Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

There is nothing that bad about this mascara but it didn't do anything for my lashes. It gave a bit of volume a bit of length and that was it. It wasn't clumpy which was nice. It's a nice mascara to use if you are going layer you're mascara but I wouldn't use it by itself.

I would have loved this mascara had it not been for the applicator. It has the most annoying little bend it that I assume is for easy application but it just makes it harder. It doesn't have enough bend in it and it doesn't move very easily. That aside like the formula and it separates and gives volume to my eyelashes well. It also last really well and I don't find it to difficult to remove. I wish they would re design the applicator though!

I was drawn in to buy this by the bright blue packaging with gorgeous purple writing... but it's just an average mascara.

The brush is a bit strange and wiry, but does an OK job on lashes. However it is quite difficult to use sometimes because it is so bendy! This does hold true to it's claims of a non-stiff, gel/mousse formula but it doesn't do much to your lashes at all. It doesn't hold a curl which is the thing I mostly dislike about this.

I found it made my lashes slightly thicker and spiky, which was not the look I was going for. If you're looking for a more natural looking mascara, this will do for you, but otherwise you'll be disappointed.

Overall I do think there are much better mascaras out there, especially for the price. I son't be buying this again as I have found much better alternatives.

I tried this after several years of using Avon's Supershock. I wish that I had stuck with Avon--the brush on this one is weird and small and I find the texture too 'wet'. My eyelashes are very fine and this is too heavy for them! I often end up with gluggy bits stuck to my eyelids.

I have used Maybelline's Falsies mascara and love it so I thought I would try this one but unfortunately I did not like it as much as I thought I would. It does give my eyelashes more volume - just not as much as I would like. Maybe it is just me but I found this wand a bit harder to use. On the plus side it does not flake or smudge and your eyelashes do not feel dry and brittle (I tried the waterproof version). It's not a bad mascara, just not the one for me.

I was very excited to try this product as I usually love Maybelline mascaras. Unfortunately this mascara didn't really tick all the boxes for me! I did love that it didn't make my eyelashes stiff and gave me a more natural look.. but I would of liked more length. I applied a few coats and still didn't feel that it had much "wow" factor also the brush is a real let down, its small and I feel that the "bendy" end is unnecessary and made it harder to use. So if you are looking for a more natural look this is the mascara for you.

Don't get me wrong I love Maybelline Mascaras but this one just didn't do it for me. Sure it coated the lashes and was not gluggy, it provided length and curl but I felt it was the exact same formula as the over Maybelline Volum'Express Mascaras just with a different wand type. This is what made me give it an average score.

I love Maybelline, and have only ever brought their makeup. I thought I would like this mascara, but it just didn't live up to my expectations. I felt like it didn't make my eyes pop. If you want dramatic eyelashes, don't go for this one. Also the wand always left me with smudges just above my lash line. I've never had that problem with any other mascara.

This is not the right kind for me as I've got fine tiny lashes and this mascara doesn't give the desired volume and length.You need to apply multiple coats in order to achieve a better look.The wand is a bit flimsy and the formula is not thick enough.I wouldn't recommend it for someone with short lashes.
