A'kin Roll On Deodorant

I really like the scent of this deodorant, very sweet and refreshing. This has a secure, screw on cap and glides easily on the skin. This did well during my intense gym session. Very pleased with this natural deodorant and no white marks on clothing. It doesn't contain aluminum which I always look for in a deodorant.

I've tried so many natural deodorants due to my sensitivity to aluminium, and I recently got a chance to try A'kin's Roll-On Deodorant in Lime & Orange thanks to Beauty Review.

So far it stands out for several reasons.

Firstly, it's a game-changer in preventing those embarrassing white marks on clothes – a relief, especially when wearing dark shirts. The liquid form makes application swift and hassle-free, and it absorbs quite fast.

The scent is subtle and refreshing, nothing overwhelming. What's more, it effectively keeps me odour-free throughout the day, a great improvement compared to other natural alternatives. For those with an active lifestyle, a reapplication might be necessary. I prefer to use a body mist along with it to be sure I smell good during the day.

Its compact size is practical for carrying in the handbag. However, it's worth noting that the price tag is on the higher side compared to other deodorants. But I prefer to pay more for better, non-toxic protection.

I'd definitely try the other scents.

This is an easy roll deodorant. I have sensitive skin and I've had no issues or rashes with this product even after shaving. It's soft and kind. I tried the rose and mint fragrance. The mint gives a fresh fragrance that last a few hours. The deodorant dried quickly before I got dressed. I had no white marks on my clothes. I like that this is eco friendly with recycling the packaging and that it's natural. I would buy again.

I tried to like this, I really did. Alas, this deodorant left me smelling bad after a couple of hours. It wasn't pleasant. I wasn't even doing anything that strenuous. I've had to switch back to my usual, as this does nothing for me. I'm gutted that it didn't work, I had high hopes going into it.

I have been testing this deodorant out on all of my black work clothes and it actually doesn't leave white marks! It's really good usually I'll put deodorant on and then put my top on and it just smears everywhere. I got the Lime & Orange scent and it's lovely not sickly sweet and not over powering but enough scent to notice it and it just smells fresh, I really want to see the reviews on the Geranium & Wood scent because I would really like to try out that one next. I only had to apply first thing in morning and had no odor at all by the end of the day, as for sweat I think I still did sweat a little bit but not alot and it just made the deodorant feel just a bit sticky almost but overall I am really happy with this deodorant it works leaves no white marks, smells fantastic and pairs nicely with some of my more sweet citrus purfumes and it's natural. The packaging for this one is ok it's just a standard deodorant but serves its purpose and functions well. I think this is up there with my favorite the Weleda citrus. My Weleda only just beats this one because the citrus scent in that one is a bit more creamier. That's just a personal preference in scents but A'kin is a winner for me!

I received the lime & orange scent. It is pleasant and you can identify the lime & orange but not so much that you're smell like your local margarita fruit bowl sitting at the bar.

I have to admit I've been using natural solid deodorants for quite a while and I was a tad disappointed that the deo is liquid & in a plastic bottle. Yes the bottle is recyclable but I always worry that my recyclables will still end up in some landfill somewhere.

With the warm February weather and working in a classroom it has stood up to the test. No sweat marks and no staining white marks on my tops either. I also go straight to karate 3 evenings and do not reapply and yes it's still working. I don't seem to notice any odour so that's a huge win.

Also it didn't quite support me when I was having to endure being the passenger of my teenager going for some driving practice lol.

Using this was the push I needed to swap to natural deodorants. However it is a big change from using aluminium deodorant. I have been wanting to swap to natural for a while as I have done it before and now being pregnant I am trying to be as chemical free as practical.

The smell is slightly over powering at first but once you get used to it it’s really fresh and a nice scent once on. Packaging is cute. For me personally it definitely was not 24 hour odour protection, I find myself having to apply it 4-5 times a day otherwise I do start to get that sweat smell. It takes some getting used to having to apply so often and also because it’s not aluminium deodorant I did feel damp under my arms for most of the day however if i was on top of reapplying there was no smell involved. I would argue quick drying also as for me it took a couple of minutes to be able to then put a shirt on in the mornings. I haven’t had any white marks on my clothing which is great. Overall I disagree with being 24 hour odour protection and quick drying however I do think it is a good product and I will continue to use it.

I enjoy trying new natural deodorants - as someone who can be a bit allergic to deodorants with aluminum, it's always nice to find new options! I tried the rose and mint scent and really liked how it smelled - clean and fresh with a slight hint of floral. I found that it did a reasonable job of keeping me fresh all day, though not to the level of standing up to a spin class! Nevertheless I really enjoyed this deodorant and would love to try the other scents too.

I was grateful to be a part of this trial as I prefer natural deodorants. The scent is nice not sickly sweet more bitter which I like. This did not irritate at all and I actually tried this after shaving in the shower. I don't suffer from a lot of sweat and body odour and found it worked well. There's no signs of white marks when the clear mixture dries off which is a win. I hope this becomes available in the supermarket with a larger customer base.

I was very very excited to review this- I have a skin condition that can be worsened by using regular aluminium anti-perspirants. I loved the packaging and scent, and really enjoyed it the first time I used it, however the following 2 days I trialled wearing it all day on a busy active day to see how it handled summer sweat, and unfortunately after about 3 hours my underarms were smelly and this was quite embarrassing as I was out all day. Hopefully someday I can find a non aluminium deodorant that can do the job. I will still use this for less active days and it might be better for winter use (:
