This winter for some reason people have been observing that their lips feel dry, last winter I had purchased the Trilogy Rosehip Oil Lip Balm so this year was able to recommend it to people, most were very pleased with the results.

I don't know if its because I am allergic to this or what but I found this a greasy oily mess which didnt sink into the skin - it is full of small waxy hard paraffin wax type lumps which look revolting. I had 2 weeks of scabby dried out bleeding cracked lips after using this. Do not recommend if you tend to be sensitive to natural formulations (I have problems with most mineral makeups and organic brands also).
This is the perfect lip balm. Not overly scented, good conditioning feel and slightly tinted for gorgeous lips.
I had wind burn on my lips from being out on the water for a full day. This helped soothe my lips and they looked and felt better within a day.
I keep it in my handbag now, and I won't use chapstick or similar anymore.
Tips: You'll only need to use once a day at max if you haven't got sore or chapped lips - this thing does it's magic without your lips needing to be smeared in it all day.
Wanted something more natural to use as a lip balm, as its the one beauty product I have in my bag always. Just didn't like the look, smell or after taste. Eugh. Had to chuck it out.
Not only do Trilogy make fabulous products they are amazing to deal with. I absolutely love the balm, however I could not stand the packaging, I popped Trilogy an email letting them know I was a bit disappointed that I couldnt get 100% of the product out due to the packaging, and Trilogy sent me a whole new lip balm in the revamped packaging and it was 100% better. Even though it can be a tad pricey I think it is definitely worth it!, so nourishing and my lips were in great condition for wearing it!
Tips: I like to put on a layer of Rosehip Oil lip blam before I put on any highly pigmented lippy. Seems to hold the moisture and makes the lippy super comfortable to wear.
I am addicted to lip balms, they have to be in stick form and not out of a pot and I would only use them during the day. Recently though, I started suffering from dry cracked lips and had no idea what it could be other than a change in my skin.
The price tag for this is quite daunting but I was desperate so I picked up this product to try and due to the applicator tip felt it would only be suitable for me to use at night.
I found the applicator tip a little unfriendly to use as application is not consistent, either too light or too heavy depending upon how much you squeeze out. The way to deal with that, squeeze a little bit out, apply it, stop squeezing and spread it around your lips with the applicator.
You only need a light coating, enough so your lips don’t feel dry.
It does have a slight scent to it but I don’t find this heavy or offensive and it doesn’t linger. The consistency is of a light butter that is easily spread to unprotected areas of the lip with the applicator.
As a night treatment for lips, this product will last you a long time and will keep you lips soft and supple, I can’t imagine using anything else and it is well worth the price tag.
I am a long time user and lover of Trilogy products and purchased this recently (mainly because I was getting more everything balm and wanted another product so I would get a free eye cream!). I am quite disappointed with the product - considering the price! I find it too oily and thin for my lips. It does feel nice on but it disappears so quickly and doesn't feel nourishing and healing enough. Think I will stick to my ecostore one.
I have always had flaky lips and just thought that's the way they were. I use lip balm regularly and started using Lush bubblegum lip exfoliator. This got rid of the flakiness for almost a day, but it would always come back. Now I have discovered the secret is moisture and putting goodness back into my lips, and this balm has done it! I put the balm on at night before I go to bed. I can't stand the texture! It feels goopy and weird, however I wake up with the softest smoothest lips ever! Lipstick now looks perfect, even satin and light matte shades that previously made the flakiness worse. Due to the cost and the texture, I will keep this as a night treatment but I am just so pleased I've found a solution to flaky lips.
I purchased this the other day for my partner as he suffers from very chapped dry lips and is always stealing my lip balms. As i allready love the trilogy range , i trusted that this would be a good product. Before giving this product to my partner i thought i would try it out first , and well i had to keep it for my self , i love it ! Its keeping my lips so moisturized and soft. I use all day and then apply it again before bed. Its super creamy and hydrating and slides on perfectly to the lips. Its a must and i will be purchasing another so we both have our own x
Tips: apply a small amount to the lips whilst doing your makeup to prep your lips before applying your lipstick. x
Great lip balm with natural ingredients that really hydrates dry lips. It does have an oily type texture so I prefer to use it at night, then I wake up with nice smooth lips, plus it smells gorgeous!
