I See You Santa

I have really got into bubble bars and as a bit of a christmas spirit, I could hardly not try a santa (or peeping santa in the case) bubble bar.

The peeping santa bubble bar was a little different from other bubble bars I have tried with its more awkward shape to cut into pieces and that there were effectively seperate parts of the bubble bar as oppose to the more single component bubble bars I normally get.

The peeping santa bubble bar could then like any other bubble bar be ran underwater to create bubbles.

The bath was then full of long lasting floral fruity bubbles which made the bathroom smell absolutely lovely.

The product was lovely and I would repurchase as a gift but probably not for myself. I didn't like chopping santa into pieces :P

I could bathe in this for all eternity!

After reading and seeing the article on the LUSH Christmas goodies, I had my eye on the Peeping Santa bubble bar, it looked so cute and adorable! I don't have a bath in my home but I knew I would be able to use this when I go to my mothers or grandparents house as they have big bath tubs! A little over 2 weeks went by before I was able to use this, and let me just say it was well worth the wait!

The Peeping Santa bubble bar is quite big, its big enough to use sparingly but if you know me, I go full ball or not at all! So I ran the bath tub and wet this before crumbling it into smaller pieces, I found this bar was harder and more dense to break up, if you didn't crumble the pieces it didn't fully break apart in the bath.

As you can imagine it smelt like bliss, the sweet aroma could be smelt down the hall way of my grandmothers house! It has sweet scents of candy floss, strawberry which was smothered in flowers, it is hard to explain all the different fruity and floral notes in this bubble bar because its a mix of many.

I will be buying this again before Christmas finishes, or maybe 2, they smell amazing and leave your skin smelling so deliciously sweet and smooth. And prepare for a mountain of beautiful bubbles!

Tips: I let the bubble bar soak for a few seconds before breaking it apart as this bubble bar was more compact compared to other bubble bars I have used.

Santa Claus is coming to town!

This is the cutest little Santa Claus I ever did see, and it makes your Christmas baths extra special! It smells like heaven and makes the most beautiful bubbles. If Snow Fairy is not the scent for you, then give this one a go! :)

Cutest Santa Ever!

I accidentally bought one of these in the boxing day sales, not realizing I was getting one in the WOW gift box. I was pretty stoked as the one that came in the WOW box was broken, so I used that first. I found it easy enough to rip his head off, so I can get two baths out of one bar!

This little dude is cute. He is about the same size as Candy Mountain, which is good, cos that means I can get 2 baths out of Candy Mountain too (small bath holla!). He has cute little eyes that stick out from underneath his hat and he looks a little cheeky. The scent of this bomb is quite lovely, definitely floral but still sweet and at first smell I thought it was a bit like Candy Mountain, just a bit more flowery. It actually belongs to the same scent family as D'Fluff Shaving Cream, and Strawberry Feels massage bar, as well as cult favorite Yummy Mummy shower gel/cream.

The color of the water changes to the same color as this dudes hat, which also the same or a similar color to the Santa Baby lip tint. It was hard to crumble at first but I held it under the water and the bubbles came. I was disappointed really, the amount of bubbles I got for more than half of the bar was an armful, if that. I know I could've kept agitating the water but I didn't see much point.

This bubble bar made my skin soft as soon as it touched the water and my skin is still soft an hour later with the scent going pretty strongly. I don't put my hands in the water often as I'm usually playing on my phone, but when I do I'm glad to know that it doesn't soften my nails too much. So while I wouldn't repurchase, it was a really nice bubble bar.

Sweet little Santa

Here we are in September and I am still making my way through last year's Lush Boxing Day sale haul! Having had a sneak peak of what's coming this Christmas, I need to start clearing the decks, fast!

I crumbled half of this bad boy under running water in a little net. Usually a much smaller amount will yield masses of bubbles with this method but I only got an adequate amount this time. This does not have a distinct smell, just a sweet aroma. It kinda smelt like standing next to the bomb displays in Lush when the smells all blend together. It turned the water a orangey red with white fluffy bubbles.

This left my skin feeling soft without moisturising afterwards but the scent did not linger on me. This was a pleasant enough soak but I wouldn't choose this over the new things coming this Christmas.

Left me underwhelmed

I find this guy one of the cutest special edition pieces, up there with the gold rings and butterball bears. But after using it I'm left slightly underwhelmed. Yes, there were bubbles, but no where as much as I'd hoped, and they didn't last all that long. The water ended up being a red-y tinge and smelt sweet but didn't really have a distinct flavour.

I feel like peeping santa was a really good concept but was lacking in the "it" factor that makes so many of Lush's products stars.

Creepy eyed Santa

When these were released I bought several of them as they just looked so cute, it's like the macaron style bubble bars where there is a creamy layer smooshed between two hard discs. But the top piece of this is shaped like Santa's hat, and the cream in the centre has the two eyes (one of mine actually had rather creepy looking eyes though!)

While running the bath I hold this under the running water. The scent is very sweet mostly from the shea butter I can't pick any scent other than that. It's very sweet but nice. This also turns the bath a light shade of red. I was disappointed at the bubbles, I didn't get much of a bubble action going on with this bubble bar.

I hop in the bath and I can't smell much of the sweetness, and I am feeling slightly underwhelmed by the cute face that once was.

When I get out I notice my skin does feel gorgeous and soft which I love. I have given the rest to my girls for their baths but It would have been a good addition to other bath bombs and bubble bars just to have gorgeously soft skin. I wouldn't rush out to repurchase next Christmas.

One of the nicest Christmas Editions

I'm still working my way through quite a few of the Christmas releases and loving it.

Very cute wee bath product this is! I crumbled it under the bath water as it was running and it created the most bubbles I have managed to get out of a Lush product which I was impressed with this.

I found the scent quite sweet but not too sickly so I enjoyed it. I also liked that the scent stuck around so my bathroom smelt lovely for a while after using this. The bath water turned a nice red shade. I found it made my skin really soft which might be because of the white cocoa buttery part in between the red bubble bar parts.

This isn't my favorite Lush product but certainly was fun to use.
