I purchased the Lady Jayne tail comb for around $5 at the Chemist warehouse a few years ago, its still in great condition and is used everyday.
The metal tail makes parting hair very easy and precise, the comb smooths the hair and creates a flat surface, it can also be used when straightening hair which is my favorite way to use the comb, you just run the straightener down your hair and behind it have the comb follow in behind for a sleek effect.
This is my favorite tail comb as the others are cheaper and have a plastic tail which either breaks or becomes bent over time. It is worth $5 and would pay more for the quality.
Tips: Applying gel before smoothing your hair down or spraying hair spray to have a longer lasting effect.
