Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review

With a bath bomb I usually have to have bubbles. And this bubble bar with the twilight bath bomb is a match made in heaven.

The bubble bar looks like a cake of soap, it's pink with little blue flowers in the centre that are the same texture as the bar.

The scent is sweet, sweet lollies. There is nothing more up lifting than the creamy scent of lollies, it has the power to make me forget my stresses and relax for a while.

I crumble the bar under running water, I did use a whole bar but now I cut the bar in half, to me I haven't noticed much of a difference in only using half a bar the scent is still strong and I still get lots of fluffy little bubbles. The bubbles last for 20 minutes before they start to pop away.

I love sweet scents and love this bubble bar and have repurchased it several times over.

I'm not fortunate to have a bath tub in my home but I knew I was going away for a while and I knew there was going to be a big bath tub waiting for me so I went into Lush before going away and brought a few products to try while I was away from home.

The bar looks so adorable, I remember smelling this when I was in the store and I was tempted to eat it, it smells that delicious. It smells very sweet, it reminds me of the strawberry candy floss you buy at the night market (I'm unsure if it tastes like that though)

I wasn't sure how to use this so I started filling the bath tub and waited until the bath was half full before crumbling the whole bar into the bath. It made lots of tiny bubbles and I swirled my hand into the bath to make alot more bubbles. The aroma is so sugary and strong, once you lay in the bath the smells and the sensations of soaking in the bath feel like heaven! The bubbles soon went away and I was left with soft pink colored water, it was bliss soaking in the bath with this bubble bar.

After I had let the water out I could still smell the vanilla and strawberry scent on my skin, it lingers for a few hours, and even though you have emptied the bath hours ago, the bathroom still smells like a candy store.

I am now obsessed with this bubble bar, I will be purchasing this again for my next holiday away from home.

I was given one of these bars for Christmas last year. It smells nice, feels nice, and is certainly a fun addition to one's bath. The only problem I have with it is that the fragrance is a little overpowering, and makes you want to get out of your nice warm bath to raid a candy shop. Unfortunately it doesn't taste as good as it smells :P but that might be a good thing. It does make me wonder what it would look like if a sprinkler ever went off in a Lush store - would we see a wave of glittery bubbles rising up and overflowing the shelves?

All in all, this bar is quite nice. I am thinking of getting a few for all the hard to please people on my list this Christmas!

I absolutely love this bubble bar! the smell is absolutely delicious and makes relaxing into a warm bubble bath even better. It also has incredible moisturising properties which leave your skin feeling silky smooth when you get out of the bath. If you havent already tried this bubble bar, you need to!

I bought this gorgeous bubble bar from Lush on line. It was on sale for $4.95.

It was delicious! I crumbled half (heaps enough) into the bath each time and lay back and enjoyed the wonderful fragrance that is kind of like raspberry jelly crystals - yum!

The product doesn't cause any irritation to my skin and neither dries nor moisturises it.

The bar makes the water feel soft, and I can feel myself relaxing the second the scent hits my nostrils.

Hours later the hallway and bathroom still smell of it. Fantastic.

The bar looks really cute and would make a fabulous gift for anyone who likes bathing. I also like having this bar and other Lush products sitting on my duchess so it/they can scent my bedroom - divine!!!

I-I like Can-dee! (every time I use this I get the song stuck in my head). Sweet sugary Creamy candy bubble bar is named exactly as it should be. Velvety smooth and sweet, and froths up on demand... it truly is a rewarding treat for all ages. It smells like bubblegum but softer and maybe more vanilla toned.

In an average sized bath we managed a few decent (more than decent in fact) bubble baths that were choc full of bubbles and a sweet smell filled the room and the next as well as lingered on the skin for quite a while after. You will need an air tight container to store this in and away from heat as it has a tendency of going soft and crumbly sooner once exposed to air (at least that is what happened with my first one). I have since repurchased and my daughter and I both love how luxurious this bath product feels.

