Dove Clinical Protection Roll On Anti-perpirant Deodorant

While looking for my fave deodorant at the supermarket (Rexona clinical protection) I couldn't find it, I had 2 grumpy and tired children with me so grabbed this one, I was disappointed and I couldn't bring myself to use it because I wanted my beloved Rexona!

I have this in the cucumber and green tea scent, I love this scent it is so clean and refreshing, I also love the soap in this range it's very refreshing and just reminds me of summer.

The packaging of this is the same as the Rexona clinical, with a twist up dial on the bottom and the white paste comes out of some holes at the top. The label on the front states 48hour protection, sounds good to me! I do find this easy to apply and I find it dries a lot quicker than the Rexona. I really love this deodorant because it doesn't irritate my pits if I shave or wax more than I really should and they don't feel all dry and itchy.

I am not generally a big sweater but since it has been crazy times at work in the warm weather I have been getting a bit sweaty and this has had me covered my armpits and dry until I shower at night..PERFECT.

Would I buy again? Yes this is now my favourite (sorry Rexona) it is on the dearer side but it is worth every cent knowing that I'm covered and it's non irritating.

I work closely with people so I need a great deodorant. Initially I found the twist thing a bit of a pain to get deodorant out, but once I figured it out it was great. Totally recommend this one, lasts for 24+ hours. Not a whiff of odour from me. And that gives confidence.

Good protection lasts all day keeping me fresh. A fantastic roll on product that actually works for once . Very impressive.

This is the only anti-perspirant I've used over the past three years. I like this one because it's free of aluminium chloride, which is something I'm allergic to and it has a nice clean scent. I almost always go for the green tea and cucumber scented one since it smells good in the morning, but at times it was sold out or not on special have bought the original clean scented one instead. This deoderant has a creamy consistency when you apply it but it dries to a powdery feel and most of the time I don't get white marks on my clothes, although having your top on prior to application is key. As an antiperspirant I find it working most of the time and other times if only slightly helps me not to sweat as much. I guess after a while your body becomes accustomed and it doesn't perform as well but I do find that if you take a few days to a week's break from using it and use some thing else when I come back to using this I notice the anti-perspirant seems more effective against sweat and body odour. I don't plan to stop using this deoderant anytime soon but I do plan to rotate it with couple others so I get the best results.

I was really excited when the clinical strength antiperspirants started coming out as regular antiperspirant has never worked well for me, I always sweated through it by the end of the day and I hate that feeling!

This product definitely keeps me dry all day. Sometimes thats really all you need, job interviews, special occasions etc would definitely benefit from a surefire dry result.

I have however found that it can irritate my skin and leave me with itchy underarms. Unlike other products it doesn't wear off by the end of the day meaning it's still there when you sleep, and when you get in the shower the next morning. I try to wash it off with soap and it doesn't really budge. Meaning I don't feel comfortable using this everyday because I don't want to load up my skin with layers of product.

Overall this product definitely keeps me dry, which is the intention so I will continue to use it when that's really important to me i.e important occasions, very hot days etc but I may use another, weaker antiperspirant as an alternative also to give my skin a break.

Dove Clinical Protection is hands down, the best deodorant I have ever used. I have been using it for the past two months and no longer fear the dreaded sweat patches on my cotton tops!

The deodorant is packaged in a slim, oval roll up device. When you twist the dial at the bottom, the product comes out the top in small white blobs- I really like this because you have a visual of how much product you are actually using. It has a gentle, powdery smell but does not feel powdery on the skin. The deodorant dries quickly, leaving no trace but be careful to let it dry before dressing, otherwise it can leave white patches- luckily I am only talking a minute or two to dry! I can confidently say that this deodorant keeps you feeling dry and smelling fresh for the entire day- something I have never been able to say with any other product. I believe that at $14.99, it is priced well as it lasts roughly two and half to three months, with once daily application.

This to date is the only deodorant that I have used that keeps me dry. The packaging is nice, the scent is not over powering and it actually works. The only thing I don't like about it is that I do need to apply it well before putting a top on ie singlet first until it dries. Once dry however it protects all day and I know I don't have to worry about it.

this is slightly more expensive then a normal deodorant but I have to say after 2mnths of use its definitely worth the money... i usually buy the rexona clinical but im finding this one a bit more gentle on skin.

i use at night before bed gym first thing in the morning and its still brilliant all day!

I have only recently purchased this roll on as I was looking for more protection because my schedule has got much busier. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and it does do what it says it will. I feel fresh and clean even after an hour at bootcamp! But the main thing I noticed is how much drier under my arms are. Usually after working out or a long day I get damp under the arms. That doesnt happen with this deodorant. I usually only apply once a day but twice when I shower after the gym. Cant say I've noticed any difference in my skin just yet, but it is early days. I am a bit put off by the price though. It does do what it claims but seeing as its a product you wear every day, the cost would quickly add up. I think if you're a person that sweats excessively, or just doesnt want to worry about sweat patches, then you would love this.

I got this to compare to my Rexona clinical protection deodorant (which I love!). This does a great job at keeping me dry (just like Rexona) but not as good a job a keeping me smelling fresh.

I still really like this deodorant and it is far better than most spray and roll-on deodorants I have tried but it just doesn't beat the equivalent product produced by Rexona. I would recommend the Rexona one over this but it is still a great option just not the best.

I also prefer the scent of the Rexona one to the scent of this one which smells the same as dove soap.
