Loving these

I've bought five of these since Christmas so I am clearly loving them. I have Wild Card, Full House, Winning Streak, High Stakes and Checkmate as well as the top coat. My favourite colour so far would have to be Wild Card which is a really vibrant colbalt blue. It has something else to it though which makes it look like no blue I've ever seen before.

The application is easy! Apply two coats of colour and then the top coat. I find that I could get away with one coat of colour but two make it that much more vivid and amazing. The polish dries relatively fast although you do need to be careful with denting. Sometimes it feels dry to the touch but it can still dent so definitely give yourself ample time when using.

What I love about these polishes is that there is no need for the UV lamp. I find that a UV lamp feels like it is burning my fingers so I don't look forward to using gel polish. But with this polish, problem solved. Gel polish with no burning.

In order to get a streak free and shiny finish, it's good to experiment with how much product you apply at once. I find that if you apply too little, it gets streaky and doesn't look as nice when finished (even with two coats) so typically I apply a little more than I usually would with a normal polish.

I can't find anything to say how long the polish is supposed to last but it does say it is long wearing. I would consider this polish to be long wearing. I found that I wore this for 4-5 days with it still looking good (minimal fading at the fingertips) and probably could have stretched it out to another couple of days.

Better then OPI!

After seeing this product debut at my local Farmers the nail polish enthusiast inside me decided that I had to try at least one of these colours. The first two colours I purchased were numbers 030 (Beginners Luck, Pearl pink) & 510 (Sure Thing, White). Whenever I buy white in any nail polish brand I always have an issue with the nail polish being 'gluggy' and not applying evenly at all, however with one coat of this polish the outcome was already incredibly smooth, opaque and even. After loving the first two polishes so much I decided to go get a few more, Numbers 100 (Cardshark, Baby pink), 420(Winning Streak, Lilac), 540 (Checkmate, Nude) & 010 (The Diamond Topcoat). All of these polishes held up the high expectations i had, and by adding the diamond topcoat they gave the appearance of a gel manicure. I have found the polishes can last almost a week without any chipping. The polish is easily removable with nail polish remover, leaves no stains on the nails and also seems to fill in some ridges I have in the nails also. I would definitely recommend these nail polishes to anyone

Tips: Although the nail polish still looks great without, the diamond topcoat makes the nail polish last much longer and gives the appearance of a gel nail manicure.

Revlon Colorstay polish

I always have my nails painted but they are always chipping after a few days. I have tried gels in the past and loved it. After trying this gel polish I found that it lasted a long time. It was easy to apply and quick to dry. Definitely going to buy more colours.

Not so envy after all

When farmers had a sale on these I wanted to give these a try. Gel nail polishes have been a huge hit this year . I'm planning on trying out more. I got mine in a set with flat colours one top coat and one sparkle. Whats weird is that each colour seemed to have a different type of consistency and strength in colours.

These come in clear bottles so the colour is visable. I have four colours . The consistency of them is thick. But some are thin. They smell like chemicals.

The first colour I tried was a peach. Its called Jokers wild. Though the consistency of this is medium to thick I found I had to layer it on to get vibrancy of colour. It was a streaky mess.

Second colour I tried is a deep violet purple sparkle with glitter in it. Its called show time. Its quite opaque in the beginning stages of dry time but builds up into a bright colour. No streaks no mess . Excellent finish.

Third colour I have is Royal flush. Its a vibrant pink. Medium to thick coverage. I put two coats on and it was fine. Full colour but took quite a while to dry. Didn't last longer than a day and chipped.

Fourth colour is my favourite Teal. Its called Dealers Choice. This has a silver shimmer going through it. A lovely vibrant colour it held for 4 days and then it began to chip.

Overall the colours of these were great. Some were better than others. Im not sure why this happened. The consistency seemed inconsistent amongst each colour. They all had the same process of nail colouring too. Would I buy them again. I would but I would be selective with what I choose. I think they are priced high. Could be cheaper. Great packaging and brush just be wary of the consistency between colours. Drying time did take quite long.

Almost like getting it down professionally

I got a whole bunch of makeup for xmas this year including four of these amazing polishes. I got lady luck, beginner luck, pocket aces as well as the diamond top coat. I havent seen these in shops like my farmers but ive heard all the praise. So i was super excited when i ripped up the wrapping papwr and found these. Picked a sunny spot two days ago to try out lady luck. The application was so smooth and there was no streaks at all. Two coats gave a really vivid color. When that droed, I applied two coats of diamond top coat becauses I wanted it to be extra durable amd glossy looking. Im loving the finish and it looks really professional, the shine is amazing and I think its perfect for the festive season. Havent had any chips or scratches yet but looking at ny fingers now i think my left index finger got a tiny dent, probably from me touching it to see if its dried yet(it wasnt). Im reallyimpressed as i use my hands alot doing house work, crafting and playing the piano which usually ruins my nails pretty fast.

Super glossy nails

I religiously paint my nails, using mainly OPI polishes. But I've recently been getting irritated with having to repaint my nails every 3 or so days due to chipping so I thought I would give the Revlon Gel Envy a try as it was supposed to last longer.

I bought three colours and the diamond top coat. The colours are great, I love the range. The polish itself was easy to put on, although not quite as good as OPI. It doesn't last as long as it says on the ad, but it does last longer than standard polish. My first application lasted 5 days no chips, and my second lasted 4 days no chips.

awesome

Looking around the vibrant purple colour just jumped out at me, screaming buy me. It is a thin yet easy to apply formula. It was great to get the right amount to apply in a smooth even manner. It did take alot longer to dry which was frustrating, but had a beautiful finish. It lasted about 3 days before i need to reapply. pretty good considering how ruff on my nails. all and all lives up to the hype

Tips: have plenty of time for drying

Not gel at all

For a start, it's not gel, it doesn't require a lamp to set, it's just normal nail polish. But still, it claims to last longer than usual nail polish and my nails are notorious for chipping nail polish. So I thought I'd give it a go. Usual nail polish can chip on my nails within 12 hours. I liked the idea that I didn't need a base coat, that there is a base coat built in to these colours. So I gave it a go, and it lasted a few days rather than the usual 12 hours. I envy you girls that colours last on. So it lasts longer than usual nail polish does, I will give them that. But I'm proof it doesn't last a week and I don't think they should call it gel.

Interesting to try

I have wanted to try the Revlon Gel Envy nail polish ever since it came out and lucky enough I saw them on sale just a few days ago. I bought two of them, the diamond top coat and a white called Sure Thing. The white comes out exactly how it looks in the bottle which is a really bright white and because it is quite thick but still a nice consistency I only had to apply one coat to my nails to make them look good. The brush on the white nail polish is very big making it quick and easy to apply to the nail however it does make it a little harder to create nice edges and not get too much on the skin around your nail. The diamond top coat's brush is two brushes put side by side, this makes it quicker to apply. The bottles look rather professional as if they could be in a salon. My nails started to chip not long after I applied the nail polish but to be fair I was doing things that caused them to chip, not all of them are chipped though and after a few days are still decent looking, a lot better than some other nail polishes I've tried. I wonder if I applied two coats of the white next time it might make it last longer until it chips.

Tips: Try to paint them when there is natural UV light so that they try faster.

good product

so this lasts longer than regular nail polish, but no where near as long as if you get shellac done at a salon, a week is the most you will get out of this. It definitely lasts better on toes than fingers. Nice colour range. i will use this over my other nail polish but probably won't be buying any more
