This was the first baking soda toothpaste I used and I just can't get used to the taste. I like the minty, clean feeling after brushing and I just didn't get that with this toothpaste.
I also feel that it didn't do much in terms of cleaning or whitening. It didn't seem to remove stains particularly well.
I really wanted to like this but unfortunately I just don't and would prefer my colgate one
Red seal baking soda toothpaste is my go to. My teeth are whiter and brighter. As a tea drinker the stains aren't completely gone but they are certainly better! I thought that the taste would be horrid but I was totally wrong. It is pleasant and definitely worth it. Bit more than your average toothpaste but I always go back!
Tips: Use morning and night!
My whole family use this and love it. Its guilt free as I know there are no nasty chemicals added. It has a unique minty taste that takes a few days of brushing to get used to, but now I find other toothpastes taste intolerable. I have noticed a slight change in the colour of my teeth, for the better, but nothing drastic
I loved this toothpaste! Not only did it have a great fresh minty taste it removed stains from my teeth very well and made them heaps whiter. I felt like my mouth was really tefreshed after using it and clean and my teeth were a few shades whiter. I would highly recommend this toothpaste.
I was looking for a toothpaste to clean my teeth more thoroughly and have been very happy with the results using the baking soda paste . I find my teeth feel cleaner and my mouth feels fresh . Some of the pastes have too strong a taste and irritate my tongue but I found this paste to be great
Tips: Doesn't need too much
I got a couple of the ‘baking soda’ toothpastes when the red seal range came on sale. As you already may have heard of the great uses of baking soda as a household cleanser for removing stains, this was the reason i decided to try this baking soda toothpaste on my stubborn yellowish teeth.
Not sure if it’s because i have big teeth, but after using a whole tube of this paste (Brushing twice a day), i didn’t notice any significant difference. And no surprise, the taste was just like what it said it was, like ‘baking soda’.
Although the taste was quite unique.. i didn’t totally dislike it... and eventually.. I got so use to the taste that i didn’t even notice the baking soda taste anymore... Although there’s none of that minty after brush, It feels like you’re using toothpaste with less chemicals (feels more natural). I will definitely repurchase and try it for the long run, if it ever comes on special again. Hopefully i will eventually have nice white teeth ; D
I love this toothpaste! I makes my teeth feel super clean and minty fresh! I have been trying out more natural options for toothpaste. This is mainly because I react to SLS (soduim lauryl sulphate). In toothpaste this leads to me getting tiny little spots in the corner of my mouth. Sadly this toothpaste does still contain SLS (unusual for more natural options) So sadly, although I looooooove using this, I won't be repurchasing unless they reformulate it without SLS.
I was given a pack of this product for free via an expo and fell in love with it straight-away! I love the minty flavour to it - other well-known brands have really strong mint artificial flavour which I am not a fan of but this one is very balanced. I am a heavy coffee-drinker hence I have few stained teeth and this product definitely whitened my teeth after just several days of usage. The great thing is this costs less than those leading brands but it does the job better!
I’ve used Red Seal for vitamins but this is the first time I’ve tried their toothpaste. I like their focus on natural ingredients.
The packaging is simple and looks stylish for a toothpaste. I like the idea of baking soda, as a coffee drinker my teeth tend to get stained quite easily.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste- it’s not as minty as Colgate or sensydyne. I didn’t see much difference difference with the stains on my teeth and it didn’t make my teeth/ breath feel as fresh as my usual toothpaste.
Unfortunately this toothpaste isn’t for me. I will stick with my usual Colgate from now on.
I used this for around a year. I wanted to be fluoride free. I hated the taste and so did my kiddies. It doesn’t leave your breath feeling so fresh either as it has a funny aftertaste. I also had to get so many fillings done so I’m not confident it actually protects your teeth very well. The only positive about this toothpaste for me was it being fluoride free. We’re back to using fluoride tooth paste now.
