MAC Strobe Cream Review

I purchased this last year after hearing Shaaanxo rave about it. I am a matte girl through and through but this has started getting me into the dewy look. I like to mix it with foundation and it really does illuminate the whole face. I have also tried wearing it over my moisturiser on non makeup days for a glow, but didn't find this worked as well.

I brought this last year. Its pretty pricey for the amount of product you get, And although i absolutely love the way it looked on my skin and the sheen it gave through my faoundation.It makes you skin look super glowy, healthy but natural. It doesnt give that glittery sheen, its very natural. My problem with the product is that i dont think its suited to oily skin :( unfortunately it broke my skin out pretty bad. I gave it away to a freind (who has normal skin) and she absolutely loved it! so personally it didnt work with my oily skin. but for a normal or dry skin i think id be great for you if you like that dewy finish.

I absolutely love this, even though I have naturally oily skin it doesn't make my skin worse I love the glow it gives me its perfect as a primer under a foundation and hydrates very well

I have always heard and read about this cream and HAD to try it out! Let me tell you, from my illuminating face, to yours...it is a beautiful product. Apart from the obvious fact that it highlights my face, it has so much goodness jam-packed into it that will de-stress, moisten and freshens my otherwise dull, dry and boring skin. If there ever was an item that I would repurchase on this earth, it would be this product. All you need is a tiny amount to rub around your face and then sit back and watch the magic happen.

I love Mac Strobe Cream! I have been using this as my every day primer since I got it. It really helps illuminate your skin and gives that healthy glow. It also is super hydrating which I love. I just use clean hands to apply this after I tone and pop on my eyecream. I find adding a little under the eyes before concealer helps to brighten and lift that area too! You only need a little of it as it does spread easily and is very pearlescent.

As much as I love MAC products, I really wasn't that happy with this product. I tried the version in the pump bottle which I think is a runnier consistency to the one in the tube so perhaps that was the reason why I didn't enjoy it. For the price, it really didn't do what I wanted it to but I may try the thicker version next time to see if that makes a difference.

I love it! Gives a healthy glow to the skin, easy to apply and not harsh at all. Love that I was able to buy a small tube as I was a first time user so wasn't 100 % sure about it but once I have finished I will be buying he larger tube

Expensive, but worth the pennies if your foundation looks flat and tired. It instantly illuminates your skin and gives it a nicer base to put your foundation on.

When I need a little pick me up I use this under my every-day makeup instead of a primer and also at nights if I'm going out as it makes my skin look glowy and all around amazing.. and of course keeps my foundation looking flawless :)

A little goes a long way so even though its not the cheapest product out there a tube does last for ages! I apply it with a foundation brush so I can use as little as possible.

i love this cream, i always apply it under my foundation and it always gives me a brighter look to my skin, leaves it moist and dewy appearance. I have quite dry skin as my acid mantle is recovering from the use of the wrong products and this helps to hydrate my skin
