convinced aerosol deodorants are good but would be willing to purchase this and give it more of a chance.

Easy spray on, with no stinging. Had a pleasant smell upon application however I did feel that there was an odour after sweating. Did not irritate the skin and I have sensitive skin and it did not leave any white marks. Reapplication was required after exercise.

I liked how this product work at keeping me protected, but the scent of the product put me off. Didn't stain my clothes.