Lets not beat around the bush, I love Lush, and I love sugar and this product is the perfect combination of both so of course I am going to rate it highly.

This product is a bubble bar so it is used by crumbling under running water to create the perfect bubble bath. It comes in a small pink square with a small white flower in the middle. I use this in three baths, and just break off (or cut) a third at a time.

The bubble bar is really easy to crumble under running water, and almost too easy because this product is super soft. I once just held it too hard as i was walking down the hallway and the whole thing crumbled to pieces so be careful of that.

Once crumbled under running water, this product fills my bath with delicious candy smelling bubbles. Yum. Bear it mind i love the candy smell but could be too sweet for some of you. The bubbles in this bar seem to last forever as well which is awesome because a bath without bubbles is a sad time.

I find this product leaves a yummy candy smell on my skin as well as in my bathroom and I love it. Would repurchase this product again in a heart beat/

In case anyone is not yet clear on this, I am obsessed with Lush so have to have all the Lush I can get. Creamy Candy Bubble Bar embodies all that I hold dear about Lush. It is candy sweet, it means I get to have some me time and it also creates flubbles! Flubbles are my life when it comes to bath time or shower time so I am impressed straight away before even crumbling it in my tub.

The name is rather fitting it smells of candy. It reminds me of fruit sticks candy. Very sweet and you can almost smell the creaminess of it, weird but true. I can say honestly that if you use it too often it would get very sickly sweet though. Almost like snow fairy shower gel too sweet.

My bubble bars (yes I have a stock pile hehe) actually differs from that depicted. I guess I have bought the old stock before they changed the look. Although it's very similar the flower charm in the middle on all of mine are pink not blue.

Now we come to the best bit. I crumble it under the warm running water crumbling it in my hand as I go. I would have expected it to crumble like dust but it is actually more like a playdough or Lush Fun type consistency. It doesn't all crumble at first you have to keep picking up pieces that fell out and keep crumbling. Once you get past the crumbling, oh the flubbles galore!!!! The water weirds me out slightly being an off pink/red which isn't pretty at all and not very fitting with how cute the bubble bar is. Quite disappointing really, I expected a bit more intense pink tones. Regardless of that the bubbles are amazing and when I sink in to them I am lost. I am an island amongst a sea of bubbles! I love it!

After getting out my skin is quite slippery and soft. It's almost dangerous I have to say. I found it hard to stand without slipping back in from the greasiness of my skin afterwards. Despite all of this my skin feels like silk and smells like a candy store! I am in sugar heaven afterwards and I am obsessed!

The amount of bubbles that came from this little bar were heavenly. Soft and sweet they were just what I needed after a long, cold day. The bath left me feeling relaxed and smelling like a delightful piece of candy!

Will definitely go back for more.

Let me tell you the story of a wee bubble bar that was neglected for far too long. A tale of pure greed. You see, back in 2015, Lush had an epic Boxing Day sale. And I mean epic. I bought waaaaay too much. So much that I am still using products from that sale over a year later.

When this bubble bar first arrived, it was pretty and pink - how it should be. It smelt sweet and indeed just like candy and it's much loved sister Snow Fairy. But time has not been kind to this one. Once I finally dug it out from its dark hiding place, the colour had faded to a kind of griege. The sweet scent was still there but not so strong. I can normally get three big bubbly baths from a bar this size. This bar was very crumbly. I used my usual method of putting a piece of the bar in a net to put under running water to create more bubbles. It never really happened. The bubbles I did get disappeared within minutes of me getting in. The water did not change color and did not leave any scent on my skin. I felt the need to put on body lotion as soon as I got out.

Lesson learnt: Lush bubble bars and bombs are designed to be used fresh. So that's what I'm doing from now on. No more hoarding of bubble bars and only buying them when I'm ready to actually use them. I'll probably give this one another go one day. I feel that I am reasonable for it being a bit of a dud this time because I ignored it for so long. Hence my rating as I'm sure it is much better when used fresh as Lush intended.
