The pump bottle is perfect, allowing accurate and hygienic dispensing of the product.
The formula is a pleasant, fragrance-free lightweight cream that glides easily onto the skin. It looks shiny and greasy at first, then gradually dries down to a soft sheen.
In terms of its performance, I'm pretty pleased. I have very dry, sensitive, pale skin, and the lotion feels comfortable and lightly hydrating, and definitely protects from the sun. However, if my skin's feeling particularly irritated and sensitive (usually in really cold weather), the Olay does sting slightly when applied.
I've found it works best for me when layered. In winter I use it with serum and another pure moisturiser. In summer I wear it with just serum underneath. And throughout the year, I mix a good blob of foundation with it before applying, which turns it into a very nice bb cream.
Overall it's a great product that works well for me. I'd prefer it if it were a 100% mineral sunblock though, as I think it's the sunblock chemicals that cause my occasional skin reactions with the product.
