Body Crystal Fragrance Free Deodorant Review

I will admit I purchased this a little sceptically as I have used quite a few natural deodorants that just have not delivered, but this turned out to be well worth it! It didn't stain my clothes like many of those white ones you buy,and worked really really well at keeping me odour free! I like that it had no smell as when it comes to natural deodorants many of them use essential oils and some can be too overpowering! I also recommended to my best friend who bought one too and is loving it!

I remember leaving home and going on a "healthy me" phase, I purchased a body crystal for around $15 at the time, it was a whole new concept to the normal roll on deodorant, with this one you have to wet the surface before rolling it under your arm pits, it does feel strange because its not as smooth and soothing as normal deodorants but it does work! I would compare it to a hard rock and rubbing it under your arms, it kept sweat at bay especially in Summer and it lasted a lot longer than the average roll on.

Also being a big fan of black, it never leaves any residue or marks on your clothing, back then it was so hard to find a deodorant that didn't leave any marks. It has the tiniest salty smell which doesn't overpower any perfumes that you wear.

This is a fantastic deodorant and goes above and beyond on what it says it would do. I realised I used less deodorant when I was using this because it did the job the first time and I didn't have to keep re-applying thru the day.

I love this crystal stick. I have not seen these around or talked about even. It should be more readily available. This is the best I've ever used for getting rid of b.o and so natural. I'll be getting this for my soon to be teen. So much better for their sensitive delicate skin. And won't clog the pores

I bought this in the mother's day beauty box . Normal looking roll on deodorant ion a white container with lavender colours of crystal shades and lavender and black writing. With 80 mls this is a generous size and has a good screw white opaque top.The ball roll freely with plenty of product. Not tested on animals and made in Australia .I miss a scent as this is scent free however this is a good product. I get hot really easily and I found using this deodorant really good and definitely left no white stains on my clothes.At $13.80 it is a little dearer than usual but as it is a natural product and a good size I feel it is value for money.

I have tried many natural deods over my life.....this one does what it says, i am a heavy swetter and find most natural deods work for a while but not all day - body crystal rolls on well but can feel a bit sticky so i give it time to dry before getting dressed. I havnt had any yellow marks on my clothes either.

I go to the gym every second day and using this product I found I wasn't as near as sweaty smelling as I normally am. I enjoy the fact that it has no fragrance which prevents body odour and fragrance mixing together which is still unpleasant. I would definitely buy this product again as it stops the body odour directly from the source of perspiration instead of covering it up like other deodorants.

I have repurchased the unscented spray version of this. I like to use this before bed and also on feet. The pros of this is that it kills the bacteria and so although you will sweat it won't stink or at least not as much. This is good for bedtime when you aren't going to move around but don't want to wake up with stinky armpits. I do find that when I spray this on at night my deoderant works better the next day. The spray is also handy for feet if your feet get stinky and sweaty then spraying this on them and leaving them to dry for a few minutes helps to lessen the foot odour you get when your socks come off. I wouldn't recommend this in place of a anti-perspirant as you will be left down if you wear this to the gym or to work, but this is like a boost for your regular deoderant you can wear this underneath it overnight and the next day your deoderant is more effective. Sometimes I overheat I at night and I have to wash my armpits before applying my deoderant in the morning but this helps my deoderant be more effective most days. One bottle lasts me many months so definitely worth the price.

I have tried a lot (!!) of the more natural, aluminum free deodorants over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion.

I got it from Healthpost for about $12. It has a delicate and pleasant floral scent, is really easy to apply (roll on) and does a pretty good job of keeping me smelling fresh and feeling dry.

I work outside in the heat and this really does work (although I am not a huge sweater). I highly recommend this and will be buying again.

Love this deodorant! I hardly perspire at all when wearing this which is awesome. Doesnt leave any colour stains on clothes which is a massive plus. It smells lovely and soaks into your skin quickly. Very effective and would definitely reccomend to my peers

This was a BR Vault haul item for me (from the May 2016 vault) but I only opened it two weeks ago.

Upon the first application, I realised that the roller ball doesn't roll very smoothly. I had to press really hard (not ideal) and roll vigorously just to get a little product out before the ball got stuck again. I put this down to it still being new but I'm now two weeks in and I'm still battling to roll the deo on under my armpits! I must have a faulty roller ball.

The actual deodorant is unscented and smells slightly salty and mineral-like and it does sting ever-so-slightly on freshly shaved armpits, although there was no irritation after it had been applied. I like the fact that it's unscented and it doesn't compete with my perfume or scented body lotion.

So far, it's working well for me (on days when I can actually get enough product out before I give up), although there has been a day or two where I've rolled the deo under my armpits, thinking that it's dispensed product only to find later in the day that I don't think the ball moved at all as there hasn't been much protection and I've been a little smelly at the end of the day. Thankfully, the weather is still pretty cool and my perfume has sort of covered me. I'd hate for this kind of rollerball fail to happen in summer!

Would I buy it again? If this rollerball doesn't sort itself out soon, I'm going to have to buy another one just so that I can see if I actually have a faulty bottle or if they're all like this.

Would I recommend it? I'm not sure. It's hard to tell if the product is decent when the dispensing mechanism is being extremely temperamental!
