This foundation covers everything while looking natural. It is also great for building coverage! It also provides and natural glow while sitting on the skin really well, (it doesn't go 'scaley').

Tips: Could improve the packaging or add a pump to it as it is just in a bottle and can be hard to get out the right amount.
The formula of this foundation is spot on for even coverage and ability to blend for a seamless finish, there is also a wide array of skin tones catered for that everyone can find their true match.
Downside I found was that it doesn't come with a pump, but you can purchase one from the MAC store to add on but then that just adds to the price, but I did grab the pump as it can be moved onto a new bottle when replacing and it makes the whole process easier so you don't waste product.
Long lasting, medium coverage that you can build up and doesn't clog the pores, works well with a variety of primer types too as well as setting powders. It is a dream.
My utmost favourite foundation so far. I am olive skinned, so I find it extremely hard to find foundations that match my skin tone well. This product does an excellent job and provides me with great coverage. I sometimes find that other foundations oxidise on my skin, but this foundation stays put. It makes my skin look glowing and fresh. I use this product when I'm going out for events, or occasionally because the price is a little high for it. However, I'm considering that I just resort to this foundation completely, because a little does go a long way and by far this is the best foundation I have tried.
I absolutely love this foundation it's so easy to blend and great to use every day or for special events it's very easy to blend into the skin and it compliments my skin really well
Tips: I use mine with a wet beauty sponge and find it applies flawlessly and much more easier than it normally would
I love this foundation! And cannot rave about it enough, its long wearing, buildable and so versatile. Deffinetely takes the cake as my favourite high end foundation.
Tips: I apply mine with a damp blender and find it gives it a more natural look.
When I first tried this foundation, I thought I had found my holy grail. At that time I have, but of course, with the innovation in make-up industry, more products are deemed better that this foundation, in my opinion.
Pros: colour selection - yellow and pink tones friendly, coverage- full, sinks wells in the skin and blends well with powder products. Cons: dries quickly, strong scent, tad expensive, can be cakey if you have dry skin.
Tips: Ask for a sample and try it first at it breaks out people with sensitive skin. It dries quickly so work in sections of the face.
Do we really need to give MAC more credit? But since this site doesn't have elusive products like Thin Lizzy's concealer (my holy grail), I'll just add to the hype here. The scent-free, mattifying formula is hard to fault – easy to blend, medium coverage certainly build-able to full coverage, stays all day and doesn't break me out. I'm a sucker for glass packaging as I love something weighty and slightly luxurious, it's a joy whenever I use it. If I have to nit-pick: the reason why my recommend rating is a 4 is due to its price, its dear and for people starting off I might recommend a drugstore brand. Wish it came in pump packaging rather than a pour jar, as sometimes I have to stand there waiting for it to pour out. But who am I kidding, this'll be on my vanity (in a good way) for a long time coming.
Tips: Apply with a foundation brush (as its liquid and can get under your nails rather quickly) then finish off with a Beauty Blender. They come in a huge selection of shades so skin-matching should not be an issue with this!
I have used this product on and off for years, it is pricey so often change when i run out. i love its full coverage and allows me to have a flawless look for that special event. It is thick and can dry my skin out so i tend to have a break, or only wear it when im heading out. But neverless it is definatly my favourite!!!
Tips: Make sure to moisturise and apply a good primer to avoid those lines showing after a few hours wear
My holy grail. I love this foundation compared to all others. I have very oily skin, so I found this doesn't slip off unlike most foundations. Would recommend / 10 <3
One night, after finding out that I was going to graduate, I was kicking around Riccarton Mall, wondering, How am I going to treat myself for this huge achievement. Again. Because I'll use any excuse multiple times.
I ended up at MAC, wanting some of that mysterious Rose pigment that money just can't buy, and decided when I couldn't get that, I'd get a new foundation. After a discussion with the wonderful store manager, she put me onto studio fix and then colour matched me there and then.
Applied with a beauty blender, the finish is medium, and flawless and stays that way all work day. I do find it a little on the drying side but with oily skin, that sometimes isn't a bad thing. The first few times, it broke me out, but now I don't have any problems!
Tips: Use a beauty blender and get the pump! Its way easier to get the product out of the bottle :) A few extra dollars for a little bit less mess.
